Please Read

Please Read, be aware there cancelation policy are not what as advertised. Although when booking cancelation policy identifies full refund &premium coverage cost $280 Cdn. This is not true, flighthub using a Third party company who can determine if they give your refund or not.

It is not something that is close to guaranteed. I bought this coverage because I knew my family member was not well. When I went to go change to earlier flight because needed to be there sooner. They advised me they cannot guaranteed me cancelation & in order to make decision I had provide all personal medical records. It was family emergency & it got denied until pending medical records. They wanted to see the whole file of all personal documents of terminal ill person. Even if you need to attend quickly you have to wait on them.

When brought this up to flight hub they said you should read terms and conditions. I had to pay $650 additional to change my flight in order to leave.

Also I found a flight to change to but after searching up the flight & asking for the exact flight to change. Flight hub up charged me a higher cost for price difference compared to what is searched.

For example the flight i was able to search as wanting to book was $2015 but flight up told me that those rates don't apply when you are modifying a booking although it the exact flight details. Then charged me additional $300 higher. Although I shared my full concern they told me nothing we can do & this my only option.

It cost me in end 1000 more than if I had just waited to book the flight. Please be aware of this and protect yourself!

Where are my e-tickets?

I booked tickets to Egypt 3 days ago and I received an immediate confirmation number - but still no e-tickets. I wanted to pick my seats ahead of time, but prices were outrageous. I tried calling their toll-free number as well as their chatbot, but all I got were endless menus and algorithms that got me nowhere. Buyer beware...

Checked bag extra charges

FlightHub can be deceptive when booking domestic flights to Canada. If you opt to purchase a checked bag while booking, the price will be higher compared to not purchasing one. Initially, FlightHub will show you the airline's policy for checked bags, indicating that you have bought one. However, once you receive your tickets after 24-72 hours, the checked bag will not be included. At that point, FlightHub will ask you to pay extra for the checked bag.

In conclusion, when buying tickets through FlightHub, do not purchase a checked bag from them. Instead, add the checked bag directly through the airline once you receive your final ticket.

Absolute scam -Do not book with this company

Absolute scam. I paid for the ticket, and the webpage said I would receive a confirmation email with all the details. I didn't receive any confirmation to my email. Tried repeatedly to contact them via their website contact options. All options directed me to a bot which keeps asking me for a confirmation number which I obviously don't have because I didn't receive the email in the first place. No option to speak to an agent. Same story on the phone line. I eventually got through to a human being by going through the option to book a new flight over the phone. Once I got through the first lady said she would transfer me to the correct department, put me on hold and this directed me straight to the same automated menu from the start. Repeated this with another agent so then I ended up booking new tickets directly with the airline.

BEWARE of their cancellation and change fees! My daughter got very sick and we were informed to get a doctor's note. Once we did, they refused to consider it. Also they had hidden additional change fees. What a waste of my time and money. I will never use them again.

Where is my refund

Hi There,

This is my very first experience with flighthub, it has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Once they take your money, you can’t get a live person to talk to in case there is a problem. Even the automated system will hang up on you as soon as you enter your booking details. All the different phone numbers I was given go dead and don’t provide any information. The worst case scenario is when you request your money back. Please see how this company debits my bank account for these unnecessary fees and refuse to refund me and doesn’t want to talk to me, even blocks my emails to them!

I’m writing to bring your attention to the fact that one booking was canceled just minutes after it happened and was replaced with the second one. At this time, both bookings are showing confirmed, ticketed for the same period of travel. Since you said the booking 255733651 was already canceled and the refund is processed, I am still waiting to see the funds in my bank account. If I canceled one booking on May 25th and I have to wait until July 20th to have the money back, I don’t think this is a good experience! And once you take the money, there is no live person to talk to. Even the automated system would hang up on you as soon as the booking number is entered.
And I hope I will not have any problem on the departure date with two (2) separate tickets numbers in my name.

NB: How can you issue 2 tickets for the same person flying on the same days and on the same plane?
You can see that the first booking (255733651) was canceled just minutes after the booking and replaced with the second one (255382321)! Can you please cancel one ticket and refund the money?
I do not see why should I wait 2 months to be refunded the 1,092.97 for the canceled booking?
You indicated the refund was processed but the money never made it to my account! I am expecting to be refunded for the flight protection fees ( 67.81, 32.94, 19.99 x2) that I never requested.

Best,

Edith Aglebe

"Please avoid using Flighthub for…

"Please avoid using Flighthub for booking flights; their service is subpar. It's better to book directly with the airline. Once you've booked, they offer no phone support—any issues must be handled via text or online chat, which is quite frustrating. After payment is processed, changes are nearly impossible, and you're often met with unhelpful responses. Overall, it leads to a very disappointing customer service experience."

Flight cancelled, no acceptable replacement offered.

We were supposed to make a trip from Montreal to Mauritius via London, from May 18 to May 28, 2024.

Our return flight was cancelled and FlightHub is not offering any acceptable replacement measures.

The total flight time is 52 hours (flight + layover), and the only measures proposed by the agent were either to return on the 25th (after just 4 and a half days at the destination) or on June 6th (wow 9 days after our vacations).

No other measures were proposed to satisfy us, not even the Mauritius-Montreal return trip via Paris - where there were available flights on our return day.

