This Folio Society edition of THE FOUNDATION TRILOGY is a pleasure to read. The illustrations show great imagination, and the three separate volumes are encased in a protective slipcase. The acid-free paper is a great way to preserve these crucial, timeless works for the future.
excellent quality
book quality was superb
I think these books are of amazing quality. I think the only downside is the price. This was a very expensive purchase, and as much as I'd like to bundle-buy multiple folio books to save on shipping, this one made it difficult to do that. For this price, I think if there were stenciled sprayed edges or something of that matter on top of the amazing design, it would be worth it. Other book companies offer the same exclusive features but for less.

Beautiful illustrations, in the spirit of Asimov's science fiction. I love how the covers, each book distinct, but all forming a series.
I made sure to pick up the reprint and luckily I did that just in time because now the reprint cannot be sold in my country by Folio.

A beautifully presented trilogy

I have hummed and hawed about buying a deluxe version of this book for some time. I read the trilogy many years ago and wanted to reread it. I debated whether to get a cheap disposable version or whether to buy this product for some time. I am glad that I chose the folio product. The reading experience was greatly enhanced. The quality of the pictures, paper etc is impressive. I hugely enjoyed rereading it. The virtues of the book have shifted from when I first read it as a teenager. I realise now that the characterisation is thin for example. However other virtues which I did not appreciate then have come to the fore. The ideas and plot were enjoyable.

Gorgeous edition
Classic science fiction that I read 30 years ago, now in a three volume box-set. This is something I'll be reading again and again.
