THEY LIED AND STOLE OUR MONEY AND TIME
Me and my friend were left stranded in Venice, causing a huge loss of money and time. Our ticket said that the bus leaves from stop C4 but in reality it left from several stops away from the location written in the ticket.
Their agent then lied that the bus left from C4, even though we had picture evidence of being at C4 15 minutes before departure. She offers 15 euros as a refund which we never got.
We then had to book a new bus to another city which we can prove left from another location than stated in the ticket, but luckily we made it. We also had to pay a hotel for the night and two more tickets for an early morning bus. None of these were offered to be refunded. Instead they lied that their radar shows the busses left from C4 and that our videos are useless.
They opened several incidents, but for months we didn't hear from them. Every time we tried to talk through their chat, they offered 0.98 cents, and when we asked about the 15 euros and incident numbers from the cases or to talk to someone else, they just closed the chat.
We are sending the screen shots, screen recordings as well as videos and pictures of our failed departures to the authorities, as flixbus is evidently unwilling to solve the issues.

FlixBus abandoned me overnight and refused to refund extra costs!
I missed my bus connection in Milan due to FlixBus’s delay, and upon reaching Milan at 8:20 pm, I was assigned the next leg at 3:00 am. Being an international student, Milan was a new place for me and seeing the condition of the bus stop I panicked as I had nowhere else to go. I approached their customer representative who gave me false information about available seats on another bus. I was asked to arrange other means of transport via another bus service or second class train. However, when I looked for seats in that bus via Flix app, I found seat in it and was forced to buy a new ticket worth €36.98 because they refused to help. I went under extreme stress to the next station from where that bus was leaving as I knew nothing of Milan and its public transport’s operating times. Finally, I reached my destination at 2:30 am when no public bus was operational and I had to take a taxi to reach my accommodation. Had not been this delay happened, I would have reached my destination at 10 pm and taken a public transport. Moreover, later I came to know that I was eligible to assistance under EU Regulation 181/2011 on Passenger Rights: Since my trip was over 250 km, I was entitled to assistance, including accommodation, when delays result in missed connections. But I was not informed either in the leg reassignment email or by the customer representative. If I had been informed in the first place, I would have not panicked and travelled at night.
As an international student in a new city, I was left stranded at night in unsafe conditions. After 10+ days of emails, FlixBus is ignoring my rightful refund request. They’re not understanding my situation and refunding me only the ticket cost of 36.98 €, ignoring the amount of stress given to me and all additional costs. I only asked to provide me the refund of my taxi worth 20€ too, but they are ignoring again and again stating it’s not in their policy. But they didn’t even follow their policy and informed me of my right to assistance in the first place. What policy do they follow? I feel I have been treated extremely unfairly. The amount of time I have wasted and the frustration. For them these 20€ maybe nothing but for me it’s my hard earned money.
What was my fault in all this?? That I chose Flixbus to travel? Never ever gonna use it again.

The departure from the shopping mall of Civitanova instead of the city center like before is very unconvenient from my point of view. Quite far to reach the shopping mall and it's very far too from the railway station. So you can't change means of trasportation to come back home.

False Advertising & Terrible Service – No Power, No Restroom on a 12-Hour Trip!
I took a FlixBus from Frankfurt to Milan, expecting a comfortable journey based on their advertised amenities. However, the reality was completely unacceptable:
❌ No power sockets or USB charging ports despite them being listed as available.
❌ No restroom on a direct 12+ hour trip – completely unreasonable and borderline inhumane.
❌ No scheduled bathroom breaks – passengers were left stranded without basic facilities.
❌ FlixBus support gave a generic response with no resolution or compensation offered.
This is false advertising and a serious failure in service. Long-haul trips must have proper facilities, and passengers should get what they pay for.
I contacted customer service, but they simply "reported it to quality managers" with no actual resolution. This lack of accountability is unacceptable.
If you're considering booking with FlixBus, beware—what they promise and what you get may be two completely different things. I strongly recommend looking for alternative options.
I will be escalating this complaint to European consumer protection authorities. Companies should not be allowed to mislead customers and get away with providing substandard service.

Sometimes late but otherwise reliable
Sometimes late, but almost always reliable. I manage to arrive at my destination every time (the same cannot be said of some alternatives). I remember an occasion where my Itabus had an accident near Rome, and the company didn't even warn us of an expected delay. When the FlixBus driver heard this (and I to this day do not know how this wonderful man with long, greasy hair was able to) made us all board his own bus so that we could get to Bologna and continue our respective journeys without having to throw away the plane/bus/train tickets we'd bought.

I appreciate the (almost) serenity
In Flixbus trips I appreciate the tranquility, the dim lighting in the evening, which allows for sleeping if necessary, the presence of a tidy toilet, and the Wi-Fi, which is generally acceptable. When the bus is not one of the official Flixbus vehicles, the standard drops a little.
Punctuality is acceptable, with some exceptions.
The only downside is sometimes some passengers keep their phone volume high or make noisy phone calls. In the most extreme cases, anyway, the Flixbus staff intervenes.
