Switching to Fortis was a no brained…

Switching to Fortis was a no brainer for us. Our previous payment processing company kept increasing in fees and Fortis was able to save us significantly. Margaret made getting started SO easy and helped us with troubleshooting an issue with our terminal. Highly recommend!

My main contact was Tom Ervin

My main contact was Tom Ervin. He reached out to me a while back and was patient while i handled some things before I could even talk about switching card companies. Tom worked with my schedule to go over everything and help me feel comfortable with making the switch. He is a wonderful person and does everything he can to help you. I just signed up with Fortis but from my phone experiences alone, I cannot wait to have a long working relationship with them and Tom as well.

Saves me a lot over the last complaint and it was seamless transition. Great support. Less fee and help with compliance. Margaret set me up!

Fortis makes payment processing easy!!

We are a small chiropractic practice and Fortis has been great for our business! Super easy, simple payment processing. Great customer service, especially grateful to Kristin Terry for helping us get started. Would highly recommend, we have been using for a few years now and have had no issues.

Great for Chiropractors

Our Chiropractic office started using Fortis pay a couple months ago. Jeffery Winters helped get us going, it was a smooth transition. He has always been there to answer any questions. Fortis pay is easy to use, and we love the ability to send invoices when needed.

If i could give 0 Stars I would

If i could give 0 Stars I would, but alas. As a small business owner I was attempting to setup Fortis with Gunbroker however when I entered in the processor information and attempted to test the connection with GB it would fail. After several phone calls and emails to my Website provider (CoreForce) It was determined the issue was with Fortis. Called them, apparently for roughly 7 months now my account was not fully setup. A little annoying, prolly an email somewhere i missed so thats on me. However, the surprise I got a few days later when Fortis tried to hit me with a 1k "credit card processing fees" charge was a bit shocking to say the least. I called Fortis to try and get some answers and it turns out when I attempted to test the connection between GB and fortis, I can only assume GB tried the transaction lets say 50 times before failing out. However Fortis counted each and everyone of those (for a total of roughly 3.5k times) as a credit card transaction despite my account not being fully setup. I was told on the phone by several people that essentially its tough luck, and im expected to pay. I spoke to one individual who actually tried to help me with the issue, and pushed it upstairs. I was to call back and speak to her again today only now however my account is in collections (which took them only about 2 days to do) and all my calls get routed to someone who wants me to just pay them and not help with the matter. The main issue of which of course was why was I not notified of the thousands of transactions being made from the same vendor, for the same amount, and why was there not a stop put in place to prevent these transactions from continuing to occur? The lady I spoke to on the phone stated that a stop was supposed to be in place and a flag was put on my account to be notified but noone seemed to do either. An now im suddenly expected to pay for something that; from where im sitting, is a failure on the part of Fortis.

I would strongly advise avoiding Fortis as they certainly dont seem to care about their customers in the slightest.

This company is a complete scam

This company is a complete scam. They have little to no knowledge about their own program. From set up, which had to be done 3 times because they kept doing it wrong, to payments that appeared processed but were not actually. Customer service is a joke but they have to be tired of getting complaint after complaint. Then after cancelling our account they continued to charge or attempt to charge our account for 2 months.

Update: As I said your customer service is horrible so I won't be running around that circle again. We've done that many times with no result.

Kalyn is the best!

Kalyn has been amazing with this whole process of getting setup. She is great with communication, and available when I need her. She knows the answer to any questions I have or who to refer me to if she can't answer them. She's on it!

Very gracious in educating me in Payment Gateways.

I am new to Payment Gateways for our business and reached out to 5 different companies. Kelly Yaneff and her supervisor Dominic were the only ones to offer an affordable plan suitable to our small business. This will save us money and they have both promised to be there for me if I have any questions. This is great customer service and I look forward to a long client relationship with Fortis.
