I had an awesome experience when I booked Flatpackmates for furniture assembly. The assemblers called before arrival, and arrived right on the scheduled time. They were polite, attentive and efficient. The job was done much faster than the expected time. Would definitely use them again, and recommend!
Used this service to get furniture picked up from ikea, delivered and assembled. 'Estimate' was completely inaccurate, I was charged more than twice the quoted amount even though I specifically requested that they only assemble what they can in the quoted time. They arrived 5 hours after the agreed appointment (booked for 14:00, took afternoon off work, they arrived at 19:00), during which time they refused to answer all calls and didn't respond to emails. They damaged the wall and ceiling when assembling the furniture. I have called and emailed several times since to get a refund for the overcharge and compensation for the damage with no luck. Their speedy customer service stops the minute they have your bank details. My case has supposedly been referred to the complaints team, but 2 months later, I am still overcharged and my wall and ceiling are still damaged. Awful service, I really really recommend finding an alternative!
Never turned up. Failed to return multiple calls. Cost me a day off work. Awful, awful company. They also lied about trying to contact me, lied about the process, utterly despicable.

The next time I decided to search for another company and hired Flat pack mates. They collected my items from IKEA, delivered them to my place and assembled them very fast. Great service and excellent value for money. Would recommend to anyone.
