Avoid…poor customer service when challenged
Arrived today to collect my car after my insurance told me to take it here as an approved centre. Car had a deep scratch and scuff/dent on bonnet, like something had been dropped in it (car only 3 weeks old) that wasn’t there as part of the accident, the jack up points were covered in grime/dirt when I questioned it the manager, I can only assume he was the manager, as he did not introduce himself and had an attitude from the off, he said the marks were wax from the car, which maybe correct, I wanted to make sure no more scratches were under those mark, he made a comment that ‘you must be the expert’ they did wash off and body work was ok but they stated the dents and scratch were there when the car came in, I asked if this was logged and highlighted to the insurance then this should have been fixed, he said they noted it on arrival but wasn’t the area of the accident which is correct but those marks were not there when I left the car. Its been done between between pick up recovery and been taking to their garage for repair. They showed me pictures of their log of the car and the picture didn’t match the area I questioned and looked edited. They refused to email me the images so will be doing a GDPR request for all my data included edited and deleted items. The manager is very aggressive and childish taking the huff and walking off despite having no resolution until I asked what will happen. He wants to contact and claim my insurance to see if they will authorise repair despite this not being part of the accident and caused when not in my care. They wanted me to sign I was satisfied with the car but before that asking me to sign a blank document that I didn’t know what it was for until the lady scrolled back the iPad, I refused to sign it as I wasn’t happy, she said it’s just to say you collected your car, no the document says ‘I’m satisfied’ with the car which I am not. Let’s see if I get a call with an update tomorrow, doubt it. I will contact my insurance suggesting NOT to use them as an approved garage as not professional at all. Funny there was another customer collecting there car and rubbing the same area of their car that was damaged on mine!

Your vehicle was recovered to our site by a recovery agent arranged by your insurance company. Upon arrival, all recovered vehicles are photographed immediately so that we can accurately record both pre-existing and accident-related damage. Please note that all images are time-stamped and cannot be altered.
Our Bodyshop Manager and Workshop Controller previously explained that, due to the recent hot weather, wax can sometimes seep from the drain holes, leaving visible marks. These marks were cleaned to allow you a clear inspection of the underlying panel and to confirm whether any damage was present.
I can confirm that when your vehicle arrived on 29th April, damage to the bonnet was identified and recorded during the check-in process. Based on our assessment, this damage occurred during the recovery of your vehicle. As discussed, we have provided your insurance company with our photographic evidence to demonstrate that the damage was present upon arrival at our site. Your insurer will now liaise directly with the recovery agent, who we believe will also have taken images prior to recovery.
We attempted to contact you earlier today but were unable to reach you; a voicemail has been left. We have now submitted a revised estimate to your insurance company. Please be aware that it can take up to 10 working days for the insurance engineer to review and respond.
We understand your concerns regarding the “satisfactory” note on the documentation. This wording is simply used to confirm that the vehicle was collected from our premises. However, we appreciate your feedback and will review the wording used on this form to prevent any future misunderstanding.

I recently had rear-end bodywork carried out on my Toyota C‑HR by Allied Vehicles, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience from start to finish.
From the outset, Sandra was superb in managing the logistics of the booking. Everything was handled efficiently and clearly, making what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and well organised.
A special thanks also to Cody, who ensured communication throughout was excellent. I was kept fully informed about the booking, progress, and timelines, which gave me real confidence that my car was in good hands.
The quality of the repair work itself is absolutely first‑class. The finish is flawless, with obvious care and attention to detail — the car genuinely looks as good as new. To top it off, the vehicle was washed and cleaned before being returned, which was a really appreciated touch and speaks volumes about the pride taken in their work.
