Fantastic products, terrible ecommerce & suppoert

The products are fantastic and in any cases singular. Unfortunately the e-commerce operation is horrible. No customer service. They once confirmed my order then casually informed me they had to cancel it weeks later "due to a system error." Then took weeks more to refund my payment. They never reply.

Desappointment

We bought a tapio Anttila ON2 sofa thinking that it would be practical to transform into 2 single beds or a double bed. We are very disappointed. The beds are very heavy and difficult to handle. The mattresses are fixed to the wood, making it impossible to fit a fitted sheet! What's more, the delivery service is below par and doesn't respond to requests. For a high price.
Nous avons acheté un sofa tapio Anttila ON2 en pensant que ce serait pratique pour transformer en 2 lits individuels ou lit un double. Nous sommes très décus. Les lits sont très lourds et difficiles à manipuler. Les matelas sont fixés sur le bois, ce qui interdit d'installer un drap housse ! De plus le service de livraison est en dessous de tout et ne répond pas aux demandes. Pour un prix élevé.

The poster arrived with damange

The poster arrived with damange, and I cant use it at all. Reported the damage to the shop upon receiving the poster. it's been a week, haven't heard anything back.

Thief, please process the refund and get your damaged poster back. I literally lost $100 on this trash

Extremely slow delivery and no customer…

Extremely slow delivery and no customer care. Took 20 days for my item to be delivered and over 10days for FDS to send my items to the courier. Most frustrating part is that there is no one available to speak to either on live chat or via phone.

Ridiculously slow delivery& Poor CS experience

Poor overall experience. My order took nearly a month to arrive, which is unusually slow for domestic order. When the item finally arrived, I noticed one of the item had since been discounted by 44€, and the new listing showed a much shorter delivery estimate (Following week as opposed to 1 month).

I contacted customer service to ask about a possible price adjustment, considering the long wait and the updated pricing. Their only suggestion was to return the item and place a new order?! How is this efficient or logical? I felt very dismissed with this whole experience buying designer products. I’ll just be returning the item. No thank you.

I won’t be using this store again. And stop removing bad reviews! It looks like slow delivery and poor CS is a common issue in FinnishDesignShop

Customer service is smoke and mirrors

Customer service is smoke and mirrors. Who knows if any real people actually work here or if it’s all an illusion. Extraordinarily frustrating to deal with. They claimed free shipping then slapped a 200 euro charge on a dinner set!

Order packing shortfall

Ordered 2 tea towels from UK website. Only one was delivered. Customer Services not answering phone and webchat doesn’t understand my query. Email sent but 7 days later still no response… disgraceful attitude to Customer Service.

Moomin Mugs

We ordered these Moomin mugs for our staff at the Toronto Finnish-Canadian Seniors Centre. We received all of the mugs we purchased.
These items were highly regarded with the entire staff members.
We had to pay about $100 in customs duties to UPS, an issue we were unaware of when we placed our order. We needed to pay more than we expected.
Otherwise we are happy and everyone is enjoying coffee in a Moomin mug at the office everyday.

Marketing that doesn't match reality

Website states they have human chat support available Mon-Fri 10-16. Good luck getting with human. In fact you will not, there is no human chat support, only AI robot. Empty marketing claim. Saving on supporting customers, using useless robots that can't answer what you need.

Website states in stock, ships next business day. Again just empty marketing trick claim far from reality - of course my order containing only this one ''in stock - ships next business day'' article was not shipped next business day.

Be transparent, state reality - then you will match customers expectations instead of disappointment.

Deeply disappointing

Deeply disappointing. We bought an armchair, a side table and a lamp, and DHL didn't even attempt to deliver it to our home. They call from their truck, and if you don't answer at that exact moment, they'll drop it off at a collection point. Obviously, collecting furniture requires certain logistics, which you'd expect a store dedicated to selling FORNITURE to know how to solve, not just take your money. When we contacted them to tell them that DHL never attempted to arrange a delivery date and had left our furniture quite far from our home, the only solution they offered was to leave it there until they returned to their warehouse, issue a refund, and then buy it again. I've never heard anything more absurd, lacking in environmental ethics and professionalism in my life. We lived a nightmare to finally have that furniture at home and obviously we will never buy anything from them again.

Probably the worst website I’ve ever…

Probably the worst website I’ve ever dealt with and I deal with a lot. Every time I order anything they send it to the ether and it never arrives. This would be tolerable if they would at least notice that they are inputting the shipping information incorrectly or that my packages take months to arrive when I literally pay for shipping for them to arrive sooner. Then they have the audacity to have a robo chat that runs you in circles and never lets you talk to a human. I sincerely hope they go out of business.
