First time customer, very happy with the quality and feel of the book. It’s obviously a marvel to look at as well. I’m enjoying the read so far.

Product details
Open the pages and enter the labyrinthine House, where tides fill the monumental Halls, and the corridors and vestibules are home to thousands upon thousands of statues. This is the realm of Piranesi, the titular character of Susanna Clarke's poignant novel that examines, among other things, the beauty and sorrow of solitude. It is a truly ingenious puzzle of a book – one that’s best discovered firsthand. The less you know at the outset, the more captivated you'll be. Bound in deep blues and gleaming golds, this Folio edition is as beautiful and enigmatic as its contents. The artist Julin De Narvaez has distilled the mystery and majesty of the House into six gorgeous illustrations, while a brand-new afterword by the author offers a glimpse into the sparks of inspiration that led to Piranesi's creation.

In an attempt to differentiate this review from my Murakami collection, I love Julian De Navarez interpretations of a world I've had trouble visualizing in their illustrations. Bonus points for the gold inlay at the tops of the pages that I didn't notice the first time I picked up the book.

A breathtakingly beautiful edition of Susanna Clarke's second novel. The cutout in the case and cover art combine to create an ethereal effect when viewing the set. The interior contains gorgeous artwork that perfectly captures the vibe of the story.
