Plywood arrived filthy on the "good" side
I initially gave Flooring King 5* for delivery speed etc, but...
I ordered 3 large sheets of quite expensive plywood. Unfortunately the last one in the pile is covered in boot prints and has gouges on the "good" side. Thankfully we didn't need the full sheet and were able to avoid the worst of the damage. It looks to me like it's been laid flat on the floor and someone has walked backwards and forwards over it numerous times and dragged who knows what over it.
I am aware that this is building material but when I buy it new, I expect it to be new. Delivery driver managed to keep this hidden from my husband when it was delivered so it's too late and we've had to use it.
My kitchen subfloor is now covered in gross boot prints for ever.

I must make you aware that the goods on your particular order came from a third party supplier, we do undserstand that sometimes SP101 and plywood may have some marks on them due but as you explained, you shoudl be receiving them in new condition. As for the damages, you did not make us aware of this and we would have rectified it straight away and sent out replacements.
Once again, we do apologise that your experience with us has been tainted by the final stage and we will report this on our end.

We had some flooring off them around 12 months ago and needed to buy more now the same. I couldn't remember what we had bought, so I rang them. The guy at flooringking was very helpful. He looked at our past orders and sent me a link to the same flooring. I placed the order that day, and it was delivered on the day I requested. Great service and a good price.

Faultless from order to delivery
Flooring King will without a doubt be the only supplier I will use for any future flooring projects. From point of sale to delivery, every part of the process exceeded expectations.
The website has a great selection and variety of flooring options which are very competitively priced. It offers helpful guidelines on quantity recommendations and planning for your project, and excellent product photos which are true to life.
Their customer service stands out as the best experience I have had during a wider refurbishment project I am in the process of completing. I placed a large order for flooring materials and later realised I had missed an additional product which I would need. I contacted customer service to amend my order and Karl handled the changes swiftly and professionally. My revised order confirmation came through promptly together with a secure payment link for the additional payment, and the full order was delivered only a couple of days later on schedule with no headaches, delays or missing pieces. I have used many different suppliers for various aspects of this refurbishment and Flooring King provided by far the best customer experience.
Delivery updates were accurate and communicated perfectly. Karl, again, was helpful in providing updates on the day of delivery. The delivery arrived secure and protectively packaged right to my doorstep. I was able to select the day of delivery at no extra cost, which helped massively with schedule alignment.

Very disappointed with Flooring King…
Very disappointed with Flooring King and their return policy.
I purchased vinyl flooring, adhesive, and another item. I completely understand that vinyl cut to size is non-returnable — that’s fair and expected. What I cannot understand, accept, or agree with is how a full, unopened bucket of adhesive is also marked as non-returnable.
The adhesive was never opened, never used, completely intact, yet I was told it cannot be returned. That makes absolutely no sense and, in my opinion, goes against basic consumer rights. An unopened consumable product should not be treated the same as a made-to-measure item.
This feels extremely unfair and frankly misleading. Once you buy from this company, you are not getting your money back, regardless of whether the product is unused. I was never clearly warned about this at the point of purchase, and only found out when I tried to return the items.
I feel very frustrated and let down as a customer. I will be raising a formal complaint and will also be contacting the relevant authorities to look into this return policy.
I’m posting this simply to warn others: be very careful when buying from Flooring King. Once they have your money, don’t expect flexibility or reasonable customer service.

We’re sorry that you feel disappointed with your experience, however we must clarify that our returns policy has been applied correctly and in line with our published Terms & Conditions.
As explained to you by our customer service team during your phone call, bespoke cut vinyl and carpet cannot be returned or refunded. This is standard practice across the flooring industry, as these items are cut to a customer’s specific measurements and cannot be resold.
Regarding the adhesive, which appears to be your main concern, this is classified as a perishable item and is therefore also excluded from return. Adhesives are stored in temperature-controlled conditions in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. Once goods have been delivered and accepted, we cannot guarantee how they have been stored, and changes in storage conditions can affect the product’s integrity. For this reason, we are unable to accept them back.
Our full returns policy is clearly outlined in Section 10.3 of our Terms & Conditions on our website. It explains that we only accept returns of unused, unopened items in resalable condition and details the exclusions, which include perishable items and cut-from-roll vinyl or carpet.
While we appreciate this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, we have followed our stated policy fairly and consistently.

Terrible delivery experience
The delivery man left the items on the pallet on our driveway, saying the doorway was too narrow for him to bring into our shed.
I am 84, but had to carry the eight heavy packages myself, in case it rained. This has exacerbated my back problems.
We had to get someone to remove the pallet.

Having reviewed the proof of delivery photograph, it does show that the gate was too narrow for the pallet to pass through. The driver appears to have left the pallet in the closest accessible and safe location available at the time.
Our delivery service is kerbside only, and this is outlined in our Terms & Conditions as well as confirmed by email and text message once an order is placed. Delivery drivers are not insured to move goods into customers’ properties, which is why the pallet could not be taken further inside.
That said, we do understand how inconvenient this may have felt on the day, and we’re grateful for your feedback. We will certainly take your comments on board as we continue reviewing and improving our delivery service.

Wasn’t delivered on day requested which messed up works of the job.
When delivered all ends on boxes were ripped open. At least 2 planks in each box with chips ends. Lucky still had enough for job

We have not been made aware by yourself of this so we haven't been able to rectify the situation which could have avoided this 2 star review.
In regards to the delay in deliveyr, we do not guarantee delivery dates as we use third party delivery companies to fulfil our deliveries. In your case, it appears it was delivered by a courier rather than our suppliers own vehicles and there has been no notes on the order to say it was delayed but we do apologise for this delay, had we of known we would have notified you as we do with all our customers.
Once again, we can only apologise for the issues caused but we would have been more than happy to sort this out had we of been made aware on the day of delivery.
