I am not a huge PKD fan but felt he should be represented on my SF shelves, this collection of his short stories was the perfect compromise. A lovely book, in general, the illustrations, the sprayed edges and the slip case. Definitely a fine addition to the SF shelves.

I'm thrilled with my purchase; the illustrations are incredible. The only thing that saddens me is the cover. The red paint rubs off onto the cover, even with careful use. So, to read the book, I have to cover it up, hiding all its beauty. And the damage can't be undone.

I’ve been a big fan of Phillip K Dick for a very long time, this is a great selection of his work, complimented beautifully with stunning illustrations as we come to expect from Folio. A great addition to my home library and a lovely birthday treat!

Good stories, good design and illustrations, but first one arrived damaged and even on the replacement copy a tiny bit of the paint on the page edges is flaking off, in addition to slight marks on the slipcase. This sadly seems to be the case with many books, which like this one, are beeing printed in Italy. For the price you are paying for these books, this quality (or lack thereof) is unacceptable. I might have given this book a lower score if it weren't for the improvement that was the replacement copy.

As PKD's short stories are my favorites to read, I was very excited for this edition and it did not disappoint. The book design encapsulates the weird, wonderful paranoia of his writing style. The eyes on the paper edges are an especially nice touch. And I can't wait to pore over all of the different illustrations.

Quality presentation of one of Sci-Fi's big names. Illustrations, cover, box, edges - thought has been put into everything. A great example of how book-printing is an art, and why it should be an art. Such books give joy and command respect.
