Absolut disappointment

Unfortunately I had the most disappointing experience with this company... I would travel back to Stockholm from Athens in the summer with Air Serbia but the connecting flight to Belgrade was delayed which resulted in my missing the next flight to Stockholm. I spent the night in Belgrade and the next day I had to fly to Frankfurt and then to Stockholm. On top of all that, I work as a doctor so all my patients that day had to be cancelled. I contacted flygförsening.se for compensation from the air company and after 3 months and several mails that they are doing their best on my behalf, I finally received the most ridiculous response ever that the delay was due to utterly extraordinary circumstances thus I wasn't eligible to any compensation. No mention on what these circumstances were (on a bright sunny summer day..) nor taking into account my financial loss no nothing... What a complete waste of my time and patience with this useless company. Would not recommend to anyone!

We would like to clarify that your case was carefully reviewed before a decision was made. Based on the internal operational reports and documentation provided in connection with your flight, the delay was determined to have been caused by extraordinary circumstances. Under EU Regulation 261/2004, airlines are not obligated to pay compensation when delays are due to such circumstances, as they are considered outside the airline’s control.

As much as we understand your disappointment, our assessment is always based on the official documentation and applicable legal framework. When the evidence indicates extraordinary circumstances, we unfortunately have no legal grounds to pursue the claim further. We have 100% a similar interest in collecting compensation, as our fee depends on winnning the case.

We sincerely regret that we were not able to achieve the outcome you had hoped for, and we fully understand that this is not the result you wanted. You are of course welcome to try to collect compensation another way, however, you must be prepared to be rejected.

They delivered!

Quick response, easy to follow process, and most importantly - money arrived into my bank account a couple of months later! Something I would never have had the energy to drive myself against the airline. And we only had a 3 hour delay in Paris which was not really a big deal for us really - but if you can get help claiming a refund that’s perfect! Would use them again 👍

Super simple to fill out, regular and clear updates, and most important - payout as promised. I wish these companies weren’t needed but it got me the compensation I was owed.

I don't trust FLYGFORSENINGEN.SE at…

I don't trust FLYGFORSENINGEN.SE at all, because i felt like this is just a scam, and who else has written something good maybe their own family and friends. How it's possible to solve the case in just in a week and their response (we are agree with their assessment) when what you ppl come to be agreed never get a satisfaction answer that's why i think they are just wasting of time and scam. Because they are working through sembo and they are also very big scam.

This company won’t stand for you

I had a flight from Stockholm to Tallinn in September 2023, it was cancelled and i had to book a new flight, pay for it myself and sleep at the airport. Contacted flygforsening.se and had an email conversation with them, i was eligible for compensation and we had to wait for the trafic board to decide wether i was eligible or not. Now in October 2025, 2 years later flygförsening.se wrote an email to me saying that trafic board has concluded that i am eligible for compensation, but the flight company has not payed so they have to go to court. But they won’t go to court and will close the errand because of lack of information. I called them straight away and asked what information they need and how we can fix this. The costumer service agent said that they need to order in internal rapports but cant, i asked why, she didnt know. They closed the errand. This company will not stand for you. Took 2 years for nothing.

Quick and effective

They did everything so quickly and effective. I barely did anything, and it took approx 4 weeks after the delayed flight until i got my money back - which it is very good considering i did not need to write any emails with the airline. Great service.

Flygforsening didn’t help and didn’t add anything (only go for easy money you can collect on your own)

We booked a flight from Innsbruck to Dubai with Lufthansa (LH) in November 2024. Air Dolomiti (AD) flew Innsbruck to Frankfurt. They were so delayed that we missed our connection flight in Frankfurt and had to wait 24 hours to take the next LH-flight to Dubai. We missed 1 out of 5 vacation days. We contacted AD several times to get compensated without any response at all. After 2 months we asked Flygförsening to help us. They contacted AD and agreed immediately that we should not get compensated because of force majeure?! AD didn’t tell us anything about any force majeure earlier, they just didn’t answer us at all. When they agreed with Flygförsening AD sent us an email and informed about the agreement. It’s so bad handled and I have understood from friends that AD almost never answer any complaints about compensation to avoid to take responsibility. I then asked Flygförsening to get any proof or documentation of any possible force majeure. They have not responded at all. My conclusion is to NEVER fly with Air Dolomiti and NEVER engage Flygförsening again. They don’t add anything besides what you can do on your own. Reference number with AD was T24841055S and with Flygförsening 851657. I give 1 star to each company and will not use any of them again.

Received payment

In the final end I received reimbursement of 190 EUR for a delayed / cancelled flight.
Everything professionally done. Its just the time line from starting the process and until payment actually done. Many months.
