Received the light blue dial EnduroTimer on the last day of 2021! It is a beauty!

So I would say that over my past 30 plus years of buying time pieces this one was easy. The watch is better than observed from pictures on site! Understand that I own and and have ownes many high end watches. This piece arrived packed properly, and was a nice arrival..
I believe it is a keeper for sure as I decide on strap changes on the horizon!👍

The watch is outstanding and worth the wait as it was a custom design

I have a collection of over 20 watches including Rolex, Tag, Tissot and Seiko (Japan) but this has become my favourite daily watch with a Bond NATO. Though a quartz watch it is worth adding to your rotation.

And yes, I love mechanical watches.
And I still like quartz watches, especially if they have a VK64 Mechaquartz inside.

And that's why sometimes a British microbrand finds its way into my collection, even if it "only" has a Seiko VK64 Mechaquartz chrono installed.
With this movement, the feel of the chrono module is on a par with a fully mechanical movement. It runs with a "creeping" second. The zero setting also takes place "in one jump". Both start and stop feel completely like a mechanical chronograph.

Today it arrived with DHL, my brand new Drive King in Cream & Green, serial number 2 of 50 pieces from the first batch. The broadcaster paid for customs, of course, that was completely stress-free for me.

I have to say, it is a very beautiful watch through and through, which shines with many details that can hardly be captured in photos.

It starts with the subtle blue reflections of the AR coating on the inside, or with the refractions of light on the edge of the beveled, rather thick sapphire crystal, and continues in the matt, glossy, bilateral rotating, gently locking bezel, which is a small one made of metal, that carries a luminous point that is also put into a small metal ring.
The overhang of the glass also casts beautiful "shadows" and "zones of light" on the dial. As a result, the clock and the dial appears to be quite lively when it is in motion.

The polished crown is twisted and is reminiscent of a gear wheel - a very nice detail!
It is laser-engraved on the side with a matt finish and shows the company lettering in a glossy manner.
The multi-layered dial is not made of plastic but of metal and is embossed with a very fine "sand structure" under pressure.

The thick 60s-style indices, which have a T-shaped Superluminova filling, are raised on top.
At 3 and 9 o'clock there are two tiny luminous points, also set in metal.
The 24h pointer is not illuminated.

Overall, the dial has a similar matt sheen, a little bit darker but comparable to my Nomos Ludwig.
The Printing of the seconds scale and the speedometer scale is extremely fine and extremely precise.
The logo is very discreetly printed, and the word "England" adorns the 6 o'clock position above the date disc, which is also painted in the same colour as the dial.
The bottom of the clock is also solid, with the company logo, a tiger head, and is embossed with beautiful indentations.
And at night the hands and index shines beautifully blue, thanks to Superluminiva (BGW9)
The strap is completely solid, including lugs, and the horns are praiseworthy drilled to make it easy to change the strap.
The strap can be shortened with a fine screwdriver because the links are screwed together. Fine adjustment is possible in several positions in the folding clasp by moving the pin.
There was also a key ring, an elaborate booklet and a large, multi-nested box with a pillow.
All in all, I am very satisfied and am pleased with the beautiful watch.
