These guys were the only place I could order a bench and weights. Shipment arrived slightly later than expected but I was kept up to date throughout stages of order and receipt of shipment. I ended up cancelling a purchase due to a long lead time (which was down to the suppliers) but these guys kept me up to date every step of the way, contact and customer service was fantastic and had no issues refunding me when I got a little impatient with the lead time.

The worst customer experience I have ever had.
My last post was deleted so I am posting it again.
I do not normally leave reviews but in this instance I feel it is necessary to write one due to it being the worst customer experience I have ever had. Fitness Equipment NI appeared reputable and legit so I ordered gym equipment from them so I could carry on training during lockdown (I deliberately placed my order before the lockdown was announced when every gym equipment company had stock in). A summarised version of events is as follows:
• Before purchasing anything I contacted them to ensure they had sufficient stock for the items I wanted to buy. I was assured that there would be no issues as everything was ‘in stock and ready for immediate dispatch’.
• Based on this information I proceeded with the order and paid over £300 in shipping costs and a deposit for the finance. I received an automated email informing me that my order had been acknowledged and I would receive confirmation emails when the order had been processed and shipped.
• 3 days later, after chasing them up, I received confirmation that my order was now processing and given a lead time of 10 days.
• After no updates on my order and waiting nearly 2 weeks I chased up the order again. I was told at this point that they were waiting on stock arriving from their supplier and was given further assurance that my order was included in the shipment (so the equipment was not in stock and ready for immediate dispatch as promised).
• Finally on April 6, 17 days after I placed the order I got through to a member of staff on the phone. He informed me that they had messed up the order and I would not be receiving the goods (My order was not included in the shipment they had been waiting on from their supplier - presumably another lie).
• Following a phone discussion I was told that I would receive a phone call from their sales department the following day to issue a refund. Not surprisingly I never got a call. It took a further 3 days of chasing them up and getting Klarna (the finance company) to raise a dispute on my behalf to finally settle it.
I have now missed out on getting gym equipment as everywhere is sold out. My friends who ordered at the same time as me from other companies all have their kit now and can carry on their training regimes. I realise that demand is high for gym equipment at the moment but it is no excuse not to be transparent and communicate with your paying customers. If you had have done I might have been able to order it elsewhere. The worst part about it is that they have done nothing to rectify it, not even give a genuine apology. Avoid this company at all costs.

This is made difficult by the fact that your review has come from an organic source rather than from a traceable email invitation. It is made even more difficult by the fact that the sale belonging to the reference number you have provided therein (20819) does not match the description you have written in your review.
Obviously, in the interest of confidentiality, I can’t be very specific in sharing details about another person's buying experience. However, one example of the many inconsistencies between your review and the sale belonging to 20819, would be that you mentioned in your review that your order was paid for by finance via Klarna and 20819 paid by a one-time credit/debit card payment. Furthermore, that customer’s name is not Luke. I believe that these two inconsistencies, despite the fact that there are many more, are reason enough to raise questions about your review's validity and ask for more information.
I hope that you will provide me with your actual order number so that I can use your review to improve our service throughout the company.

Due to the ongoing epidemic, delivery companies are not working at their usual speed, this is as much of a frustration to us as it is to our customers. Despite this, and the fact that we have an unprecedented influx of orders in the past two weeks, we are very rarely delivering orders outside of the estimated lead times we originally quote to our customers.
We informed you via email that your goods would be delivered within ten working days. You received your refund six working days after your order was placed. For what it's worth, we shipped out the first batch of the weight sets you bought the day after your cancellation so it would have been delivered two days ahead of schedule if you had continued with your purchase.
I'm very glad to hear that you got sorted with the items that you needed, regardless. I hope you will come back again.
