My husband, Finish born and bred, had no idea what a 'verotunnus' is. Looked at old tax forms and could find no such term. Writing this o my husband's behalj.

you did not, unfortunately, provide an order number so that I can look into the case, but must already say that we clearly suggest that we are working in accordance to the airline rules when it comes to changing or cancelling the tickets.
The price is always explained even in the offer, as it cannot be general. For every change the gap in prices is different, for instance.

Total b*lls**t, BE AWARE!

Total b*lls**t! I made a reservation from Helsinki to Denpasar via Dubai. Made a payment in full during the reservation, 1202€.

When I went to the airport for check in, I was demanded to pay extra 340€!!! When I informed Flightfinder this, demanding explanation and refund (I sent them a copy of receipt), they just did not answer anything.

I will take this case to European Customer Complaints-organisation!

NEVER EVER WILL I USE THIS SITE AGAIN! SCAMMING AND BETRAYING CUSTOMERS!

As been explained in your case, we could not know why the airline took extra payment from you at the airport. After some negotiations they admit the misunderstanding and we will let you know as soon as only possible on the result.

Generally must explain that any ticket which is a subject of the schedule change in most cases is re-booked to the alternative given by the carrier without any cost which applies directly from the airline.

Otherwise we have been following your case all the way and will continue as mentioned.

THEY CANCEL and then THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY to finance themselves.

I made reservation, the money was debited from my paypal account and the reservation was confirmed.

A few hours later, I received an email saying that they suspected fraud and THEY DECIDED TO CANCEL.
24 hours later, they are saying that IT WILL TAKE THEM 3 DAYS TO REFUND they money they have taking from me (although paypal refunds are immediate)

It seems that the way they finance themselves is by taking your money, then cancelling and then a very very slow refund.

On top of that, the phone numbers they informed on their websites do not work (I tried all the phone numbers of all the countries), and answers on their internet customer service takes a lot of time, do not answer the questions and never give a solution.

In summary: awful service, cancel against the will of the client, and keeping your money for many days.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

the ticket was canceled due to possible fraud. Unfortunately, but an IP address did not match with the exit destination. The case is canceled as soon as the system synchronizes information and finds inconsistencies.
These are basic safety rules and cannot be affected by us, as such actions are dictated by global fraud prevention.

CANCELLED BY THEM AND NO REFUND!

Booked a return flight with them and due to unfortunately missing my outward flight, they have just cancelled the return, with NO
NOTIFICATION, no information provided, no refund, no explanation, no assistance at all! Luckily i checked my booking just 2 days before departure and guess what?! I find my booking being cancelled!
Working in tourism industry, I perfectly know that when you cancel a prepaid and confirmed service, against customer's will, you eventually refund the fee. Well, guess what? Not here!
Awful customer service! They took and kept my money for 2 trips, delivered none, and refuse to pay back for what THEY have cancelled. Absolutely unjustified and without any logic!
AVOID this company and its affiliates!

the situation you are describing is called a sequence of coupons, and, must be strictly followed, in order not to get the flights cancelled.
This is each customer own responsibility to follow and has nothing with the agency to do.
Internationally the airline sells only the tickets as whole and not parts of it. Therefore if customer fails to follow the order, the carrier is cancelling the rest of the flight, after the unused part.
In case you are working in the tourism industry, this shall be more than clear to you. Also, you should suggest your customers get in touch with the agent, before the planning skip of the flight, or right after, as some of the airlines offer the change, even due noshow.
This would prevent the unwilling cancellation.
We are sorry to hear on the event, but thank you for bringing this up, as this gives us the opportunity to explain basic rules publicly.
Get back to us for refund of possible taxes, if you have not done that before.

Immediate Support Needed

Hi, I have booked a flight ticket from India to Helsinki, Finland. My connected flight is from Moscow and the flight that flightfinder is booked for me is in the gap of only 30 minutes which is impossible for an international connecting flight. Could you please provide support and contact details who can help me to check another flight, I am already fed up by contacting the support team who is not responding to my calls. Also would be helpful if you could provide me with the customer service contact number who could pick my call and answer. Right now I am INDIA and my flight is tomorrow morning i.e. 25th November from New Delhi, so request for a quick support from your side, please.

The responses you got were very regular and fast, but, unfortunately, you did not responded in time disregard our attempts.

Here must also underline that Flightfinder is an online travel agency and as per today offers fast communicative solutions. Our customer support team is there for you the whole day, late in the evenings, weekends and holidays.

Otherwise must remind that your ticket has been a subject to a schedule change which is not up to any travel agency to invent.

In our reservation rules, which is up to you to go through, involuntary change situation is clearly defined. Unfortunately, but no travel agency can neither foresee nor, accordingly, prevent this matter. Our mission in the mentioned event is to inform our passengers on the changes and help with re-issuance in terms of the airline allowance.

In the mentioned reservationary regulation we also inform on service packages sufficient for each provided servicing. This, however, is your free choice as can be done with the airline directly.

Must underline that any solution we offer our customers is based on the airline allowance and capacity. Unfortunately schedule change fact does not provide you with opportunity to choose a flight or even a refund, as, again, this is subordinated by the carrier.

Anyhow, we thank you for your meaning in the connection with the matter.

Few hours to our flight, still no tickets or booking number to do the check in online. Sent few emails to them, still no answer.

This is a robotic process, but our customer support team is there to re-sent the documentation in case you request it.

As per today we offer our customers best technical and communicative solutions. Each customer got own personal cabinet which is designed to reach the support in a shortest time and most efficient way. Unfortunately, I do not see that you got contacted us in a matter.

Never got the documents

The price was different than in the promotion and I never got the flight documents! I found a small print (a line in my email) a flight-company specific reservation number, and then checked in the flight-company page that I actually have tickets!! Never again!

Must say that one of our greatest values is transparency of the rules and prices. Our customers are getting informational system messages all the way from the begging of the reservation. An invoice is sent to you right after the order is completed along with that we warn you to check the price before you pay.

The travel documents are sent to the customer automatically after the robot detects the payment. However, our customer support is there for you to re-sent all the necessary informational mails and answer the unclear questions.

As per now we provide all the modern communicative solutions and you got all the possibilities to contact us through your personal page, but, unfortunately did not.

However, we appreciate any rating as it helps us to explain the essentials publicly and monitor our daily performance!

Not enough information about the actual flights when you book. For example: it was quite a surprise that the luggage was not included. And no mention about that while booking. Fair? NOT.

Due to there are thousands of different combinations on our web site, the combination which gives the luggage is identified at the end of the booking - when it is completed, in other words. Our customer support is therefore there for you to detect the existence of the checked in bags even in the booking process. That is - before the payment.

As per today our technical and communicative solutions allow you to even pre-book an extra luggage, where the airline does not restrict us.

Therefore do not hesitate to contact us again, in case of any other questions.

Must explain here that the luggage is a matter which can be arranged either with us or carrier directly, however, the time frame of doing such can differ. This would depend on the certain allowances which, again, are given by the airline to the agency.

Any travel agency is a substatory part of the entire travel business and can act only upon the agreement and allowances from the respective airline.
