The director of the Diss branch, Chris and his sales assistant Tanya along with Sue in the office provided us with a excellent service throughout their handling of the sale of our property.
They were, at all times, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and always available to assist us with any concerns we may have had through the sale process.
I can highly recommend this great team to look after the sale of you home.

My wife and I have recently been interested in properties in Northamptonshire represented by Marie Fritz, as selling agent. We have been very impressed by Marie's knowledge of the houses in question, and of the local towns and region, and she has, in our view, represented the houses enthusiastically and fairly. My wife and I both saw Marie as active and engaged throughout - we have seen plenty of Sales Agents, in the past, who are far too passive in the process. The fact that we have not, in the end, purchased one of these properties was certainly not down to Marie and the way she handled the process - on the contrary, we felt her handling of the agency allowed us time to properly consider whether any of these houses were really right for us and, in the end, our decision not to pursue a purchase to completion was merely down to specific issues which were not possible to mitigate.
We are currently in the process of selling our own property in Bedfordshire. The best recommendation or reference we can provide is for us to say that we would be very happy to enlist the services of Marie if ever we were in the market to sell a house in an area she was covering from an Estate Agency perspective.

We recently purchased a home through the Fine & Country (Chiswick) branch and were disappointed with the quality of the agency throughout the process. As some examples:
Bidding process: After initially agreeing a price on the property, it became apparent that the agent was assuming that we would use his start-up side business (Daniel Madden and Partners) to sell our existing home. This was a surprise new 'condition' that was added at the last minute without any discussion or agreement by us and to our surprise led to the bid falling through (due to “not having visibility of the full process if they were not selling our home” or in my sceptical opinion “due to not getting the double commission of a sale and purchase”). As we really liked the home (if not the agent) we eventually went back in with a new bid 3 months later on the same basis (i.e. we decide who sells our house, not them) which they agreed to, as they had not found any other buyer in that time.
Conveyancing process: The process went smoothly and we went from bid accepted to completion within 3 months. However, you would not have known this judging by the excessive level of chasing by F&C who were contacting our conveyancers, ourselves and the agent selling our house almost every day for updates and tried to constantly bring forward the exchange date despite it having being agreed early on in the process. This led to us receiving complaints from our conveyancer and our estate agent (both of which were excellent throughout the process) at the level of pestering they were receiving. I’m not sure if this was driven by inexperience of F&C or their nervousness at the current fragility of the market, but either way it came across as quite unprofessional and unhelpful.
Completion: On the day of completion, the seller had left behind a lot of furniture and bulky items that had not been agreed in the sale process, which led to time and cost to us of removing them before we could move in. We contacted the agency a few times on this, but got no useful assistance at all which was at least true to form on their performance throughout the process.
I would recommend avoiding dealing with them if possible.

The Diss office have acted for the vendors of the beautiful thatched cottage that we exchanged on yesterday. Sue has been a lifeline, answering every question and liaising with the vendors to sort out surveys, electrical checks and general questions. Once things were into the legal phase the ball was passed to Julie (after sales at Norwich) who is Lioness class!! The lengths that she went to in order to exchange on the date agreed was amazing, liaising with solicitors and agents from the bottom of the chain to the top. Everyone we spoke to at Fine & Country were friendly, caring and professional. Highly recommended!

We recently purchased a 16th century listed property marketed by the Fine & Country Diss office. Tania was very communicative and helpful throughout, assisting us with our many questions. Thank you for helping with our purchase.

Very concerned when I overheard the Fine and Country agent (who is being paid by the vendor and should be representing their best interests) saying to a potential purchaser “all the furniture in the house was cr@p but most of that has been cleared now. Make them an offer - it’s already been reduced and you’ll be surprised what they might accept”!!!
For someone representing the vendor - the person who is paying his very fees and for whom he is obliged to achieve the best deal - this is not only unethical, it is highly unprofessional and downright offensive.
Why would you pay an agent like this to sell what is probably your most valuable asset?

