Overall I loved the way the school had everything set up online. Easy to upload tests and assignments. Nice that parents and children could email teachers. Good communication between all parties. Only down falls were the price and some of the work load was a little heavy. They were having 6th and 7th graders doing 1000 word reports. That's kinda extreme to me.

This is an excellent online school. I didn't have any problem. My daughter is learning very well. Your child have to work about four hours per day and you have to be constant.
I recommend this school.

I was debating between 4 and 5 stars. The program really is comprehensive and engaging. My son had to work relatively hard for his A+ average, which is great. There were a few minor technical issues with some of the links out of date but nothing big. I don't really like the way the time is counted in the attendance area since a lot of the homework is actually done outside of the time when the child is actually logged into Forest Trail. So, in effect, it may look like the child barely did any homework that day when he actually spent hours researching and writing an essay or paper. Overall I would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for a quality online homeschool program. I am confident that my son is learning more now than he ever did in public school.

We’ve been searching for an internet based school that blended both virtual teachers as well as us, the parents. This is exactly what we’ve been searching for. We are very pleased with Forest Trail Academy and plan to stay with the school for many more years to come.

I would recommend this company to anyone. The lessons are the same as my niece who is attending the actual school. Though Forest Trail Academy is online learning, you will get the benefits of those who are attending the actual school.

I am currently in grade 10 and Forest trail academy is great! They've taught me many things and have a wide array of electives to choose from, the timetable is flexible, and the teachers are friendly and helpful and the school is also great for international students who seek an American education.

Absolutely no teacher interaction. The material has several errors. Very low quality all around.

My daughter, who is in 10th grade really enjoys the online pace and I find the coursework challenging and interesting enough for her. Her instructors are in contact with her often, checking up on her and there to give any help.

Forest Trail Academy has given us the best experience we could have ever asked for. The level of education surpasses the public education system by leaps and bounds. The teachers are engaged and exited with every interaction. We have freedom to travel and work on our own schedule.

Teachers are great and so is office staff! Emails are answered promptly as are phone calls.

Excellent online school. Very impressed with the language arts and the classic books used in the program. All the classes have a thoughtful curriculum and are really quite impressive.

Last year we had a big decision to make about my daughter school .We had to make a change and found this school . It’s been a very good experience, the teachers were so helpful to my daughter. Whenever she had any questions they were fast to respond and continued with her work . The best thing was I didn’t have to do anything. Everything was in my daughter’s hand and the teacher’s. If anyone one is looking for Home School I would recommend Forest Trail Academy.

Forest Trail Academy is an excellent alternative to the traditional public school. My daughter has special needs and could not advance academically at the public school. Since enrolling at Forest Trail Academy, she is working at grade level and truly enjoys doing school work. Being able to work at her pace has been beneficial in helping her grasp new concepts. She also benefits from the one on one time we have while she is doing school work. I definitely recommend Forest Trail Academy.

As a teacher with Forest Trail, I see how much everyone cares about our students. They are in good hands with every member of our staff.

The school does prepare you for college and if there is a problem with a site or anything that comes up they do help you fix it quickly. Sometimes the material the teachers gives you doesn’t go with the assignments so you have to try and figure it out on your own!
