I've been using Fing for several years. It helps keeps track of my numerous Wi-Fi devices on my home network (upward of 100 devices) I actually have two other routers connected to my main router,... See more

Extremely useful product with great support.
I would not feel comfortable with WiFi without some easy way to keep an eye on network connections. The emails I get for new devices or device change of connection status put my mind at ease.
Recently I had to change my email address for the Fing account and their support got me through that process.
As already stated
As already stated, I am a pro at homebase, studying new programs I come across purely by accident mostly!
Great Software
Great software , saves time for me monitoring my network and gathering information on connected devices.
Great network information, but.....
Great network information while running the desktop app, however unless you run a raspberry pi you will need to leave your computer on all the time to monitor your network all the time and unless you pay for the full package you cannot block unknown devices on your network (not even manually, unless your a techie who knows how) Great app but not enough help to solve issues and I find the full package price to be too expensive for just a home user.
Amazing app worth every cent!

Detailed network activity and security reviews, this service is much needed for home users.

It provides a clear overview of all devices connected to my network
never underestimate this tool
never underestimate this tool, the free version alone managed to sort out network issues, easily
Great software
Pros:User-Friendly and Effective for Small Networks
Pros:
Easy to use.
Displays all connected devices.
Tests the Internet and helps detect issues.
Cons:
Some advanced features are paid.
Works best for smaller networks, like home networks.
Amazing for insight into home network but support needs HELP
Gain interesting insight into my home network. Between all of the IOT, wi-fi extenders, cameras, dongles, printers and everything else logging onto to our HOME network who could tell what's legit or not. But, but....the desktop APP does NOT appear to "play nicely" with Windows 11. It is NOT stable and just disappears and we constantly need to re-install it. Not good. The support people have no answer for this besides spinning us around in circles. No solution. No answer. Their support is somewhat lacking. Sorry. This is called trustpilot. They want truthful reviews. Good product. Needs a bit of TLC and stability on Windows and few more guidance videos and self learning tools.
top shelf group of folks at fing
top shelf group of folks at fing. they're fast to respond and always easy to work with. if you've battled an intruder like i have, the programs fing offers have helped me stay informed on a daily basis.

Useful tool
I've been using FING for several years with their premium level. I find it's been an excellent tool for managing my smart home devices and automation.
Long time user but on the way out...
I've been using Fing for a long time but switched to the free IP Scanner app on my iphone. Same features and still free.
I can't stand software that runs smoothly as a share or freeware and some day someone decides to transform it into a subscription model. I don't do subscriptions. You're not Adobe and Adobe is not a model to follow. take a look at DaVinci Resolve. These guys leave a free version to private users and a paid version for professional use.
Clearly with the recent limitation of network scans I'm done with Fing. That was the one step over the red line and I'm switching to other solutions. Bye Fing....
Great support and product
Support responses always come in under 24 hours, often same day. Responses are easy to understand and directions provided are clear. Thus far, I'm pleased with both support experiences as well as the product on my Mac and iPhone/iPads.
I don't get it anymore..
I don't get it anymore... Why do I need three (four?) different programs like F app, F desktop, F on iPhone and a different one on iPad? All of them show different topics, and now I have an alert on a rogue network which I should see and acknowledge in the mobile app... There is nothing there!!
Also, my DECO setup gave me a net mask of /22 for ~45 devices. Why and how should I change this?
fing needs to come back and make the…
fing needs to come back and make the fingbox device!
Fing Support experience
I use and enjoy Fing. I have the full setup: IOS apps, Mac desktop apps, and a Raspberry Pi 'agent' to monitor things.
I recently had an issue with my account storage. It was corrupted, and I could not fix it. Case opened, and I worked with a support person,
Michal Majek, who owned the case and responded faithfully to updates.
It took longer than I would have expected to resolve the account storage issue, but the response to emails was very nice to see and to know the problem was being worked. Knowing that you know I am out here and wanting status was gratifying.
It's all fixed now, and everything is humming along nicely.
I could have built this setup using open-source tools like nmap and such, but this does exactly what I want and it's off the shelve. If I want something else of more, I know how to manually go get it.
Sidebar: Device identification keeps getting better too. Right now the only misidentified hardware is the Synology AP, which I cannot convince the Fing app does not run DSM. That's the Synology NAS OS...
