The cover art is nice enough, if not particularly inspired, but overall this is a rather disappointing edition of The Road. The illustrations were of decent quality but the whole book feels rather underwhelming in its design and production, especially considering the price of these books.

The desolate landscape of post world apocalypse fiction has never been captured so utterly and yet with the exact nature of this specific story in mind. I hope Cormac McCarthy has seen this. It's very well done and I love the little moments of the father and son the artist and folio society chose to use in this edition.