I recently sold my house through Fine & Country Diss office (my property was in Eye). I felt very supported through the whole process by their team, Chris, Tanya, Tom and Phillipa. I sold to a chain free cash buyer so it all went relatively smoothly. I was kept up to date regularly and I found all the staff to be professional, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

The agent for the vendors of the house we bought was Fine & Country in Rugby. Sam Funnell showed us around the house and was clearly very knowledgeable about the property and the wishes of the vendor. During the process he checked regularly with us on how we were getting on with our sale and kept the vendors aware of the progress. Finally, when we arrived to move in, Sam was waiting for us with the keys. Although Fine & Country were not working for us, Sam was brilliant at every step of the way. A good friend who sold their house through him also had the same comments. We would thoroughly recommend Fine & Country - a very professional and well run set-up.

This is an unusual one as we were part of the upward chain but credit where it’s due!
Our buyers sold their property through Claire Heritage at Fine and Country , to say the least it was a very bumpy ride but we stuck with our buyers throughout and communicated regularly this is mainly because Claire put 100% into keeping us totally in the loop at every stage giving us confidence and commitment to ‘ stick with it ‘ early morning messages with updates , follow up calls with updated info .
We got there Claire … thank you from all of us in the chain , you did it girl!!!

As the property purchaser , I met Nigel Plaskett of Stratford on Avon office in his role as agent for the vendor.
Throughout the 8 month purchase period ( property withdrawn from the market at one stage) , we established a strong professional relationship with him which engendered our trust and respect , and indeed our patience as cash buyers. His agent role was fully respected throughout.
His professionalism is a great reflection on your Brand , which I would now consider employing if/whenever I may require require it’s / Nigel’s services.

We just recently exchanged on our property and Paula from Fine & Country was amazing from start to finish. The chain was not smooth running but Paula stepped in and guided the communication between each client. I don’t think we would be completing if it wasn’t for her. Would definitely recommend Fine & Country to anyone moving house.

Thanks so much Sam. You’ve been absolutely amazing. The service you guys have provided has been second to none. The whole experience of selling our home has been a breeze because of your commitment and attention to detail. Your communication, knowledge of the market and professional approach throughout the process has kept us informed and relaxed, making what could have been a very stressful experience a walk in the park. Thanks again for all your hard work, it’s very much appreciated. Cornwall here we come! Sam & Les Bell.

We bought our house through Claire Heritage at Fine & Country, and cannot compliment her highly enough for her support throughout the process. From the negotiation stage all the way through to completion, Claire kept us informed throughout. She kept up with our relentless questions, and helped to coordinate the sellers, lawyers, upper chain agents and tax advisers. Without doubt she is the main reason we managed to coordinate a completion which matched our earlier agreed sale date. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

We sold our house through Nicola and Liz at Fine and Country and I cannot recommend these ladies enough. We had several viewings which the ladies always went above and beyond to sell our house, they would even turn up early and help with any last bits of organizing as having three kids and a dog to get out of the house for each viewing was quite stressful but Nicola and Liz always made the process easier.
Once we sold our house the ladies didn’t just stop there, without their help I don’t think I would have moved anytime soon, they were chasing all solicitors and estate agents in the long chain on a regular basis and would continuously keep me updated .
The biggest thing I noticed is that their main priority is your happiness not a sale and this really shows in their working relationship with you, thank you ladies so much for everything.

I can not rate Mark Barnett from Fine and Country highly enough.
The service as a whole was excellent. He was available pretty much 24/7 and nothing was too much trouble.
After producing the most beautiful brochure, our home sold within a few days, however, the chain fell through near to exchange in Oct 22. Mark very quickly found another buyer and we completed in Feb 23. Thank you for looking after us throughout our journey.

Dominique went above and beyond any estate agent I've ever used. She is exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

What a Joy to find an Estate Agent who was professional, polite, understanding and efficient.
Apparently I can be quite high maintenance, but not too much trouble for Rebecca and the team at the Beccles branch.
Calls were answered efficiently and quickly, advice was swift and direct, it was a real dream to work with them. I would certainly use Fine and Country again for my next sale. Thank you and well done.

Claire Heritage professionalism and dedication to supporting us selling our home was faultless. Communication was swift and any queries we had responded too immediately, nothing was to much trouble for Claire to deal with if she didn't know the answer she would find out. Claire kept us informed and calm all the way through the selling and buying process. Claire advised us on the best way to market our home to get the maximum exposure and a victim of her own success as the response for viewing was incredible but Claire carried out the viewings with all prospective buyers. We shall definitely use Claire again. Thank you