Despite a 5 million penalty in 2021 by the Canadian Competition Bureau (search Flighthub + competition bureau to read the article), FlightHub continues to disrespect its customers, particularly regarding:

“FlightHub gave the impression that consumers had greater rights related to flight cancellation and reservation changes than they actually did.”

We realized that even after this lawsuit, no concrete action is taken by FlightHub to find a replacement flight for its customers in the event of an airline cancellation.

Furthermore, the refund of our trip should take 4-6 weeks. No respectable company that respects its customers should allow itself to mock people like this. The cancellation is not our fault, we should not have to bear the costs (monetary and otherwise) of your poor customer management.

I cannot connect to a person

I cannot connect to a person! I need to change my flight and the only person I got to speak to refused to help. Chat doesn't help because it's AI. I have not taken the flight yet and it's an extremely disgusting experience so far. The line hangs up because my lfight is not within 72 hours. What a joke this company is!

Useless reps and misleading prices

Trying to rebook a flight originally scheduled for April 20. I was looking between Mar 1-12 to resched the flight. Was able to book, then all of a sudden there’s a price increase. They cancelled my booking and told me to pay more. The price at check out should be what consumers are paying for, not with flight hub. They even charged me $200 for their service which i didnt get the service! Misleading and falsely advertised flights. Scammers! So I picked a different date, the rep told me that EVA has no available seats between Mar 5-10 which was a lie. I dont know who hired these people. I contacted EVA and there are flights available, all they need to do is rebook me but they wont unless i pay more (Im already paying for the flight difference, airline penalty and $200 flight hub service charge). If there’s a 0 review, thats what they’re gonna get. So I was able to rebook, checked my online banking and they charged twice for the rebooking of the same flight. Consumer bureau should take a look at this company.

DETAILED WARNING

My complaint to Flighthub is also a fair Warning to anyone reading, that is about to book with Flighthub.

Your booking can be fine if you don't make any slight mistake and read every single pages of their subtile policies. because you will be turned down and will not see a penny again.

This week contrary to past times I booked with them,
I made a search to Depart from YUL Montreal Airport, I specify YUL so that I do not get other nearby airports or cities.

This week like many travelers, I had to leave to Colombia for a Family Urgency,
I had to do everything so fast,
That when the results for the YUL search came up I saw flights departing from YUL and expensive too, and then popped a good price, I am rushing so I chose the good price quickly, looked at luggage options, passed the payment, received the ticket, and ran to my errands.
I acted fast and gave "A BIT OF MY TRUST" to Flighthub. (That was my Mistake to Trust them"

The next day as I'm all ready and set to travel the next morning, I receive a Delta Airline SMS saying my flight is leaving late, and DEPARTING from BTV ? BURLIGTON INT AIRPORT VERMONT USA.

How Can a search result specified YUL Airport Montreal Canada with YUL departures, did appear in results a BTV Vermont USA hours drive away ?!?

I called FLIGHTHUB in Panic and like usual, they answer only in Call Centers in foreign Countries with employees who answer Systematically what is on their screens.
That was the day after booking and the day before Departure. I cried for help, I'm a small wage working class man who buys a Ticket with my humble economy and Credit.
I was told it's just too bad, there is no refund, and a switch to depart from my YUL Airport would cost some 500$ extra charge,
Delta Airline was the same and told me it was Flighthub's Responsibility.

Yesterday I saw all my Flights in SMS notifications, leaving one after the other while being Stuck here in Montreal in a state of Emergency.

Today, an Investigation person from Flighthub, Ann Eissa, she called herself, called me just to arrogantly push me off saying all this is too bad if I resume, while Interupting me everytime I tried to speak and repeating systematically and mockingly the same thing. She even stated; your flights already left in a No Show, but I reached out the day before and barely a day after Booking.

I understand that in a legal way, they are logically right, and can wash their hands.
But this is the sad part of those industries, They do everything to Legally Trap people and end up taking all their hard earned money without being brought into Account.

With Milions of Population falling in the cracks, they make milions of dollars or more in their year.

Even though for the majority of us that live off wages, and that those companies offer better prices, They Are Dangerous Sharks that set Legal Traps everywhere ON PURPOSE and they hire Intl Call Center who are ignorant and powerless to help or Compensate nor deal with the Outcomes
So they do not have to face and take Responsability. And are practically impossible to bring to accountability.

I call out for any help and solutions.
For myself I'm stuck in Mtl trying to find resources to buy another way home South.

Thank you to anyone who will be able to bring one of those Shark Companies into Account

Had to cancel a flight recently

Had to cancel a flight recently. Had purchased the extra cancellation insurance of $200 dollars. When attempting to cancel, even with this insurance, they would not refund me my total as it was restricted by the airline itself. They offered me an air line credit for the value of my ticket, BUT wanted to charge another $200 in administration fees per person. I called the air line directly and the cancellation fee is actually $150 per person. Simple math shows that they con you out of this insurance of $200 PLUS try to ring you for another $100 to make a call that i made on my own. ON TOP of this, they also told me that the return flight airline does not offer a credit or refund at all! I called that airline directly and was helped by great reps that gave me a credit for the full ticket with ZERO admin or cancellation fees. Serves me right for using a middle man. Terrible service. Take the time and book flights yourself through the air lines, lesson learned.
