Overall I had an OK experience with Norse. The flight was 6h late, waiting on the plane, for an 11h trip. I was told I could get compensation. I made a claim and sent them another email after not he... See more

My baggage was damaged and the TSA lock…
My baggage was damaged and the TSA lock clearly broken into and an item stolen. But Norse won't accept responsibility - even though I had a TSA lock on my bag which TSA would have opened with a special key to avoid incurring any damage. Worst airline experience ever.
Do not fly with norse atlantic turned…
Do not fly with norse atlantic turned away at airport overbook all there flights and find any excuse to turn you away ask to speak to some for a refund of flight sent there AI because thats the only way to get intouch with them my email adress for somone to get intouch no response 2 weeks later shambles of a airline will never fly with them again
Do not book with Norse
I booked a return flight with Norse in January of 2026, and the day after I landed in Orlando, they emailed to tell me they had cancelled my return flight. If that wasn't bad enough, the earliest date they could fly me home was six days after my original return date. After 48 hours of constantly chasing them by email (they do not have a telephone number or live chat which speaks volumes), saying that I absolutely could not do that date as I had to be back in the UK, once I threatened legal action through the CAA, they eventually came back informing me I could book through another airline, which I did, and they confirmed that they would then cover the cost of that flight. I submitted the compensation claim as soon as I had completed the return flight to the UK, and over eight weeks later, I am still chasing them, and they just keep telling me that they're busy and have lots of claims, which in itself just goes to show how awful Norse are, that they've got so many claims because they'll just cancel your return flight. I know that lots of airlines have bad reviews, but I genuinely would never ever fly with this airline if you want to reach or get back from your destination without costing you a fortune.
Norse stranded me in New York for 3 days !
Norse stranded me in New York for 3 days when they cancelled my JFK-LGW flight. Making it worse, Norse doesn't have a phone number or email to get any help and their online chat is a worthless bot. Kept sending me to a page to get refund but no refund button existed!
Persistence lead me to sites for victims of Norse which educated me to the fact that I am legally entitled to get reimbursed for the 3 days and nights of expenses and my new airline ticket to get to my home city. Now there's a Norse victims claim form available that many passengers are using to request full reimbursement.
Great airline
Punctuality, Comfort and the cabin crew.
Easy bookings system.
Best of all was the departure and arrival times, just perfect.
Staff will bump into you every time they go by.
I wont go down the rabbit hole of how they Nickle and Dime you for every bit of 'comfort' which is often standard on ANY other flight.
The staff... on both legs of my flights the staff members CONSTANTLY bumped into me as they were going up and down the isles. This would wake me up on the precious little sleep one gets on a flight.
The same happened to my partner who is even smaller than myself (so disrespectful).
Our flight was also delayed by an hour. This caused the taxi 'bridge' to be late to the plane. The baggage reclaim was also slow - ultimately we then were only able to exit the airport after midnight, once public transport was now no longer available.
Having to fork out £100 for an uber to get home. Of course customer service still havent replied for their 'duty of care' responsibilities.
Oh and nevermind the 5 babies that surrounded us as we didnt pay +- £40 per a seat to be up front.
Will not fly Norse again.
Addition to my previous review
I did not mention in my previous review flight service experience. During the flight I asked the flight attendant to get me some water to take my medications. I was told to buy the bottle of water ( 4$ !) or wait until they have time finishing to serve other passengers. It took one hour (!) when I got glass of water. In case people need to take their medications immediately ? I think it's awful.
This airway company is the worst I ever flown with.
Horrible Experence, avoid at alll costs
Horrible , unantentive rude staff who offer no quality of service, more interested in chatting amongst them selfes than offering any kind of nice custermer experience, avoid at all costs and pay for proper service and airline, flew from bsngkok to gatwick, do not use this awfull rude, arrogant bucnch of muppets who have zero interest in customer care
Flew from Bangkok to London this week
Flew from Bangkok to London this week - no complaints about paying for extras or the quality of aircraft (extra leg room in economy definitely worth doing), but the quality of aircrew really poor.
One air steward in particular looked very scruffy (brown shoes) and during take off and landing he was shouting across the aisles to a colleague - he talked about earning overtime/a bonus if the flight (hopefully) was late by 30 minutes more (it was delayed by 4.5 hours) and how much commission he would earn this month. He also revelled in the fact that check in was delayed, which left dozens of us waiting hours for Norse staff to turn up to check in (even though the message from Norse was that we should check in at the normal time, despite a delay for departure)
If the staff had been of a higher quality I would have rated the experience 4/5.
Second time user of Norse here. Not bad at all.
