Patrick originally quoted me for replacement of guttering, facia and soffit boards and roof insulation. However it was quickly obvious that a large proportion of the roof felt had perished and needed to be replaced. We agreed a price and the work was carried out promptly and professionally. Patrick stayed in touch and made sure I was happy with the quality of the work. I am happy to recommend Fix4u for roofing work.

Storm damage to our elderly parents apex area on side of roof , called Patrick for advice came round quickly and immediately made the area safe.

we had to call Patrick because of a leak during storm eunice which was coming through the flashing already installed, they came out within the hour, located the leak and fixed it, Fix4u are a reliable and professional company, their work is first class and I can thoroughly recommend them for all types of building work.

Fix4U came to carry out a complete re-roof of our property. It was December, during the inclement weather and as we have a young family, they agreed to complete the job asap. We were given a fair quote and work started immediately; everything was explained to us. All the work men were punctual, polite, hard working, respectful and regularly kept site clean and tidy. They always had time to explain things if we didn’t understand. Work was carried out in all weathers to complete the job in good time. Communication was great with Patrick, always available for any queries. We are very happy with the end result, it wasn’t just a quick fix, the solution they provided is a low maintenance and using high quality materials. We highly recommend these guys.

Fix 4 U undertook a complete re-rendering and re-roofing works, including installing new gutters, soffits and facias, as well as constructing a new porch, plus tiling, brickwork, plastering, woodwork and adding lintels.

Patrick and his team were never work-shy; they really got stuck in and on occasion worked into some evenings, through a bank holiday, Saturdays as standard and even a Sunday to get the job done. They took a real pride in their work, a hallmark of a good builder that’s not easy to find these days. The completed project is a real testimony to their collective skills.

Brian is an outstanding roofer, Andy ace of all trades and Tom provides solid support. The rendering crew cut no corners to ensure a quality finish. A big thank you, also, to the others who occasionally helped, since I don’t want to miss anyone out.

A close working relationship was encouraged during the project; they provided regular updates and would ask preferences as and when needed. For the hard-to-get-to places in need of work, or unexpected repairs, photographs would be taken and there would be a clear explanation of what needed doing and why. They readily accommodated my own working from home, when conference calls required periods of quiet.

The team were professional, prompt and courteous throughout. Their attention to detail and customer service are particularly commendable, a real breath of fresh air after being let down by several builders over four years (who variously gave no reply, replied then never got back, replied, visited and then went silent). It was worth the growing frustration and four-year wait to find the Fix 4 U team, who are now my ‘go-to’ builders.

Despite the inevitable dust and noise that goes hand-in-hand with such projects, it was a genuine pleasure to have them around. I have already highly recommended them to several people and would happily recommend them to anyone.
