Renewal was very straight forward. Cost is good for my imported converted motor home.
Rude customer service staff
Rude customer service staff, cancelled policy on the same day and got charged over £200 even for smartbox which was never received.
This is total rip off company, be careful.

Pretty good
Excellent service, easy to deal with, and my renewal quote was the lowest price I could find for my car - and I did try to find a lower one.
Cancellation refund lost
Few weeks ago I have called fluxdirect to inform them that I wanted to cancel my car insurance. During the call, I have been told that £85 would be paid out to my card. I have replied that this would not work for me since I was in the process of closing my bank account and I have been assured that instead I would get a cheque by post.
Two weeks later I have called them again as I had not received any cheques.
I have been told that refund was paid out to my bank card, contrary to the original agreement. By the time it was allegedly paid, my bank account was already closed.
Fluxdirect asked me to verify with my bank if they received the payment, but my
bank confirmed that account was closed two days before fluxdirect claimed to send the money.
Now after two calls to fluxdirect they are still unable to refund me the sum, trying to find “tracing “ for the money sent in attempt to send me to my bank again.
The original agreement was to send the cheque and fluxdirect messed up the process from the day one and should have taken a responsibility for their actions

I am writing this on behalf of my dad
I am writing this on behalf of my dad. His disc was late, so he phoned was told it was in the post, 2 days later still hadn’t got it, he phoned was very rudely told he was late paying, which was wrong because it was automatically taken out like it said in the e-mail I received. This stressed my dad out which was not fair as he paid as soon as he was told to, not very good customer service.

Fast and efficient service
Fast and efficient service, pleasant helpful staff, offer the best insurance rates for car insurance with a well known company.
Recommend them first for your insurance needs.
Worst service ever, avoid them at all costs!!!!!
Unfortunately had the displeasure of having my car broken into and the window smashed, however, nothing was more displeasing than having to deal with the shockingly intolerable level of service from this poor excuse of a company. Took just under 7 weeks for my car to be repaired from what was a rather simple repair. I was offered no courtesy car within that time and had missed days off work due them cancelling delivery dates of the vehicle last minute without warning. Upon chasing up the repairs after sending numerous emails and making numerous calls, all I received was rudeness from the staff and empty promises that I would be contacted. They offered no explanation as to why my claim was shelved and not being dealt with fairly and promptly. Instead when requesting that a manager contact me they just transferred me from person to person and never even had the courtesy to reply to any of my complaints i made in writing. I have never been treated like this in my life and I am still yet to even receive an apology. I am now going through the formalities of contacting the Financial Ombudsman to report this company as they should not be operating like this. If you like wasting your time and money and being made a fool of, then this is certainly the company for you!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID
I’m only giving these thieves 1 star because you can’t give zero .
I bought a policy with this company a few months ago online (monthly instalments) after the policy was live a week after I received a phone call asking for further information which a gave during the telephone call . another week later received another phone call asking for further information , which I gave , I also paid the full amount of the policy during the telephone call and was told everything is fine and they need no further information etc .
Then I was receiving emails asking for the same information details that I’ve previously gave , after a week or so of back fourth emails , I was having emails saying your policy is going to be cancelled due to not giving the requested information.
I then resent everything they asked for the 5th time and contact them by telephone also asking to speak to a manager, which of course wasn’t available at the time , but a manager would get back to me , to then have my policy cancelled and then asking for money for a cancellation fee .
This company is by far the worst insurance company I’ve ever come across .

Renewed again. Some minor issues with the policy in relation to the finer detail but these were resolved quickly and efficiently without any cost.
