Wow! What great service. Dropped guitar in on a Saturday afternoon for shielding and a setup….get a message on Sunday afternoon saying it’s done!
Price was more than fair. Guitar is playing like a dream (and it’s nice and quiet now).
Would recommend Steve to anyone needing professional guitar work with a smile and fair prices.

Steve has serviced my acoustic and electric guitars. Steve's work on my guitars really improved them and they are now a joy to play. Amazing Guitar experience

Great for repairs and setups, very consultative process
I has some guitars and basses with various issues, from wiring and neck adjustments, to action and intonation issues. Steve had a look for me and we walked through the issues and what I wanted done, we agreed that the setup on one of my guitars was fine but I left him the others to work through and within a week I had a report showing his findings and the repairs he had made. I am very happy with the work, he has fixed all the major issues and set the guitars up just as we discussed. Next time I have guitar issues, or pick up something new or used, I will get him to have a look for me.

Forestwood Instruments did a first class job.
Forestwood Instruments did an amazing job servicing my acoustic guitar, he outlined clearly after inspecting the guitar what work he thought was required. I couldn't be happier with the results, he reshaped the frets, cleaned the fretboard and body, restrung and set the action so it plays beautifully. Thank you, I highly recommend, the service was fast and efficient, my instrument was ready for pick up at the time suggested.

I found Forestwood online. They did a fantastic job of restringing my steel string acoustic guitar and doing some other minor repairs. They provided a fast service, communicated throughout the process and Steve was very personable, friendly and it was clear he truly has a love for guitars.
