Having used First Financial Intermediaries for over 20 years, they are always my first point of call for financial related matters. I recently needed to take out some life insurance and Daniel from First Financial Intermediaries was excellent. He provided me with sound advice and took care of the entire process. I have used this company some 4 times to find a new mortgage and to also remortgage. It was recommended to me some 12 years ago and I do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a good mortgage broker. My contact person is Simon Ryder, one of the directors of this company. He has been an amazing help in finding a larger and cheaper mortgage than if I went to one of the big banks. His manager, Paras Pattni, has also been wonderful in following-up of what needs to be done, his clarity in complex explanations and an overall calmness.

Shaun Owens was recommended to me by another of his customers when I was still just exploring what is out there. Nevertheless, he took the time to explain the process in detail, walk me through the steps and answer all of my questions (and, trust me, there were many!).

Gavin Pearse and Jay Patel were extremely helpful in finding us the right mortgage, walking us through the process and supporting our entire journey. There was transparency for the entire duration of the engagement, with them letting us know the exact rates at any point in time, and the various offers (as well as what evidence the bank was likely to ask us).

Remortgaging is never fun, especially when interest rates are going up every month! However, working with Matthew and James at First Financial made the process very straight forward and took most of the stress out of the process. The team are so helpful and knowledgeable and I wouldn't work with anyone else.
