Rang to check the stock availability of…

Rang to check the stock availability of a certain advertised flooring on their website (of which is showing as available), however the nice lady put me on hold to check the availability and found the specific variant I wanted was discontinued. Going by the reviews I'm glad I decided to call, as I imagine it probably saved me a lot of hassle. She also advised their warehouse is undergoing refurbishment, and so a lot of items aren't in stock at present, and will need to be ordered from the supplier. Either way it's best to call and check before ordering with this company.

Absolute crooks

Absolute crooks! I placed an order for some reclaimed bricks which they failed to deliver. They claimed that they'd tried and that they wanted to charge me £165 for "redelivery" which I refused and asked for a full refund. They said that they are charging me £240 for the privilege which was over 50% of the order that I hadn't received. I've seen that they do this often and clearly do it as a tactic to make 100% margin with no intention of delivering.

No delivery no communication

Ordered on the 18th September. Now 3rd October. No delivery, been phoning for over a week and no one answering, left messages for them to call back but nothing. 2 emails over the past week but no response. Lucky paid through PayPal so put a claim in for a refund through them. Don’t waste your time and money.

Snowflakes....

I am unsure why this company are having such a bad rep at moment, I ordered from here on 4th September, just some lino...I then read these reviews and panicked - I rang on Monday morning as despite having order confirmation I was yet to receive a delivery day. After speaking with a lovely lady whose name I didn't get, she said the delay was due to me choosing one they didn't have in their warehouse and it was coming directly from the supplier which I think its absolutely fair enough - she said it should be here by the Wednesday (13th) and if it wasn't let her know. Well it arrived on the Wednesday, perfect delivery, got a time slot and the driver brought it in for me. The problem here is people are far to quick to moan instead of finding a solution. If you bother to call then might be an reasonable explanation.

Estimated delivery timelines are bait to lure you in.

Prior to purchasing some vinyl flooring, I checked the delivery T&Cs. These stated orders dispatched within 1-2 days, and delivery between 3-5 working days.

I ordered on the 26th of August, and it arrived on the 7th of September, almost two weeks after ordering.

I asked for a partial refund as FlooringDirect had not committed to the timelines stated on their website. This was ignored, and instead I was given an offer to cancel the order.

This is why I am giving two stars because the item did arrive, but very late compared to the stated expected times. Customer service did not take any responsibility for this delay and were terrible in that regard.

If I knew the estimated delivery time was bait, I would have spent more, elsewhere to ensure I get my items within the promised delivery window.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Card charged, no email confirmation of my order and no sight of receiving it over a week later despite website stating product in stock and 2 day deliveries. They don’t answer the customer service phone or respond to voicemails or the contact form on site. Can only assume they have shut down, but are still running advertisements on google shopping?

I have just been informed that this order has been delivered

I have just been informed that this order was delivered yesterday evening at 4.00pm. This order was accepted by a worker in the unit it was delivered to as they were completely unaware of the situation. I no longer need this as I had to repurchase artificial grass from another company. This can be uplifted anytime Monday to Friday with- in office hours. It is totally unacceptable to deliver this after 23 days, when they have failed to respond to any of my emails. and only after I have raised a claim with Paypal for a refund of my money.

Absolutely TERRIBLE company

Absolutely TERRIBLE company. POOR customer services. If it can even reach that considering no one answers the phone. Responds to emails. Messages. Voicemails. Endless amounts of contact. Zero response. Got £700+ of unsuitable flooring that I’ve been trying to send back for about a month now with NO reply at all. Despite threats of involving offcom etc. nothing works. Now golf to find the address associated and go in person.

Customer service? No thank you...

This company doesn't seem to believe in customer contact or updating/giving refunds for a cancelled order...
8 phone calls in space of 3 days, 5 or 6 voicemail left but not one call back. Multiple emails but only one reply that wasn't automated, which confirmed she'll cancel the order and get the refund process started by telling their accounts dept. Then, even after confirming the cancellation, they still attempt to deliver the artifical grass. We refused delivery and showed the driver why. The delivery driver is the only good thing about this experience with this company. To date, still waiting for a refund. All in all, a terrible company with absolutely zero customer focus or service. Will never order again from them for any future jobs and strongly recommend you steer clear of them.

Provide a telephone number that…

Provide a company telephone number that someone answers. Having tried many times, I get the unknown number or keeps ringing out.
Needed to discuss a free fault return as they Sent me incorrect item and now don’t reply to emails, chat etc.
So now I,
Just want to return and get my REFUND.
Effortless Returns on website - I’m finding are a JOKE? No one will take the size of parcel, costing me more than the item is worth. Especially when this is flooring direct fault. Not a customer fault.

Do not order from this S*it company…

Do not order from this s*itcompany who by the way trade under another company a few actually. If you go on companies house your see the directors names and will all link to other company’s. Don’t like to answer their phone to respond but happy to take money off everyone. Maybe you as a company should reply to people!

Amazing customer service

Really good customer service .
I contacted flooring direct as I was waiting for a dispatch email and foolishly read other reviews . Communication was amazing , Hayley indulged my ‘over communication’ . The vinyl arrived exactly when I was told , looks great and looking forward to laying it .

Carpet Samples

I ordered some carpet samples and never received them - I then re-ordered the samples and still haven't received them. I didn't pay for these so I am not too bothered but I don't think I will be using this company to actually purchase my carpets as it doesn't fill me with confidence!

What kind of company does not send you…

What kind of company does not send you a confirmation email or receipt when you buy something online? This company. I had to check my bank to see if this order actually happened. Still no email to tell me what's happening after I paid them 116 quid. I dont want this! I want to cancel and cannot speak to this shocking company. They do not answer phone or emails. Im kicking myself hard for not checking reviews first. Shouldn't be trading, need shut down. READ THESE REVIEWS YOU ARE A DISGRACE! ROBBERS! i want my order cancelled

Went to flooring direct in motherwell really friendly Calum served me he helped me pick my flooring he was so helpful very knowledgeable great all round experience I would definitely recommend this store well done great job

Don't Deliver Products after taking Your Money!

Placed an order on this website for a couple of threshold strips over a week ago. Trying to chase the status of my order is impossible!

This company does not respond to emails nor does it answer the phone.

After payment was taken all i have is an automated email from them.

No customer service

I have ordered astroturf and it has not arrived despite being due 2-3 days ago. That could be acceptable but the fact that, as others have said here, they do not pick up the phone or respond to mails, is unacceptable.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. Ordered vinyl a week ago, one email suggesting it has been dispatched 5 days ago. Nothing received, rang approx 40 times but nobody answers, left a voice message but no response. Left a chat message & no response, sent an email & no response. Never dealt with a company that offers zero customer service. If you are thinking of ordering from this company think twice & try elsewhere. I am going to request a refund through Amazon pay due to failure to fulfil contract.
