Support is pretty poor.

You may get a good deal on your energy, but the with regards to first impressions on the company, my one was pretty poor.
Signing up to Flipper I thought all the stuff will be done for me (which is why £30 was not too bad for the year). Instead I was getting harassed by my previous energy supplier on paying the last bill. When I contacted flipper, they told me they will sort it out. I then contacted them again a week later and was told I need to clear the final bill directly.
The left and right hands really dont know what they are doing in this place.

I might now just look myself for the cheapest supplier and do my own switches, but will give them another chance to prove themselves worthy.

As discussed over the phone, I am very sorry that you were not given all the accurate information in terms of what to expect after we switch your supplier. Whilst we will take care of the switch itself and create a new online account for you, there are some things that the supplier will have to settle with you directly such as final bills. Final bills are created six weeks after you leave the supply and if you are in a positive balance, your supplier will send you a refund, if you are in a negative balance, you will be required to make a final payment to close the account. We are unable to settle any final bills on your behalf.

I am pleased that we got the opportunity to discuss exactly what we can and what we can not do on your behalf so that you are always aware of what to expect going forward.

We will carry on searching the market for you for the best deals on the market and hopefully, we can start fresh.

I was just so pleased to have someone…

I was just so pleased to have someone do the switching for me. I am 81 years young with a husband who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2016 and Lewy Body Dementia in 2019 and has deteriorated rapidly. So thank you Flipper you are a godsend. Very efficient, kept me up dated every step of the way and the whole process was seamless.
Would definitely recommend you.

Contacting Flipper is a nightmare

Contacting Flipper is still nightmare. However they have now fixed the issue with submitting meter reading via the internet.

Flipper help when you need it

Had to have a new meter. Flipper have handled this for me with the provider. It's been a great help as the provider has to be pushed to get the matter sorted.
Still one little matter to resolve but Flipper are on the case.

They dont like you leaving

flipper have flipped a couple of times, now I want to leave them. Unable to cancel through their website so forced to wait 18 minutes to speak with Matt who was poilte but very pushy in attempting to disuade me from leaving. After asking for confirmation of leaving by email phone was cut without so much as a goodbye

Great service
