My experience with finlock gutters, from start to completion was totally faultless. From my very first very informative phone call with Harvey. To when the workers Scott and Luke arrived they where great workmen. Arriving when they said they would and clearing up. You would not have known I have had major work done to my house. Quick, efficient and professional would highly recommend this firm and their workers. Totally 5 stars.

I received a mercy call from the office after being let down by a scaffold firm asking if I could… her words save her life (I probably know the reason why now ! ) I erected some scaffold over a conservatory so some gutters could be fitted.job completed scaffold down big thank you for saving her life.I then invoiced and still after many phone calls two months later payment still not made so having to take the next step ! Totally untrustworthy stay well clear !

Definitely recommend this company, pleasure to deal with from start to finish, the guys that did the work were brilliant, professional-fast-tidy.

Couple of false starts due to unforeseen issues but considering that they stepped in at very short notice after the original company could not undertake the work that was not really an issue. Tenant happy with the work and I'm happy with the cost all things considered would use again

I urge extreme caution in dealing with this company who now trade as Rubber Roofs 4u UK Limited (covent garden - Company no: 13335571) I had a rubber roof installed. The workmanship is appalling and had I not snagged a number of issues, including daylight through the roof, before he finished, my experience would be far worse. Having said that, I still have several unresolved issues which include a patch on the epdm. ( which is supposed to be one whole piece) My property was blatantly damaged by the workman, who was clearly annoyed because of the issues I had highlighted. Once paid the owner Tim Gray has ignored my request to rectify the issues which are numerous. He has also not issued a receipt or guarantee (not that I'd expect that to be worth the paper its written on)! I have photos and video footage to evidence my claims.

In February 2020, the work carried out by this company was completed. I had a full roof strip and replacement, chimney removal and new windows and doors. A significant amount of work. Less than 2 weeks later I had water coming in around a dormer window. This progressed to a waterfall every time it rained. I sent pictures and videos of the leak and damage. I was understanding of the restrictions due to the pandemic and patiently waited. I saw reviews popping up of new work that had been taken on and yet my leak was still not sorted. This leak caused damage internally to TWO floors. I have plaster missing, laminate floor ruined and wallpaper peeling off. I eventually paid someone else to carry out the repair and have been informed that some of the work I had paid for had not been carried out. In December 2020 Tim Gray told me that he was going to fold the company. I took him to the small claims court and won a judgment against the company for nearly £10k. He has now started the liquidation process. BUT before doing this, he has started another company up and changed his website to reflect the slight change in name. Finlock Guttering Solutions UK Ltd is now going by the name Finlock GUTTER Solutions UK Ltd. All the reviews have carried over and therefore new customers will believe they are dealing with a company that has a good history. Not one that runs up nearly £100k in debt and then just shuts down, writes it off and starts another one. I am sure Tim will refute my claims but I have remained factual and given details that are in the public domain. Unfit conduct as a Director of a limited company playing the system and causing high levels of stress to innocent parties trying to repair the damage caused. No accountability nor decency.
