I'm in ecommerce space for more than 8 years, and I still haven't found a platform better than Foundr. They are the synonym for great marketing and I have learned so much both from their free and paid content. Currently listening to Start and Scale 3.0. So many great insights!

I had subscribed to Foundr+ All-Access $1 Trial for 7 days but was lost on the information that it renews to $99 after seven days. I later realized money was deducted for the renewal. I was distraught because I couldn't afford a subscription of that value so I reached out to customer support. Conan responded to my email and he was so professional the way he handled my issue. He made me feel confident that I could trust the company he worked for. He was polite and tremendously helpful. Conan makes being a customer service agent attractive.

After the Foundr platform changeover happened, I lost all my courses. I went straight to the chat and Pearl reinstated my old courses in minutes and I was able to log back in and continue my learning. I love the Foundr courses as they are very practical and their customer support is EXCELLENT!

In the beginning I took this course, for some reason could not follow it, It was as though someone was teaching me a different language for a day and then turned to me and said you understand - Hell No I do not understand. So I wanted a refund - They would not give me a refund of my hard earned money - telling me I had passed the refund date which I think was Bull-crap - So they offered other courses and that is where I am today. Really I wanted a refund of my large sum of money that I worked hard for. ALL I CAN SAY IS BUYER BEWARE.

Updated Review: I was unhappy with the cancelation initially but the customer support team has been really great in the entire cancelation process - I like the fact that the company is ready to listen to its users. This is so important and is so refreshing to see Foundr do what a lot of companies lack in this day and age.
Looking forward to seeing how the cancelation process to Foundr+ will evolve.

Good:
1. Overall very solid. There were some good nuggets of information and some really good speakers that provided actionable insight.
2. Foundr chat moderators were helpful adding context to the strategies and providing clarity as well.
Could be Better:
1. Finding brands and founders that have built brands bootstrapped from $0. One speaker was talking about brands that had been around for 30+ years and while there are lessons we can takeaway they are not in the DTC space or did not originate there.
2. Speakers like Guy Kawasaki are some of the best to do it but respectfully they have not done anything in today's DTC space. His talk was more of a fireside chat.
3. This was not a REAL Live event - they were prerecorded with Nathan presenting it live. There should be time for 5-10 minutes for feedback and questions and clarity. Some of the videos were already on the YouTube page
4. Would like more resources to either download or review that supplement what the speaker was discussing.
5. Was a little unorganized. We didn't have an agenda with the times for each speaker (eg 9:00 - Guy Kawasaki, 10a - Gretta, etc). We also had 30 seconds before the next speaker; no breaks or intermissions.
6. Also one of the speakers for HexClad said his biggest hack at the DTC Summit was marketing at Costco (essentially a brick and mortar strategy). Please vet their information prior to the summit for DTC summit users. I think this should be for people that are bootstrapping and trying to figure out either how to start or why they aren't successful using DTC strategies.
Overall pretty good but as one person suggested an AMA session would have been more valuable.

I love the value Foundr is offering to its users. The courses are easy to navigate and complete and packed with a ton of useful information. Far more than what you can learn from your business degrees. Most companies make it extremely hard for its users to cancel their memberships but the support I received from the Foundr team was flawless. For the first time I feel bad for canceling my membership to anything because of the outstanding value and support they offer but I am certainly going to hop back on as soon as I can.
