My vehicle was involved in a head on…

My vehicle was involved in a head on collision, due to the other party being on another planet. FMG did a great job on the repairs, and were kind and courteous. Couple of glitches afterwards, but to say how bad the vehicle was, that is fine. They sorted it all out.
It was Nottingham, but the drop down list will not let me choose this branch.

Superb Customer Service

FMG Repair Services are one of the most efficient garages I have dealt with. The staff are quick to keep their customers up to date with the entire process and picked up our vehicle to undertake the repairs within a few days.
The standard of repair has been excellent and our car returned to us looking like new.
We are absolutely delighted with the entire experience dealing with the Plymouth branch.

FMG Vehicle repair customer feedback

Just delivered my car from the repair garage and can honestly say what a fantastic job FMG Repair Services have done to my VW Golf. The repair has been completed to such a high standard you could not tell the vehicle has been involved in a collision. The paintwork was excellent all valeted inside and cleaned outside. Very impressed with the service and quick turnaround time would highly recommend their services.

Seat Tarraco front bumper and sensor repair

Fmg Dunfermline Extremely well informed and keeping me updated with the progress of work at all stages of the work carried out.
Repair work was done to a extremely high standard and carried out very quickly even though there had been a lot of accidents in the area that they were having to deal with

MK branch - highly recommended

MK branch. An insurance claim. It took a couple of weeks for the repair quote to be approved but once it was my car was collected promptly by lovely FMG staff and returned within a week. The communication was excellent throughout as was the quality of the repair.

FMG Repair Services at Bridgend were truly excellent from beginning to end. They were clear in the communication, completed the repair ahead of the scheduled time, and delivered the car back to me looking brand new. I'm delighted!

Overall a good experience, but not 100%

Overall a good experience.
The good points...
The collection of my vehicle, with good communication.
Polite staff, from the receptionist to the personel collecting and delivery of my vehicle.
The repairs, exceptional.
The only issue I have is , I was going through a none fault insurance claim and FMG stated they would return the car with the same amount of fuel at the point of collection, this never happened.
Hence the 3 Start rating I have given.

Great. service

Jade at Grantham was efficient, knowledgable and cheerful throughout. Some idiot had keyed my car and the repair was carried out quickly and to a high standard.

Avoid,certainly Dunfermeline branch-…

Avoid,certainly Dunfermeline branch- gonna fill this,bodge this,bend this- err no you wont,but what you do is provide tesco with a super cheap quote which they use for leverage against folk wanting to use an approved repairer to fix their car- in cahoots with them to lower payouts

Terrible experience, never use this garage

Awful customer service and bare minimum communication. I was told my car would be back in 5 days as it was purely cosmetic work needed. I tried to contact the garage several times while they had my car for 11 days with no work being done. When I tried to call for an update, 5 times, the line rang out. It was picked up once and then hung up 2 seconds later. I had to call head office who were just as unhelpful and told me they were waiting on a response from my insurer which I knew they had already sent. They told me it was a write off, without me even seeing a quote. Once I chased it up with my insurer they told me all I needed was a geometry test after which I was told my car was roadworthy. I never even saw the quote until after I had my car back, even though I requested it numerous times over the phone and was told they would send it to me.

I've since chased them up for the complaints process, as they haven't contacted me since 11th December when I asked to raise the complaint. Though they have upheld my complaint I have received 0 compensation, and seemingly no sympathy, after being without a car for almost two weeks right in the lead up to Christmas. I'm still chasing the complaint resolution now as all they've said they'll do is pass my feedback on to the Bristol site. I will never use this garage again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

FIRST CLASS JOB

From start to finish of the repair to my car everything ran smoothly, from the Guys picking and dropping my car back to the Girls on reception they all were so helpful.
I must say the finished job is top draw, colour match is perfect and the car has come back immaculate inside and out. Thank you FMG Bridgend South Wales.

The car looks as good as new.

I recently had my BMW 3 Series repaired here at FMG Repair Services Leamington following an accident, and I could not be more impressed with the results. The quality of the work and craftsmanship has been excellent — the car looks as good as new.
Their customer service has been outstanding throughout the entire process. The team genuinely puts the customer first, went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled professionally, and kept me informed every step of the way. They are an absolute pleasure to work with and clearly take pride in what they do.
I would highly recommend this garage to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality repairs and exceptional service. They have now gained a lifelong customer, and we will definitely return if we ever need their services again.
Thank you again for the fantastic work — it is very much appreciated.

Excellent Service all round!

I was regularly updated on my vehicle, the systems were very easy to use and all staff were very friendly, most notably Jade. I want to thank all the repair staff for their efforts in returning my car looking very clean and professional whilst also fixing the damage to my vehicle. Thank you very much all!

9th Aug 2025

9th Aug 2025 – scraped car on side of house – scratched two panels on back passenger side left hand side of car and scratched plastic trim. Mazda CX-30 – Mazda red paint is very hard to do as it is multi-layered.
Reported accident to Tesco insurance who handed it off to FMG to organize repairs.
11th August – AR Hub Crawley texted to say they their team had been contacted by FMG to arrange a booking date for our repair.
11th Aug-24th Sept 2025 – car was ‘repaired’ once by AR Hub Crawley (after just over a week) and returned in the wet to get acceptance on work done – work was not to a high standard ‘Orange peel’ effect. Asked mechanic if they could actually fix it to the rest of the car as Mazda paint is ‘hard to do’ and they assured us it was something they could fix – took the car away and another week later was brought back – looked exactly the same i.e. orange peel. Did not accept work but garage owner said it was the ‘best they could do and would not take the car back’. We mentioned we would get an independent assessment of the work and the garage said they would do the same.
10th Sept – call to FMG (7 mins)
25th Sept 2025 - Davis Group’s independent engineer to assesses car and finds unacceptable work by AR Hub (but doesn’t notice broken trim underneath car as a thorough inspection of full car not done but only where paint work is).
Oct 2025 – FMG did not contact us to offer another repairer to fix the work so we found one who could do Mazda red paint repairs. Over an hour away but has track record of Mazda repairs.
Follow-up with FMG to get approval on repair works. Lack of communication between any of the relevant parties and chasing resolution (I think at this point they are hoping we will ‘go away’!)
14th Nov – call to FMG (24 mins)
18th Nov – 2 calls to FMG (18 mins), (10 mins)
24th Nov – Call to FMG (17 mins)
26th Nov – Call to FMG (25 mins)
17th Dec – Call to FMG (8 mins)
Nov-Jan – many calls to new repairer to give details and get advice (and they are also in contact with FMG) and they said in the entire of their 3 decade career, never had such difficulties getting repairs approved!
22nd Jan 2026 – Call to FMG (16 mins) – told manager would call but instead got email that the company were having a meeting to discuss the case.
23rd Jan 2026 – Call to FMG (16 mins) – email with update to case – call to repairer mentions FMG have approved 1 hour (?!) for buffing and polishing the orange peel effect of paint (which 3 other sprayers have mentioned is not possible but we will try it). No mention of what is going to happen about mismatch of paint colour – I suppose you can buff paint to change colour! Or any mention of fixing broken plastic panels on the underneath of back left side.
Repairer is over an hour away and no mention of what should happen if polishing and buffing paintwork does not work and judging by speediness of FMG, it won’t be in the same day to approve any work so in the meantime supposed to drive a car around with damage obvious?! STILL NO RESOLUTION OVER 5 MONTHS!
