Very poor reclamation service

I brought in a reclamation on a phone (that I use for work and daily usage). The employee offered to send my phone to their repair shop, this would take 10 to 14 days after which I would either have my phone back or a price for repairing (if Elgiganten did not se this as a reclamation).

To summarise I handed in a reclamation on a phone without getting a replacement or even knowing whether I will have to pay to get a working phone or not.

I personally work in a store very similar to Elgiganten and know how much better a reclamation service can be with very little effort.

An all together awful experience

I ordered a iMac Pro to be collected from Elgiganten in Gentofte. I received an SMS that it was ready and that I could come and collect it. I went to the store the next day and went to the collections counter. Here, I waited 35 minutes before receiving service (they weren't very busy and further more each time the warehouse door opened you could see about six customer service agent standing chatting in the warehouse area). Eventually when I did get service they couldn't locate the product. Eventually the service agent came with a product that had been opened and said to me that he had opened it to check the contents. I said that I couldn't accept the product as it had been opened and I wasn't about to give a gift to someone else where the seal had been broken. He told me that I was downright unreasonable and that he had used a lot of time to find the product etc. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told I would need to wait a further 20 minutes or more. I declined and left. Previously I have made all our private and company purchases through Elgiganten, this year alone. I will never buy anything there again. What an awful experience. The service has always been poor, but this was just degrading, for me and the people who work there.

tl:dr Tell your customers that their delivery time has changed!
Ordered an Oculus Quest for my bachelors project, was promised it would arrive on the 7th of June, when the day came I didn't recieve anything and decided to call, they told me that the order had been pushed forward one month due to production, fair enough. I wait the month and go to my order to check the date again, and lo and behold they moved it another month, not Elgigantens fault and not what I'm mad about. The issue is that they did not inform me in any way at any point, so I might have a chance to buy a used or something in the mean time. I am writing a bachelors project with this tech, time is of the essence!
I then wanted to complain about this one thing, and turns out they dont want complaints, easy to see why their trust pilot is so low.

No solution but still sell you a product you cannot return.

I bought the best headset with microphone available at the store. I wanted a thread so the mike is close to my mouth as I interview in crowded places. It was absolutely rubbish - interviewee and me only heard each other far away and soft. I went back but was not allowed to give it back as it was in-ear. Service desk said, after I explained the problem “there actually is no good solution”. So i was sold a bad solution instead of explaining this to me. A product I cannot use. Service desk refused to take it back, sent me in the end to the girl that sold it to me so convincing. She In turn said the service desk was the only one who could give money back and that she was sorry she “sold me a product that could not do what I wanted from it.” But I had bought this after I exactly explained to her what I wanted from it, being able to do interviews. I was sold a product that cannot do what the seller promised. She said she was sorry she sold me the wrong product and there was absolutely nothing she could do. And also - maybe I should talk to the sound specialist standing in the back of the store to find a good solution.

Wow.

Never have I been treated this bad in a store.

I bought a phone samsung A70 on the 21/9 in Elgiganten ( falkoner allé 21, butikk213, 2000 frederiksberg). I asked the person who sold it to me if I could use it in Argentina and he told me that I could after a month of using a Danish sim card. I did, however, the phone doesn’t work in Argentina. I contacted Elgiganten and they said sorry that I had been misinformed and that they had sent my case to management, but I have not got any answer yet. Before telling me that they had sent my case to management, they told me that I should call a Danish phone number for 5 minutes. However, my phone doesn’t work. I cannot call any number. I paid 3700 dkk and I have a phone that doesn’t work at all. Erika Lomiento.

Don't ever buy a computer from that and…

Don't ever buy a computer from that and never buy their insurrance "Tryghedsaftale".
I brought my computer in for repair almost 3 months ago and I am still waiting for it. They keep saying it will be ready soon etc etc etc but nothing happens. Their service center is not doing anything serious about it.
Waste of money.

gute food but thei apple food overpric.
i bestil køleskab and it come nekst dey. bad servic becaus i was no ready to instaler. and they say no to instalr 4 me. so 1 star bro.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Don't even bother coming here. Unavailable for calling and they have no clue about their own stock and their stores. If you like "maybe's" and "i don't knows" this is the store for you

Came to swap an hdmi cable (wrong buy) …

Came to swap an hdmi cable (wrong buy) for another cable. That could not be done at the counter - I could pay the new cable, and then go to service center to get the 199 kr back. There was one clerk there and took 40 min to get my money back.. ridiculously poor service.. (in Vangede)
