We had a fantastic team supporting us all the way along the Northern Circuit to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. The team met and exceeded all our expectations from setting up and taking down our tents, carrying all the kit, catering delicious food to guiding us in the best way possible to make sure all of us, including our two sons aged 17 and 13, could make it to the top. Very memorable!

I highly recommend Follow Alice hands down to help you climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Everything was organized so beautifully right from the start including the info sessions, airport pick ups, and the Follow Alice staff was amazing.

The trip would have not been possible without our excellent porters and guides that helped set up our tents, cooked meals for us, filled our hot water bottles, brushed the dust off our shoes, carried our day packs and many more duties.

Our 8-day Tanzanian Safari is awesome! We did private gaming drives in Kruger before but I would say this one with Follow Alice is amazing!

I wanted to experience the Great Migration and was choosing between Kenya and Tanzania. Michael is very helpful in guiding me in the itinerary and the booking. Given my very busy schedule, he made it easier for me. I also love the itinerary. We were able to maximize our 8-day exploration. We experience the best of Tanzania! Can't get enough of the wildlife encounters and watched phenomenal river crossings, watching herds of wildlife up in the air thru the hot air balloon just like using a drone camera! Just wow!

Our daily game drives are equally stunning! 2-thumbs up to our safari guide and driver Peter! With the 8 days that we were together, we were like a family.

Of course not to forget Meera who guided us in all the preparations! My husband and I were actually clueless but she made it easier for us!

My dad and I had an unforgettable trekking experience to Everest Base Camp, all thanks to the incredible team at Follow Alice. The organization was flawless from start to finish. Our team of 15 lovingly known as “15 Shades of Altitude” and also dubbed the “Pole Pole Party” completed the 8-day Lemosho Route in October 2024 with Follow Alice, and the experience was nothing short of phenomenal.

From the early planning stages all the way to coordinating our transport back home, the Follow Alice team demonstrated exceptional care, organization, and professionalism. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and it was clear that they genuinely love what they do.

A huge shoutout to Tony, our incredible head guide, whose leadership, encouragement, and warmth inspired 13 of us to successfully summit Mount Kilimanjaro. His team of guides, porters, and crew made us feel safe, supported, and cared for every single step of the way. Their passion and positivity were contagious—and unforgettable.

Our amazing group of climbers included: Liza, James, Riccardo, Emanuela, Massimo, Ruggero, Edoardo, Mauro, Karl, Charlotte, Ronnie, Sahari, Emily, Christopher, and Jon. It was a diverse, spirited, and fun-loving crew that bonded over every step, snack, and summit push.

There was never a moment where we didn’t feel in good hands. I can honestly say that making it to the top would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the Follow Alice team. Climbing Kilimanjaro is a major challenge, and it truly takes a village. We are so grateful to everyone involved—from the guides and porters to the behind-the-scenes organizers who ensured everything ran smoothly, one team, one dream.

Not only did they guide us up Africa’s highest peak, but they also celebrated us in style—three birthdays during the trek, including Liza’s unforgettable 40th, complete with cake, candles, and sparkles at altitude! And don’t even get me started on the food, we ate like kings and queens the entire way. Who knew you could have gourmet meals on a mountain?

Follow Alice made my trip to Peru an absolute crazy adventure but I will treasure every moment. There was 13 people in our group, which was a large group, but it never felt as if it wasn’t a personal tour. Our guides Marco and Arturo were so knowledgeable about any question that was brought up. If you are looking to find a tour company that knows how to curate a once in a lifetime experience while still keeping safety and knowledge on the top of mind, I would 1000% recommend Follow Alice.

This was my first trip with Follow Alice. I can honestly say it won’t be my last. The company set forth and executed a seamless plan while we were hiking through the mountainous area in Peru. Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Follow Alice was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! From start to finish, the team was professional, well-organized, and incredibly supportive.

The office staff (Tine, Meera & Brandy) were incredibly helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing detailed information about the trek, packing lists, and logistics. Their excellent communication made the planning process smooth and stress-free. They ensured that every aspect of our trip was well-organized, from airport transfers to accommodation before and after the climb.

Our guides, Robert, John, Amadeus, Casti to name a few were knowledgeable, patient, and always encouraging, making sure we stayed safe and motivated throughout the trek. The porters were absolutely amazing—carrying our gear, setting up camp, and always greeting us with smiles, even after long and challenging days.
The meals were beyond expectations, providing the energy we needed to push forward each day. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to acclimate properly, and the summit night was planned perfectly and unforgettable.

