It's a really great compilation of some classic Batman comics, as well as other perfect nostalgic touches and collectible pieces. Packing was very good, shipping a little slower than promised, but it arrived safely. Value rated lower because Folio Society makes very clear that smart people will get it for half off if they just wait.

Excellent Excellent book! So glad they started to do DC books. Little bit disappointed with the choices in this volume! I would have liked to have NOT seen Dark Knight Returns, Killing Joke and Year One inculded as I have multiple formats of these stories! More Neal Adams and 70's/80's Bat Adventures! But that's just my opinions!

There have been many editions of Batman #1, and I have owned quite a few but this has to be the best. This high standard carries over to the main book, which truly is a treat to read. By honouring the original 4 colour print but on high quality paper, it reveals new depths whilst retaining that wonderful sense of nostalgia. For any fans of Batman this has to be an essential purchase.
