I can't begin to describe how terrible…

I can't begin to describe how terrible this experience has been. Judging by the many complaints here and on Twitter, this company deserves a serious investigation into its practice of unlawfully holding onto customer money.

It is November 2021 and I am still yet to receive a refund since August 2021.

I have been set back and forth from store to online customer services. I first told by the store to contact online customer services about my refund. I was then first finally offered a refund on 9 September, but told to go back to the store (with whom the customer services team had liaised) to return the shoes and collect my refund.

The store did not believe that their district manager had approved the refund despite me showing them all the emails. They said that I had to go back home with my shoes and email customer services again. I refused and gave the shoes back over the counter with my details to refund me the money once they had sorted out the internal miscommunication.

I was eventually (after many emails) apologised to by customer services and told I could either return to the store and collect my refund or be refunded by bank transfer. I opted for the second option.

I handed over my bank details a month ago (it took a few weeks to ask me) but have yet to receive my £119.99 refund.

The whole process is exasperating - I have sent a total of 28 emails, sent on wild goose chases to the stores (at my own expense) and it has been a huge waste of my time.

In one of the most recent emails I was told "Your case is currently being handled by the Head Office which has the most competent team to resolve this type of matters as soon as possible..." I have been bounced around the customer services department numerous times and it feels like a joke at this point.

Takes your money won’t deliver your item

Allowed me to purchase 2 pairs, one arrived and the other has been cancelled, requested a manger and they’ve advised it’s only a request and is not guaranteed, I will be contacting trading standards within 10 days if I have not received any response from a manager, absolute joke of a company

NO DELIVERY NO RESPONSE

ordered a £155 pair of nike trainers, no order confirmation, money deducted out my bank, emails are robot so dont understand your emails. been 3 days now with no response, no idea if the shoes are coming and no idea if im going to get my money back! never ever order from here absolutely useless, stupid company, stupid people!!!1

No delivery on the day or time they arranged

Where is my order footlocker I have waited in all day it's a disgrace. Some of us can't take another day off work while you decide to deliver. Giving me a date then not turning up with the goods. What kind of a company are yous. I will never shop with yous again !!!!!!

NO CONFIRMATION EMAIL received

I place a £99.99 order they take my MONEY but dont send me no confirmation email or nothing ive tried everyday possible to get in contact with a real person with footlocker and its impossible and this is not the 1st time I have had had problems ordering from footlocker. So I have no idea if my order is coming or not? were it is? will I get a refund soon if it ain't coming? when is it expected to come? tracking information? I have none of this information they are definitely a joke you wouldn't think a company as big as footlocker would be able to get away with basically scaming people left and right its just not right and is completely unacceptable I will surely not be using this service every again as it has really messed me up & inconvenienced me this time!

Ordered running shoes, arrive damaged, ZERO repsonse from emails! They expect ME to pay to return shoes from UK to Netherlands 57 Euros!! Tht I won't get back!

Purchased a pair of air max shoes for…

Purchased a pair of air max shoes for my daughter online.
After 2 months they became faulty.
Contacted footlocker who sent me a very difficult return email resulting in the carrier(ups)portal not working properly and leaving me with a faulty product.
Why couldn't they just give me a label to print?
Seems they want to make it so difficult you just give up.
Will never use this awful stores website again.

Rubbish

Thought I had sorted my daughters back to school stuff. All that was left to be delivered were her trainers and backpack from footlocker. Never used them before but they had the jordan bag she wanted so ordered. Waited a few days, no emails then out of the blue an email from paypal that they had refunded the money for the whole order! No explination or anything from footlocker directly! Never again

Colin is a Superstar and deserves recognition of the highest degree!

After a terrible experience with footlocker that I have already written a review on. I would like to give credit where it is due to Colin, manager of Footlocker store Liverpool for going out of his way to try and rectify the situation and retain me as a customer. Despite me telling Colin that I would never shop at Footlocker again. He listened to all my frustrations and he took them onboard. He took responsibility and ownership of the situation despite it having nothing to do with him personally, he apologised and he understood that Footlocker had failed me in every way possible. He went above and beyond, I was extremely upset and he dealt with all my frustrations professionally, calmly and with care and efficiency. He did what he said he would do and he took going the extra mile to new heights. He personally came to apologise to me again and give me my refund so I didn’t have to be inconvenienced any further at a further cost to me and even now is still trying to source the item I originally purchased. Colin thank you for your excellence and all that you did. Thank you for actually caring and taking pride in your position and what you do. You are their only saving grace and I hope you are rewarded accordingly.

Lost Trainers

I purchased a pair of “Jordan mid 1 trainers from Footlocker online on the 26th May, my delivery should’ve taken 2-6 days and DHL were the ones that would be delivering them.( I tried ringing someone at FOOTLOCKER but you can’t speak to anyone, the only option was to contact them via email AND they state that they will get back to you within 4 hours ) I’m still waiting to either receive the trainers and for Footlocker to get back to me after I sent them an email and received a reply from they stating that they were sorry and that it would take them a few days to make contact with DHL, to establish where my trainers are. Ive since emailed them a further 3 times and I’ve heard nothing from them, the last email I sent was on 7th June. It’s absolutely disgusting and I’m so angry that I’m the one doing all the chasing, there doing NOTHING, in fact it’s almost as if they just want this whole episode swept under the carpet and forgotten about, I will be contacting the Ombudsman and trading standards within the next day or two, in the hope that after two weeks. I can get a refund, draw a line under this complete and utter shambolic sports company, never to shop there again! CLOWNS

Bought some new balance trainers and within three weeks they split and so forth contacted footlocker but unfortunately not a manufacturer fault, so warning rubbish quality and don’t expect any back up when things go wrong!!! Go direct to manufacture or someone else!!!

I ordered 5 items from footlocker Europe it was a total cost of 250 pounds.They arrived after 6 days and they were in perfect condition.Excellent transaction in all.Would recommended to other byers.I will ordered online again because of the good shopping experience.

After trying and failing on multiple…

After trying and failing on multiple occasions to navigate a shoddy site
that does not load and being unable to order even the most basic product I can easily say that this is the absolute worst site I have encountered.

Considering that Nike and other brands seem to favor F.L. and that they often sell the same exact shoe for £10-15 above retail, I have no idea why they do not fix the site.

It is 2021, but you would be forgiven for thinking otherwise after a visit to the Footlocker site.

So this site has to be the worst site ever, followed closely by JD. All I get is...oops there’s a problem and the waiting time for a sneaker is laughable. They make you wait in a queue way after a sneaker has gone, it’s hard being a sneaker head in the uk.. with SNKRS being a flop 24/7 #dodgy and footlocker being completely useless on release day and we might get the odd company raffling the equivalent of a couple of shoes trying to be relevant when really you stock bricks 🧱...stop it. What really gripes me is. The shoes are 97.5% flawed and the comfort of a Jordan is zero for most models #youaintnoyeezyornmd ......SO GET YOUR S**T TOGETHER AND WORK OUT HOW TO RUN A WORKING SITE 🤦
