The book is beautiful. Well packaged.
The author’s writing style is very enjoyable, and the illustrations are incredibly beautiful. Folio books are works of art in themselves. Thank you very much.
Very thick and beautiful paper, gorgeous illustrations. A very special gift.
Such a wonderful book and worth every penny just for Toad in his washerwoman disguise! Gift for a friend. She loves it. ❤️
A beautiful edition of a wonderful book.
Gorgeous version of the story. Both the book itself & the slipcase have great designs. Love the quality binding (sewn).
Visually enhances the classic text. Delightful to hold and touch the fabric cover as well as the high quality pages.
This was purchased as a birthday gift for my granddaughter's first birthday; no she isn't reading yet but my aim is to build up a library of wonderful children's books for when she is reading and to this end I also bought The House at Pooh Corner last Christmas. We are a family of readers & have always treasured books, there will be many to hand down to her and these are beautiful additions. This one is full of gorgeous illustrations and is beautifully presented.
Another stunning Folio Society book!
Beautiful drawings.
A joy to read a classic novel that is timeless, and in the Folio Society edition it will be enjoyed for generations to come.
This is a beautifully constructed book and complete with quite wonderful illustrations. An item to treasure.
I found some of the more attractive editions of this classic are abridged to omit the Piper at the Gates of Dawn chapter. This is vandalism. This edition is complete and absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful book with lovely illustrations
Gorgeous edition and illustrations!
Absolutely beautiful
This is now my hands-down favorite copy of "The Wind in the Willows"!
Great edition!
'The Wind in the Willows' by Kenneth Grahame was originally published in 1908 and has since become a beloved classic in children's literature. Over the years, the book has been reprinted in numerous editions and translated into multiple languages, with countless copies sold worldwide. Many illustrated editions have also been released, featuring artwork from various renowned artists, which adds to the book's charm and timeless appeal. 'The Wind in the Willows' is a delightful story of friendship and adventure, set in the idyllic English countryside. It follows the lives of four animal friends: Mole, Rat, Badger, and the irrepressible Mr. Toad. As the animals navigate the joys and trials of life, they embark on a series of adventures that involve boating, picnics, and the occasional wild car chase—all while exploring themes of friendship, home, and the beauty of nature. I recently purchased 'The Wind in the Willows' and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the hardbound edition. The book is beautifully bound, with a durable cover that feels premium in every way. The font is perfectly suited for comfortable reading, and the illustrations are simply wonderful, adding to the magic of the story. This edition is an excellent gift for readers of all ages, offering a perfect blend of classic storytelling with exceptional craftsmanship. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to add a timeless work of literature to their collection or to gift to someone special!
