Dr Belinda Griffiths really is an outstanding doctor- highly knowledgeable and extremely kind and empathetic. I visited her recently with my elderly Mother. Dr Belinda immediately put her at ease and listened carefully as my Mother described her symptoms. She then examined mum with great care and kindness before prescribing a medication which quickly helped my Mother to feel better very quickly. When I had to return later the same week ( with a different issue!) Dr Belinda was again extremely kind and explained the medical issue in detail, answering all my questions patiently. Knowing how anxious I had been Dr Belinda sent the test results through incredibly promptly and with a reassuring note. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to see Dr Griffiths whenever I need a doctor's appointment .

Clear and honest advice. I initially found it a bit annoying that you have to book a consultation before getting a vaccine, but actually I was advised that it was not necessary to get a rabies a vaccine. Which actually was the conclusion that I had tentatively come to myself from reading about it. I only went because my Mum was worrying un-necessarily.
So they're not trying to sell you something you don't need.

I am posting this to warn other parents.
I booked a private flu vaccination appointment for my 8-month-old baby and I was very clear that we required the cell-based influenza vaccine, consistent with the vaccine used for her first dose. This was explicitly stated multiple times during booking and confirmed by the receptionist.
At the appointment, my wife again asked that the vaccine given be the same as the first dose. No clarification or discussion of vaccine type took place before administration.
After the appointment, the invoice revealed that the standard egg-based vaccine had been given instead, at a lower price. This was the first indication that the wrong product had been administered.
Following a phone call with the clinic after the discovery, the head nurse acknowledged human error on their behalf. More specifically:
- The appointment had been wrongly booked by reception.
- The administering nurse did not check which vaccine had been used previously, nor did she discuss vaccine options prior to administration.
We were then offered the option to “have another cell-based dose,” which is clinically inappropriate and concerning advice.
Although there was no medical harm, this remains a serious breach of consent and basic vaccine safety checks, especially in a private, premium-priced clinic. The absence of management follow-up and the suggestion to administer an additional dose only compound our concerns.
Parents should be aware and ensure explicit verification of vaccine type before any vaccine is administered.

I required a medical for work I do for a charitable organisation. The medical was arranged and then re-arranged. The day before I get a text message telling me to come at a different time. I travel to London (2 hours and £50 - and arrive slightly early for the time stated in the text. I'm then told that I've got the time wrong and have missed my appointment.
I explain this situation and show them the message. There was no real attempt to help and I was dismissed. Complete waste of a day.
Reading the reviews - these types of places are fine if you have deep pockets and minor medical issues. The prices are eye-watering! Anything else - and they drop you (back to the NHS) very quickly.
They acknowledged my complaint and apologised via e-mail. This earnt them a star back.
They then had the cheek to bill the charity for my appointment. I think this demonstrates where their priorities are...
Have used Fleet Street Clinic a couple of times for GP services, most recently this month. The team from Reception to the GPs themselves are professional, do not rush and provide sufficient time for diagnosis and treatment discussion. I can’t fault any element of the service. They deserve more than 5 stars.

Neelam Mohamed was most welcoming and thorough when I had an eye examination on 4 February 2025 at Whitby and Co. I left feeling reassured about the health of my eyes. Maryam took over to deal with the next stage, warmly and efficiently. She made sure that my lenses were delivered quickly so that she could create the final version of my new specs in time for me to collect them before I had to set off on a journey. She let me know as soon as they were ready for collection. The specs are great! Many thanks both. I've been a client of Gillian Whitby for many years and will continue to be.

I went to Fleet Street Clinic to get the rabies vaccine and it was a great service! The jabs were the cheapest I could find around London but the clinic was really clean and professional. Would recommend to come here for travel vaccines!

I booked an appointment to get a Dengue fever vaccination based on the information provided on the website. When I arrived at my appointment, it was explained that under UK medical guidance the vaccination could not be recommended for me. This could easily have been explained on the website t9 save me the cost of the appointment.
The dr then asked if there were any other vaccination I might need. We identified that I probably was over 3 years for typhoid, but I did not know. She gave me the vaccination. At no point was I given the price. I assumed it was free after me not getting the Dengue jab and having had to pay for a pointless appointment. I was then sent a bill for £47, for a vaccination I didn’t really need. This was miss selling. I am very surprised that I was not asked to pay when I was at the clinic. I can only conclude that it was because the dr felt very uncomfortable about miss selling the vaccinations.

The stitches were removed very quickly and professionally. The nurse was very calm and approachable and made the whole experience really pleasant. It was also my first time having this type of procedure in the UK, so I was a little apprehensive, but there was no need to be!