Second time user of Norse here. We saved £400 versus Emirates and Turkish in January '26 on a Gatwick-Cape Town flight with a 23kg bag each and spent £10 on drinks each way. The leg room/seats are the same as others and the included dinner is very edible. Take your own food along for the second meal and a big bottle of water and you'll be fine. The biggest bonus is a 12hr direct flight with Norse vs 22hrs with mid-easters. Biggest downside seems to be that there's no customer service when things go wrong. So far, so good for us though.
Late
Late, impossible to check in online. There is no service. There is always cheaper than this useless airline. Take another airline!
Avoid at All Costs: Last-Minute Cancellation, No Refund After 5 Months, and Poor Service
We booked a Norse Atlantic Airways flight from JFK (New York) to London Gatwick. Unfortunately, the airline cancelled our flight just 4 hours before departure — with no meaningful explanation.
This sudden cancellation caused significant inconvenience and extra expenses: we had to scramble for last-minute alternative flights, and other arrangements, all at much higher costs out of pocket.
Despite submitting a refund request immediately, 5 months later we still have not received any refund — even after escalating the matter through the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Their customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful throughout.
Norse Atlantic may advertise cheap fares, but based on our experience, the savings are illusory. They charge passengers with fees for everything (seats, baggage, changes), and if something goes wrong on their end — like a cancellation — support vanishes and refunds are delayed or denied indefinitely.
Strong recommendation: Avoid this airline if possible. Even if it means paying more upfront for a different carrier, you’ll likely save yourself major stress, financial loss, and frustration in the long run. Our experience was extremely disappointing and stressful — don’t risk the same happening to you.
Premium seats not worth the money!!!
Premium seats not worth the money!!!
Flew with Norse Atlantic Manchester to Bangkok.
Paid over £260pp to upgrade to premium at checkin 3 hours before flight.
No boarding segregation between economy and premium
Two meals included in premium but at service of second meal was told that as we upgraded then there may not be enough food for us. They had over 3 hours to ensure there would be enough and we should have been told at checkin this was the case.
Alcoholic beverages limited to beer or wine.
Complete comparison to Tui who we flew with in December. They served Prosecco shortly after boarding, Norse serve you soft drinks only. TUI serve premium spirits throughout the flight. No available unless you pay!
One of toilets in premium out of service the whole flight leaving just one for whole of premium on a 12 hour flight and due to someone being poorly the other was closed for most of the flights so toilets had to be shared with economy.
TUI upgrade at gate significantly cheaper.
Norse definitely not with the money!!
I mean I'm still here to tell the tale…
I mean I'm still here to tell the tale so that's a plus..
Miserable staff, my screen bust mid 8hr flight and staff were too focused on doing their own thing
Zero customer service if needed
I was booked on a Norse flight in November 2025 which was cancelled. Norse provide zero customer support and any attempt to speak with someone about rebooking or compensation was met with a "we'll get back to you in 3 days via email" response.
It is now March 2026, four months later, and I have not had a single reply from them after chasing a number of times.
They do not have a phone number, you are forced to use useless chatbots which send you in circles.
Avoid
Cpt to london gatwick
Cpt to london gatwick
Delayed 1hr + 2hrs just sitting on the tarmac before liftoff (= 3 hours total delayed!)
Staff had a cheeky attitude regarding bad service, actually anouncing over the intercom that we are 300 passengers on flight and they are only 6 so we must have more patience.
Monitors stopped working mid flight due to them blocking inflight ordering. So no movies to watch.
Never again.
Almost 12 hours fliying…
Almost 12 hours fliying capetown-gatvick but even tea ,and headphone nor free, communication is 0,staff look like riteted and working again, there is no any positive air in plane,12 hours and no wifi at all even to buy it,I dont know but never again, also I compare this with turkihs airlanes!!!omg there are very big diffirence,
I was so afraid, but now I’m a believer!
I was so afraid to travel with them after seeing all the reviews. However - seems like they have really fixed their previous flaws. My flight was overbooked and was given an amazing opportunity as a result. The company as a whole, and individual members made my travel experience absolutely perfect! I want to thank Amanda at the London Gatwick airport for helping with a very smooth volunteering experience to take a flight on a different day. But even more so - when I returned for the 2nd flight I was supposed to take 6 days later, she recognized my face at first, then EVEN CALLED MY LAST NAME without looking at my passport or anything. She further went to accommodate a special request I had for this flight. She managed my expectations saying that “it’s not guaranteed but will try my best”. Thanks to Amanda, I will be loyal to Norse forever!
Was very concerned booking with Norse…
Was very concerned booking with Norse as reviews were poor. However our experience was perfect & better than BA for premium economy! Staff were so friendly & efficient (Z0795/6) Gatwick to Cape Town. Flights were on time & cabin was fantastic with comfort & leg room. Food was good & drinks easily replenished with a smile. Well done Norse!
