2004 Land Rover Discovery…
I purchased a 2004 Land Rover Discovery and agreed with Adam to have the vehicle independently inspected with a company Engine 710 Ltd - unfortunately the vehicle was “uneconomical” to repair!! Adam refunded money, as agreed and collected the Land Rover Discovery from Engine 710 Ltd.
Edinburgh Autos Ltd honoured pre agreement completely.
Much appreciated the fair reasonable treatment experience.

The company that fixed my car did a good job of the body work but when I took it straight to a garage for m.o.t. they found one of the spotlights not working luckily they discovered it was just a connector plug was not correctly fitted which they managed to fix otherwise everything else seems OK thanks

A truly terrible experience
A truly terrible experience. I was bounced from AXA to Fix and back again. Fix accepted the job then refused to allow the recovery firm to drop the car in. The result is that my car is still outside my house 16 days after the job was registered. Today they informed me they had no record of my car, the job or any other details. Hopeless.
An update - Fix say they turned down the job because they don’t cover Edinburgh even though they have an Edinburgh repair centre. I’d totally accept that as a (slightly odd) explanation if I hadn’t had a long conversation with someone at Fix on the 16th Dec about the recovery. 9 days after my claim. Still a 1 star experience.
An even stranger thing has occurred now which is Fix Auto being adamant it was not them despite the many phonecalls I had with them and the text confirmation that they had accepted the job. The latest twist is a call yesterday - 7 weeks after the incident and my first call to them - Fix instructed a recovery firm to recover my car. This despite someone in here commenting on my review that it had nothing to do with Fix Auto. They’re also trying to get Trustpilot to remove my review. It’s a very strange way to run their business and merely confirms my 1 star rating.

The curtesy car I had broke down which was not your fault as it was less than a year old. Men who came to my house to pick up and deliver my car were very friendly. Also had to wait for a part coming from Amsterdam-again not your fault the part wasn’t in stock in Britain. Repair seemed like a good job well done

Work done well enough, but took 5 weeks not 7 days as I have been informed before bringing my car to the shop, also for any updates and info I had to chase and call myself.
Customer care really fails in that place.

We always want to ensure that we are giving the best service we can. We are currently operating under challenging circumstances due to staff shortages, global parts delays and long wait times with main dealers.
We had to order additional parts which took 5 days to come and then had to wait almost 3 weeks to have your ADAS Radar calibrated after the repair by the Mercedes main dealer.
I know that the repair time was longer than expected and some of this was out of our control. I will look to improve on this and future communication.
