Fantastic customer service

Went to the Carmarthen store recently, staff were very pleasant to deal with. Was not ready to order flooring as of yet, however, I will definitely be returning.

Great variety of floors

Great variety of floors, went for a completely waterproof floor made of stone and plastic. Never heard of it before but the sales guy told me all about it and sounded great. Held the stock for a bit while I went shopping - great all round would recomend

Worse than worse!

Unfortunately, the Culverhouse store really let themselves down. At first impressions, I was pleased with what I'd chosen and the cost. Then the fun began! I was told 7-14 days for the order to arrive. On the 14th day, I was told that my order had arrived, however I was on holiday. My builder went to collect to be told they didn't actually have it but that they will give me someone else's order who doesn't need theirs till the end of September.
I then called up to see if there was a spare box, just incase as at this point we weren't sure if we'd have enough. In the end we did need more and I went from Caerphilly to Cardiff to get it. Got it home to realise they'd given me a duff pack. There should have been 30 peices in there 15 A's & 15 B's we had 20 A's & 2B's. I phoned to let them know I'd be returning it. Drove all the way back, on inspection - they tried to say that the floor had been laid, which I took that they meant we'd done it - how could it have been laid? there wasn't enough pieces anyhow! Also, how could I have laid it in an hour from picking it up and taking it back again! By this point, I just wanted to get out of there, I felt initimdated and uncomfortable. At one point whilst still dealing with me, the staff decided to have a conversation about another order infront of me whilst I was left standing there - appalling service. They also tried to joke with me about what I did for a living as I appeared to be a 'hustler' - I was even offered a free mop instead of a better discount, to which I declined.

I would never, in a million years use this company again. They are rude, intimidating and obnoxious.

Went to Merthyr store today

Went to Merthyr store today, soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly member of staff, worked out how much flooring I needed and arrange fitting, would like to say thank you so much, would 100% recommend floors Today (Merthyr)

Absolutely thrilled with my new…

Absolutely thrilled with my new flooring and the service I received at the Merthyr Branch. Originally thought Laminate was the most suitable flooring for my lounge, however after a consultation and demonstration with the Manager, I selected their waterproof luxury flooring for my Lounge which was fitted today and looks absolutely beautiful.

As you can tell I am absolutely delighted and would highly recommend to anyone

We’ve recently bought wooden flooring…

We’ve recently bought wooden flooring from the Cambridge branch.
We also had their fitters fit the flooring.
The sales guy at the store was helpful, polite, professional and good humoured.
The fitter was outstanding!
He worked from 08:30 until the job was finished at 18:00.
The fitter worked without a break, he was a delight and totally professional in the work that he obviously took so much pride in.
A great customer experience all round.
The floor by the way, is totally 😍

why cant i give zero stars

this has to be the worst flooring company ever, the attitude of the staff in Swansea are I bought some flooring in the Swansea store and it went from bad to worst. first of all they sent the wrong carpet, so i called and spoke to someone called Dan and he tried to say that it was the one i ordered, he had hell of an attitude. They re ordered the carpet for me and changed the delivery date 4 times. I called and spoke to the manager, i think his name was Andy to try to get a refund as I wanted to go somewhere else for my carpet, omg he had more of an attitude that the salesman. This company should be avoided at all costs... they lie to their customers and dont care about anyone.. I have reported them to trading standards, they dont deserve to be trading

Went to the New Town Row store on 2 occasions to request a consultation and to measure my living room. They took my details on both ocassions they did not contact me. Left my details on the company website, still heard nothing. 🤔

