Express ordered replacement camera…

Express ordered replacement camera glass for my phone so I could recieve it before a holiday, didn't come for 8+ days. Very disappointing. Company refused to refund and would not even return my emails. Poor customer service. Would not buy from this company again.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Hope you had a good trip.

We’d like to clarify a few points. Your order was placed on 26 April and delivered on 1 May, which is a 5-day delivery timeframe, not “8+ days” as stated. The parcel was sent via Australia Post Express as selected. While we dispatch promptly, delivery timeframes are managed by Australia Post and are outside of our control.

We also did not refuse to respond to your emails. In fact, we replied to you outside our usual trading hours (at 9pm) to provide an update, including informing you of an unexpected medical incident involving the delivery driver, which contributed to the delay. We shared this purely for transparency.

Regarding the refund — we did not refuse it. We asked for the item to be returned first, which is a standard process. Requesting a refund while keeping the product is not something we can accommodate.

We understand delays can be frustrating, however, starting with threats rather than working through the process makes it difficult to reach a reasonable outcome.

We’re a small business and always try to resolve matters fairly. If you would like to discuss a resolution further, please feel free to contact us directly — we’re open to working through this with you.

After a misunderstanding

After a misunderstanding caused by the equipment I used, the support I received to solve my issue was outstanding. They worked out what caused the problem and went Above And Beyond to make me a HAPPY customer. I would definitely buy again from fixo.com.au

Disjointed communication, unhelpful buy better quality products else where

I recently emailed photo evidence of a potential issue with the BQ7 OLED screen replacement of my iPhone to Fixo. They replied swiftly and informed me that it appeared faulty and advised me to visit the Brisbane store for testing with another screen.

Upon arrival at the store, I found that no one was aware of the issue. Although they located my email, they were neither interested in nor willing to test another screen. Instead, they claimed that all screens looked similar to the one I had and dismissed my concerns all without conducting any tests or comparisons as promised. The individual mentioned in another one-star review here was dismissive, insisted all aftermarket screens look like this, and asserted that it was a close match to the original OEM screen. He said i can return it (within 15 days) but there is a restocking fee which he was unaware of exactly how much and to refer to the website. I couldn't see the fee on the website.

He was nice enough to "wish me all the best" as I left.

I have posted photos of the screen on another popular forum where all agree the screen looks either faulty or of very poor quality.

To add their mobile phone toolkit is of very poor quality, cheap plastic handles, which are moulded
badly.

1. Warranty & condition of the screen
To clarify upfront, the screen was found to have physical damage upon inspection, which we have documented and shared with you via photos. This is why each screen is supplied with a warranty void sticker, and we strongly recommend performing a full test before final installation. Once installed, there is a higher risk of damage during the process, which is why warranty coverage becomes limited. During your visit, we did offer you the option of a refund before the screen was separated, however you chose not to proceed at that time.

Regarding the restocking fee, it varies depending on the payment method due to non-refundable transaction fees charged by our payment provider. We’re always happy to confirm the exact amount when contacted directly. Again, the Brisbane location is a collection hub only and is not set up to process refunds or handle return assessments on the spot, as these are managed through our online system.

2. Soft OLED product information
Thanks for your feedback — you are the first customer to raise this type of concern with the Soft OLED screen, particularly regarding colour differences at very low brightness levels. The screen you purchased is an aftermarket product. Matching the exact colour tone and brightness of an original Apple display requires Apple’s proprietary calibration hardware and software, which is not accessible to third-party manufacturers.

At the price point offered, achieving a true OEM-level match — particularly at very low brightness — is not realistically possible. Among Australian-based suppliers, our pricing is highly competitive, with lower-priced alternatives typically coming from overseas marketplaces (such as AliExpress) without local warranty or support.

3. Toolkit quality
The toolkit you purchased is an entry-level kit, designed for general DIY use and beginners. While it may not compare to professional-grade tools, it is suitable for standard repair tasks. For customers requiring higher-end tools, we do offer more premium options at a higher price point.

Good service and packaging

Grabbed a 12 Pro battery and adhesive, came packed real tidy, nothing dodgy. Quality’s spot on, fit like a glove, and my phone’s running like new. Bloody good service too. Keen to order again.

Great Service

I ordered a replacement battery from Fixo but unfortunately Cyclone Alfred struck and getting it to Sydney was going to take a little longer than I would have liked.

At a difficult time for a them, Fixo's team organised a quick refund and gave me some great advice on things to look for when ordering, to ensure that I got a genuine Samsung battery. They even emailed me a day later to let me know that they had stock, just in case I hadn't found one yet.

I can tell you as someone who didn't buy from Fixo this time, their service was excellent and I'll definitely look to buy from them the next time I need phone parts.

Was really happily surprised when I…

Was really happily surprised when I found Fixo had included the waterproof gasket along with my screen and battery order for my son’s phone. I’d completely forgotten about, didn’t even think about it and then when I opened the box I saw it along with a little note saying they knew I’d need it so put it in. Great company to deal with.

Fixo plays a vital role in supplying our repair shops with good quality parts that we can always count on to be tested and of the described quality. Partially we find Fixo very useful for the supply of Google Pixel screens and Samsung Service pack screens.
