Great technician!

Last week we had to upgrade our Foxtel to a Dish plus Aerial.We knew it was a difficult task as new cables had to be distributed through loft in 2 storey house & another underneath foundations.Sam had to spend many hours solving this problem but after plan A plan B were abandoned he did it from plan C.Lots of difficulty inside roof & under house but task was completed very satisfactory.As an observer I thought the amount of time spent photographing safety measures etc & sending back to office was excessive & wasted a fair amount of time on actual installation.Just my opinion.
All in all a very satisfactory installion by a very thorough technician.Jim.

I had signal issues and found their…

I had signal issues and found their online chat very helpful. I was given 3 dates for a technician to come out for the service. They were in constant contact with their arrival time. Justin the technician arrived as expected and he was great . Very polite, friendly and fixed my problem without any issues.

Customer for over 22 years

Customer for over 22 years. Rang and said that Foxtel had great deals for new customers but nothing for existing customers. The guy on the phone offered me a $8 discount. So much for being a loyal customer. AND the worst customer service.

Extreme forceful sales when trying to cancel

I have been a foxtel client for 5 plus years. After trying to tighten the budget and realising that most of the content is avaliable on all the streaming services I already have it was time to say good bye. I logged into my account, no sign of a close account button, started the chat, no able to do it via that portal, need to call I'm told (odd because they verified my identity and the chat put it in writing so legally I'm sure that would be a legal form of notice) never mind I'll call.

For my 5 years of service I was met with some of the most forceful sales methods I have ever faced and I spent 20 years in real estate! I repeated on 4 occasions that I was experiencing financial difficulties and was not interested In any options I just wanted to cancel. In the end I requested to be placed on hold until my request was carried out as I no longer wished to speak to the person on the phone. I hope to God they do no do this to little old ladies or people in real financial stress, creating a more stressful situation!

Won’t refund non authorised transaction. Customer for over seven years

Customer for over seven years . Cancelled contract with over 12 months notice. Still charged me $29.00 refused to refund. Called my bank to dispute. Wasted over 6hours in calls and emails. Won’t even acknowledge. Activated my account again. No one cares or can be trusted won’t release voice recordings. Very bad employees or company. DC Singleton.

30 minutes on hold trying to sort out an account issue that foxtel stuffed up by changing my plan incorrectly, said they needed to transfer to another department 5 mins later a new rep answers the phone no details and the conversation starts again, ridiculous customer service, hopeless, frustrating

Foxtel useless techs

I had technician come to my house on Wednesday because neither of my boxes were working.He adjusted the devices so they would run off my wifi.
Long story short now one of the boxes still doesn't work at all and I can only get free to air channels on the other,
Apparently that's good enough, I absolutely hate foxtel but some programs you can't watch without it.

am a Foxtel business customer was told when we installed the system that there was a dedicated support team devoted to business IQ customers, however when one of my boxes went down i called the so called dedicated number was on hold for a fair while only to be told that the tech rep could not try to deal with the problem as she was not trained in this system but would get someone to call back, next day i received a call telling me that there was a technician in the area but he had no equipment to fix the box in other words replace it and would not be back in the area for 3 -4 weeks again this is the dedicated IQ technician but he has no IQ boxes ??? so my business has a room down for 3 weeks just because Foxtel are unorganised and there customer service is non-existent company is a joke

After 15 years decided we did not…

After 15 years decided we did not require their services.
Took 45 mins to cancel subscription and had to be completed on the phone.
Foxtel would have reduced our monthly payment by almost 50% to retain the business !!!
Now services have been cancelled 2 days prior to expiration date.
Good on you Foxtel we have also now cancelled our recently acquired Kayo subscription …..

Extremely poor support service

after 3 telephone calls and been transfer to 3 to 4 different people having to repeat my identity each time trying to organize a disconnect and reconnection at a new address and being told that the technician was a free service because we had been a customer for nearly 20 years we then find out later after another call (25 minutes wait time !)and 3 different people that the service had not being booked in and it would cost us $135. The language barrier is terrible an very frustrating. All I could hear was background noise of children and street music while on hold. Why pay a extremely high price for very poor support.

soo bad..where do i start?.

where do i start.. just so bad that i can't to go into detail.. would be here longer than i was on the phone to them..close to 3 hours 5 calls, cut off twice and on hold for at least 1hour in between..still no joy and still looking at blank screen!?!..
the c/s guy actully told me that there was nothing he or i could do about this and he couldn't disconnect me so i would have to just accept it!??!

Whatever happened to rewarding loyal…

Whatever happened to rewarding loyal ongoing customer, they only offer cheap packages for new customers which is extremely annoying. I called foxtel today only To be advised they can’t offer me any other plan than what “the system is guided by” I am on a platinum and that’s the best deal they can do for a 20+year customer, wouldn’t even upgrade my iq3 box for free.. Disgusting way to run a business

Tried to cancel my subscription

Tried to cancel my subscription, was on the phone for 40 minutes as the Customer Service representative repeated “BUT WE HAVE GAME OF THRONES” I then reply that “I do not care in the slightest about any of these shows, I would like to cancel” for them to reply “BUT WE HAVE HOUSE OF CARDS” and then proceed to read out every TV show on the platform. After finally being able to cancel, i’ve had 2 calls since with representatives telling me they can offer me the same plan I was originally on for $70 less a month… to which I reply, no thank you. For them to respond with “BUT WE HAVE GAME OF THRONES” Honestly cannot wait to see the back of them. Absolute shambles.

Currently on hold to cancel my Foxtel ……

Currently on hold to cancel my Foxtel … it’s been 1 hr and 20 mins … want to hang up but I also want the boxes cancelled … haven’t turned Foxtel on now for 2 mths .. I think it can go …. Sick of not being able to talk to anyone at Foxtel … wish I could run my business this way and still get paid .. 🙄