One of the standout aspects of the trek was the high-quality equipment provided. The tents were sturdy, spacious, and held up perfectly against the mountain’s unpredictable weather. The sleeping bags were warm and comfortable, keeping us cozy even in freezing temperatures. The dining tent provided a great place to relax and enjoy delicious, energizing meals after long hiking days. Every detail was carefully thought out to ensure our safety and comfort.

Standing at Uhuru Peak was an emotional and rewarding moment that wouldn’t have been possible without this fantastic team!

I was able to design our dream trip including multiple countries and differing activities. After initial contact I was assigned a travel advisor knowledgeable in the specific places and things we wanted to do that helped me through the entire planning process. Once on the ground we always had someone from Follow Alice with us. If there was any issue or question additional support was also available through WhatsApp. I felt extremely comfortable and safe during our trip, which included 3 countries, 2 airport pickups, 1 border crossing, an 8 day Kilimanjaro trek and multiple other activities. The communication was easy and always clear. The guides are incredible. They are alI very knowledgeable in thier fields and make you feel right at home. My husband and I just returned from an incredible trip with Follow Alice to Uganda and Tanzania. We did the mountain gorilla trek, a chimpanzee habituation trek, and several days of safari in Tanzania. Follow Alice, from the planning of the itinerary to handling everything while we were on our trip was outstanding. And I cannot say enough wonderful things about each of our guides--Ayub in Uganda and Peter in Tanzania--they were the absolute best!

I have just climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Follow Alice and I can not express how helpful they where in helping me me Climb Mt Kilimanjaro the guides we had were Robert and Paul and they made it enjoyable and helpful for the climb. Follow Alice is a very good to work with from pre briefing for climb. During climb you are supported by a great team of porters, cooks and waiters.
The whole experience was amazing

I liked the general execution of the trip. We were treated nicely, the equipment and people ware well prepared and we safely completed all the steps without any surprises

What I didn't like was mostly the flow of information which led to some awkward situations:
- confusing information about the itinerary - one version on my email, different one when I arrived
- wrong information about the expected temperatures, the preparation guide said -5C would be the lowest, it was -20...
- very imprecise information about the extra costs - I had to borrow money at some point as I didn't withdrew enough and there was no more ATMs nearby
- confusing information about the tips for the team which led to a mutual feeling of distrust at the end - the guide expected more than we understood to be reasonable as he tried to take advantage of us

Our 18-day customized excursion to Bhutan, including the Cholmolhari Trek, was nicely crafted by Follow Alice. The company's staff impressed us with their adaptability and attentiveness from initial contact to the journey's end. They even accommodated our impromptu request to modify part of our itinerary mid-trip to explore southern Bhutan, which included wildlife spotting and fly-fishing in the Royal Manas National Park. Puru and Daniel from Follow Alice were consistently responsive and collaborative. Our lead guide, Sonam, was not only knowledgeable and supportive but also suggested alternative routes and itineraries that made our experience unique and unforgettable. The additional trekking crew (Sonam Gyelshen, Tashi the cook, and Kencho the horseman) and our driver Passang were dedicated and a joy to interact with. I would not hesitate to recommend Follow Alice and their team to others and look forward to embarking on another memorable adventure with them in the future.

Just home from EBC trek with Follow Alice. I've got a serious case of the holiday blues now. It was an expi will never forget and memories I will treasure.

I have just returned from the Annapurna Circuit Trek and couldn’t wait to share what an Amazing experience I had. Follow Alice provided a fabulous experience and above and beyond service and support.

My guide Nishan was an absolute treasure. He is so knowledgeable, professional, kind and responsive to any needs. Whether I was ascending very slowly :) up a mountain, or needed anything at all, he was always there to be supportive, literally every step of the way. He took the time to explain details of the trip, the mountains, history, culture and more. I learned more from him than I ever expected to. I felt very safe in trusting my journey to him, and would book another trip that he was leading in a heartbeat. He is simply the best!
The porter, Kabi consistently went far above and beyond his duties to ensure I had everything I needed, and had an enjoyable experience.

On the trek I saw many other travel groups with their guides, and after observing, was certain that my guide and porter were by far the best out there!!

I am not sure I would have made it to Thorong-La Pass without them, and I am certain that I would not have had such a wonderful experience if I had any other guide/porter!

Puru and the Follow Alice staff were very responsive and helpful throughout the planning and duration of the trip. It was great to know that I had such knowledgeable, friendly and kind associates at Follow Alice to help along the way!
Sonam gave very personalized attention and care for which I was also grateful.
I also highly recommend the tours that Follow Alice provided around Kathmandu if possible. The tour guides were incredibly informative and kind, and provided lasting memories I will cherish!
