I approached Fortis for support and guidance with a BADR process for my limited company.
Although the process is not yet fully complete due to HMRC’s extended processing times, I’ve been thoroughly satisfied with the support I’ve received from every team member I interacted with at Fortis. The process, advice, and steps were always clear, timely, and delivered to a high standard. I found the team to be both knowledgeable and well organised. I would absolutely use their services again for BADR in the future, without hesitation.

In particular, Anna was outstanding in managing my case: professional, prompt, and incredibly knowledgeable. There is nothing I would have wanted done differently.

What was probably the most difficult time of my life was made much easier by the team at Fortis. Compassion was shown to a very high level during the initial discussions & as the process evolved everybody I spoke to there acted in a very professional manner whilst be kind & considerate at all times. I was completely misguided by fortis, I was insisted over the phone by several personel to go into voluntary liquidation and they will protect my business and from being disqualified as a director but unfortunately they did nothing as they promised and I got letter from insolvency that I would be disqualified as a director for 11 years .

I would easily made a payment plan of my company debt and keep my company and business and everything in order but I just listen to them and will have to regret entire of my life.

I should not have paid them rather should have paid the creditor so was the biggest mistake in my life to trust fortis insolvency.

So I request all not to trust them on the phone if they say something or make any sort of commitment please get a written statement from them or rather it’s absolutely better not to involve with fortis.

the staff are horrible there please avoid at all costs. the ip were very rude on the phone. they start adding more and more into your debt. I wish I never used them. it's been a total waste of my 6 years of life... please these people need sacking

In my opinion - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I approached them to deal with a small company insolvency in early June 2021 and was given at the time advice that seemed sound and progressed to November 2021 when the initial payment was made. After the balance was paid the company went very quiet - I tried contacting many, many times and was given different information from 'we only have to review the file' to 'we have too many new customers to bother with yours'.
There was then a protracted process due to some bad advice given, but it was always on my part to chase and pester to get information about the next steps. I was also at times refused information by the Corporate Insolvency Manager.

I found the staff to be brusque and difficult to talk to and was of the opinion that once the fee was paid they had no interest in the case, including having to chase for promised annual reports and such like.

The case took over two years to complete - some of this time was due to bad advice about redundancy funds that had to be repaid, but if dealt with properly I am sure the time could have been halved

Everyone gets into a bad situation some times after trying to get back on track I kept failing bring me down even further I applied for a loan and got declined I then reached out to fortis and swiftly they explained my options this shed light on options out there the team is great but my special thanks goes out to priya and jade for talking through it (even when I got agitated and a bit wound up ) they remained professional and started again and already had a back up plan incase didn't go to plan ( not that it did ) I.V.A now in place and can start again with a clear mind set THANK YOU VERY MUCH OUTSTANDING WORK

A man phoned me responding to my enquiry, I explained that I needed a few days to get my head together and sort out what letters I have for what debts (I have ADHD so this is a struggle). He then proceeded to force the business upon me, implying he knew my situation better than me. I even said I was happy to use them in a few days just as soon as I had my things sorted, He told me I was disregarding everything he was saying, got very rude with me, and then called me a liar when I said I actually liked the way the company seemed to handle things. Defo won’t be using you now 😂 get better salesmen.
