Good management, OK contractors
We have been renting with FJL for about a year now and it has generally been good bar some of the miscommunication that has happened when we've needed a fix/inquiry in the property. We have specifically dealt with Jean and she has been great and been proactive with the requests made and makes sure to follow up, the downside is that some contractors that they send are hit and miss in terms of resolving the problem and them needing to come back etc.

Really underwhelming experience
Really underwhelming experience. Phoned to try to arrange a valuation, the person on the phone was abrupt and had lots of unnecessary questions. Valuation then booked and the agent didn't turn up and they never followed up.

Just liars and typical sales tactics!
They advertise properties at one price and give a sales pitch about the landlord accepting profiles however just go with the highest offer. I went to view a property that I fell in love with and put in a significantly high offer which was accepted straight away. After getting miscommunication about the bills, I reduced my offer at the sales agents advice and the landlord accepted the next highest offer. The sales agents do not call you back when it has no benefit to them and the advice they give on properties are incorrect! Very disappointed as I lost out on a wonderful property.

Hi Jessica, thank you for leaving a review - sorry your experience wasn't more positive. Unfortunately, the final decision is with the landlord, not with us. This property had multiple viewings and multiple offers.
Your offer was provisionally accepted but as mentioned, you reduced your offer. After considering all their options, the landlord proceeded with another offer. We can assure you this was not based on the highest offer, the landlord did not want to go back and forth seeking higher offers.

Unethical Bullies.
I'm a landlord who had a terrible experience, so I can completely understand the tenants reviews on here.
The first tenants moved out because they defaulted on the rent. They contacted Bow Office on multiple occasions to give back the keys and no-one got back to them. The Branch Partner David Greenslade had told me I needed to take out their insurance to cover tenants defaulting rent, but he never put in a claim (even though he writes he had claimed).
After the second lot of tenants were found. We agreed in writing that I did not wish them to manage the property nor should they take any management fees.
But they still took fees and did this for the whole tenancy. I said I didn't want the insurance it's a scam again they just ignored me and continued to take the money.
They told me just one tenant would be living there and I reduced the rent, but a husband and wife lived there.
I emailed customer relations on so many occasions and no-one very got back to me.
The area manager Anthony Szabo is a serious bully.
They seem so desperate to make money unlawfully.
We must all continue NOT to use this company.
Following up to your response the customer relations team were written to more times than I can remember.
Not a single email was responded to. You have no interest in anything other than making money.
Actually it is truly scary.
