I am completely in love with this beautiful book. The illustrations are gorgeous, on high quality paper. The only slight criticism is that I wish there were more illustrations, although there are seven, not counting the book cover and protective box illustrations . The artist has captured the beauty and mood of my favorite book. If you love Station Eleven as I do, this book is well worth the cost.

This beautifully illustrated edition of Emily St John Mandel’s modern classic dystopian pandemic novel, Station Eleven, is printed on qualty paper and securely bound, with a wrap around cover and slip case representing St Deborah By The Water in a bright sunny day and a dark winter’s night, respectively. The illustrations capture key plot elements perfectly. This grand slam of an edition would be a perfect game if FS could produce a matching graphic novel collection of the fictional Station Eleven comic books from the novel. Just sayin’…

This is one of the standout novels of the 21st century. Ahead of its time in the apocalyptic story lines because it avoided the tired narrative of the last humans fighting it out to the last drop of blood. Instead while there is some violence there is also solidarity, love and art. It is truer to the human psyche. And the writing! Emily St John Mandel's words are a pleasure in themselves. I have enjoyed all of her novels and I am looking forward to her new one, Exit Party, coming out this year. Station is a must read.