Company has no accountability or responsibility!!!......Dreadful service

On the 25/06/19 I was due to have my new floor fitted booked annual leave from work so I could help my husband move furniture etc around the floor fitter. (Only 2 sofas and dining table .. old floor already taken up )..So at 10:30am the fitter hadn’t arrived so my husband called him to find out where he was and what time he would be arriving to fit our floor. He said to give him an hour or so and he would call us back. 2 hours of waiting no phone call. Rang floors today (Merthyr branch) spoke to a young girl who then stated she’ll get someone in charge to contact the fitter .... while I was on the phone I could hear her talking to said person in charge who I heard speaking to fitter (heard him laughing and having banter in the background ) the young girl then came back on the phone to tell me the fitter will contact us. Another 30 minutes I contacted Merthyr store AGAIN as the fitter had still not contacted us and we were still left wondering if our new floor which may I add was paid for on the 4th June and left at said store to be told AGAIN that the fitter will contact us. Another 20-30 minutes I contacted their head office who contacted Merthyr store put me on hold then came back to tell to wait half an hour to see if I get contacted. Yes you guessed it no phone call!!!!.... contacted head office to advise no call and bingo the fitter calls my husbands phone to then tell us at 1:40pm that he won’t be able to fit our floor today as he was already on another job and couldn’t make it 😡😡 so I then relayed this message to head office and stated that I wanted our money back!!...... WE HAVE BEEN TOLD WE CAN’T HAVE A REFUND!

At approximately 5-5:30 A member of staff called my husband and opening line on the phone “hello Mr McDonald you can’t have a refund” .......he also stated he is not cold hearted and offered £50 off the fitting!!..

We are now waiting for a call back from the area manager.

UPDATE:- As of today 26/06/19 at 18:25pm we are still waiting for a call back.!!!.... I contacted head office at 2:30pm and my husband again at 5:00pm chasing our callback!!...

I would advise not to use this company.

As the title of my review states !!!

APPALLING!!!....

UPDATE:- our fitting was rearranged for today my husband had to ring the store at 10:50 as yet again the fitter didn’t turn up after many phone calls back & forth my husband was told a fitter will be here teatime!!!.... a further phone call from the store and we have now been told a fitter will be here at 6:30 this evening. !!!!!!...... tried contacting the area manager to no avail again I advise anyone do not use this company our experience has been absolutely disgusting!!!!!!

Constant Lies and Cover Ups!

Paid £240 for two boxes of solid oak flooring, to be delivered in 8 days from Swansea Store.When I phoned on the 9th day, I was told they were come into store the next day.
I phoned the next day to check it was there to be told. The order had been cancelled as the flooring had been discontinued. Tried to get a refund over the phone to be told this can’t happen I need to go into store.
Next day I went into store, manager left as we walked in, we were then told refund couldn’t be done in store as it was on a different chip and pin machine. It had to go through to Head Office and would be done in two days time.
Two days passed and still no refund, I phoned the store and she said she also had got no where.
Phoned head office again and was told that now this was going to normally take 10 days but someone would phone me back in 30 minutes to see if they could sort something. No phone call happened.
Phoned head office again two days later to be told, this is retail and refunds never happen straight away.
The worst customer service ever, constant cover ups and lies.

Went into floors today in Ely cowbridge rd west with my husband was great in the store staff really friendly and had good knowledge of all there stock was shown several choices of flooring purchased flooring with a bit of discount so happy thank you floors today will definitely be back when we finish decorating our next room

Purchased £700 of LVT Flooring from the…

Purchased £700 of LVT Flooring from the Swansea Store, product wasn't in stock i was advised this would take a week for delivery, 6 weeks later the flooring arrived which actually had been delivered to the Swansea store 10 days earlier, however the staff new nothing about it.
Flooring was laid by a professional fitter (my own) underlay used as per advised by store for this product.

One week after fitting boards started to move on joints, constantly needing pushing back into place, the quality of the product is poor you only need to look at a joint on it cracks.

Contacted the Swansea store, basically like talking to a brick wall! full of promises you don't hear anything from any of the staff including the manager employed at that point of time, (Managers come and go weekly).

Contacted head office, same service as shop, answer i had "you should have returned the boards in the box within the 14 day promise period" excuse me, its on the floor!!.

Total rubbish wouldn't recommend to anyone, don't even go there as a last resort, staff have no concept of flooring material one day selling cars another selling flooring.

Totally useless.

Newtown store

Went in to Newtown store to choose some laminate , so pleased with the outcome. Really good quality for an unbeatable price. Thankyou to Paul Singh for advising me and showing great customer service skills. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I will be buying from here again.
