I recently had some work done at Fix…

I recently had some work done at Fix Auto UK on my car’s bumper, license plate, and rear camera and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I dropped off the car, the team kept me updated every step of the way with clear and timely communication. The quality of the work was excellent, everything looks and functions perfectly.

What really impressed me was the attention to detail. Not only was the repair done professionally, but my car was returned spotless, both inside and out. It’s rare to find that level of care and customer service these days.

Friendly Team A1 Repair

The finished repair was A1 and the mechanics we saw were friendly and helpful. They did have the car quite a time but we did get a courtesy car and phone updates which was helpful so all good!

Quality of workmanship superb and took…

Quality of workmanship superb and took control of the job loading with insurers beyond our expectations. The communication on the other hand was extremely poor. Chasing job up was very frustrating and calls diverted between offices lead to extreme frustration

We understand your frustration however on reviewing the communication logs i can see that the repairs were closer to 2 weeks. we called many times through the repair process but mostly had no answer. and despite us informing you at the beginning that you have an excess on your policy, you had not resolved your grievance with the insurer whilst we had your car, at the end of the repairs you refused to pay the excess and even suggested we pay it for you on the basis our driver had "mislead you" you also refused to return our courtesy car, it does seem a little unfair to give us a poor review when your main issue is with your insurer and not wishing to pay your excess, We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our processes.

Poor service and no care for the vehicle

They said a week and took over three due to being down a painter and then a machine down apparently. Received car after chasing several times and looked good on delivery until later I noticed the windows have a film of paint spray all over them.

Make sure you get everything thing in writing

The work they did was fine what I did have a problem with was there communication they picked my car up on a wensday they had it over a week I had to contact them to get a progress report I was told it was ready but they could not deliver it back because the car had a oil leak the car never showed any oil leak that I noticed you would have thought they would have noticed it on the first day I have taken it to a independent garage for them.to check I will make a decision on what action I will take if any I've also had no report on how much the work was witch I will need for the next insurance company

We understand your frustration, i have been through the communication logs, it seems there was a huge delay getting your car to us as previously unreported damage needed to be agreed by the insurance company, it took a lot of time and effort before the insurance company said they would not cover this, as for timescales, a week is considered fairly quick for this type of damage so i could not see a problem there, as for the oil leek, many vehicles over a certain millage can have age related oil leeks and unless we think it may be accident related or adversely affects the vehicle value, we wont necessarily flag it, but it is our policy that if a vehicle has any kind of mechanical issue that we inform the driver and we don't drive it. We strive to provide clear and timely communication to ensure a smooth experience for all our customers, unfortunately we are unable to share costs on insurance repairs though this can be requested from your insurer.

Damage repair to Mercedes EQA…

I was very pleased with the work that had been completed on the car. It was delivered back to me looking like a 'New Car'
Whilst waiting for the work to be done I had the use of a courtesy car which again had been delivered to my home.
There had been a delay in completing the work due I believe to waiting for spare parts. I was kept informed of the delay and all in all a happy experience

Very good experience

Bit tricky to get through on the phone but understandable as it was around Christmas.
The repair was done very quickly and the vehicle was immaculate when it was returned. Very good service overall.

Long, drawn out process to get repair done.

Had to chase to get car booked in for repair - took a month to get a booking.
Once the car was booked in the repair took weeks to complete.
Was without the car for 2 months.

The man who delivered the hire car at…

The man who delivered the hire car at the start was extremely helpful. He showed me how the car worked and set the radio to Radio 4. The man who dropped my car back was equally as helpful. The car was beautifully clean. They were both great guys. Thank you Kirsty Page

alright service

alright service, did what was said and promised. but only flaw was the communication - expected date was pushed back twice and wouldn't be actively told unless we contacted asking how it is going but ultimately the work was finished and done with good expertise. but communication was a flaw

Very poor customer service

The repairs appear to be well done, but the time taken and lack of communication from Fix Auto was unacceptable. My car was perfectly drivable prior to collection by Fix Auto, but it was 11 days before they started work on it. I had to chase to find out what was happening. Then I was called on a Friday to say it was ready except they had found a crack in the rear light assembly. Did I want it back or wait until Monday for them to fit light assembly. Eventually I was called on the following Thursday to say they were delivering the car back - 28 days after they took it in. Insurance company required me to use them for repair, but I wouldn't do it again.

Fix auto delivery driver John is a…

Fix auto delivery driver John is a credit to your company I have to say to he went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs due to having back surgery and the problems It causes me getting in and out of cars he supplied me with a few different courtesy cars to try so I could be as comfortable as possible which was a great help to me. Once the car was repaired John returned my car back to my home address. The car looked great but I noticed that there was a few bits in the paint that wasn’t quite right he assured me that they would be rectified at my convenience. I then arranged for my car to go back to the workshop for the imperfections in the paintwork to be rectified. John made sure he delivered me another courtesy car that was suitable for my needs again. But then from that point onwards that’s when it all started to go wrong I had to then go to the workshop to collect my car to find out that the work hadn’t even been completed and also had the pleasure of meeting Chris who I now know is the owner of the workshop who I found to be quite rude and unhelpful. This then became an ongoing problem for the next couple weeks trying to get the problems with my car resolved. I’d just like to say a big thank you to John for helping as much as he could and apologies for all the phone calls I subjected him to and my lack of empathy for all his hard work he put in and being very respectful and understanding of my needs thank you.
