I spent over $1,000 using DH Gates. I made about 40 different orders thru different vendors. The first two purses that I received were pretty nice so I ordered more. That was more like a bait & switch. I had 8-9 vendors send my items to addresses in different states. My packages were shipped to Minnesota, Arizona, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania but I live in Texas. Covid is going on so why would these People sit & scam People. We work hard for our money & don’t deserve this. I was so upset, I kept contacting the Sellers but they were no help and DH Gates didn’t do much either. Now I’m out of all this money and plus I have no product. 2 of the purses that I did received were so bad I threw them in the trash. Don’t order from them. This site should be banned.

Total scam! Purchased a bag from Lady bags and it was cheap plastic. Wouldn’t refund me, came late even tho I payed for fast delivery. Credit card will do a charge back thankfully.

I have ordered bracelets and it has been great. Just do not order from seller Lady bags. And pay attention to the reviews. Learned most of them are fake.

There is a seller on dhgate cwj 123456 please Be aware that seller will take your money!!! I ordered a jacket a few weeks ago and it never was shipped, I have reached out to them and no response.. I have threatened to report them and still no response at this point I will call my bank and file a dispute and never buy anything from that seller.

I’ve used Dhgate for a few purchases and they have a dispute system available should things go wrong with the seller. So I’ve always shopped thinking I’m safe because if things go wrong I will just open a dispute and they will sort things out.How very wrong and silly of me for thinking this!
I purchased a watch for £163, after taking over a month to be delivered it arrived, however it was faulty in several way including not keeping time but the main thing it was fake!
I thought not to worry, I will just open a case with dhgate. Next day they replied and said they would refund in full and it would take 5-10 days. So I waited and no refund in my bank so I sent another message to dhgate, and another message and 14 days later I had an email saying the refund message was sent in error. I was totally shocked i sent another 14 emails asking why and never ever had a response.
My conclusion is dhgate totally supports their sellers and backs them no matter what, also I don’t think the owners of dhgate care how they make their commission from sellers even if items are fake. Dhgate is an absolute disgrace, customer service is non existent. If you have an issue they back the sellers.
The UK should really think about blocking this website to stop innocent buyers from being scammed. I’m going to try trading standards for their view on this.

Dhgate's website advertises "Local Warehouse". Purchased a carbon integrated handlebar in gloss finish for $67.71, as per seller's listing. Received a handlebar in matte finish 30 days later. Spent a week arguing with seller, who said that gloss handlebars are $87.00; matte are $67.71. Told him to check the error in his listing. He says that he doesn't make mistakes! I want to return item, he says he'll refund when handlebar is returned. Here's the best part: There is No Local Warehouse! Shipping back to China would cost me over $63.00! I file a claim with Dhgate, referring them to my order which clearly shows an image of a gloss handlebar for $67.71. Their best and final offer is a refund $20.00 and I keep the handlebar. This is what you can expect from Dhgate.

Its a shame because you are giving decent sites a bad name and just causing mistrust.

DO NOT USE DHGATE!

I purchased 100 pieces and the seller sent 4 pieces of the wrong item. I opened a dispute with clear evidence of the scam and escalated it to DHgate. Their customer service is terrible, they ignored the evidence and only refunded £45 of the £95, this is not acceptable. If you do not receive the items that you have purchased you should be entitled to a full refund NOT a 50% refund.

The seller on DHgate has also scammed other customers the same way, but DHgate have done nothing about it. Do not use a company that supports scammers.

I made the mistake of shopping on this site.
I registered and found the product I wanted, I always research sellers no matter what online shopping site I use, so I chose a seller that had 1000s feedback, however not all positive and an overall satisfaction rate of 96.1%. So I went and ordered thinking it would be okay.
My item arrived well packaged but very damaged to the point that it smashed, dented and no use at all. I contacted the seller who then stated it’s not his fault, not his problem and to get it fixed at my cost at a local watch store in the UK. I replied stating it’s not even fixable they offered the equivalent to £7.50 and again telling me to get it fixed. I was absolutely shocked and told the buyer no way. Anyway wasn’t getting anywhere so I opened a dispute with DHgate, I got a reply very quick to be told that they would punish the seller so that they can’t do business anymore on DHgate and agreed with me totally, they then went on to say we’ve given me $20 dollars, GBP £16.30, I was like, what the hell, my spent $164 watch that good for nothing and you gave me $20!!
I replied to DHgate and saying $20 is pointless it’s damaged, never had a response. And guess what the seller never got punished like they said and is still doing business 3 months later.
So I just put it down to a lesson learned, left the seller negative feedback with pictures of the watch and thought I will never use DHgate again.
The day after I left the negative feedback seller contacted me then saying he would offer me a $10 dollars discount off another item if I removed the review and you must remove review first. Well I think you can guess my reaction, begins with F and ends with F!!
Anyone out there if you are thinking of using DHgate and in particular seller “Linlove” then think twice!!!
My lesson is learned, DHgate totally support sellers even when they are in the wrong, and if you lucky to receive your damaged order and it’s damaged be prepared to loose a lot of money. Suppose I should have know who a Chinese site like DHgate would side with, and that’s a Chinese seller.
Don’t go thinking that other Chinese websites are different, there not, there all the same!!!
And another thing I’ve noticed since putting my mobile number on the site I’ve had 100s of calls and texts trying to sell insurance, energy, credit cards, loans and car accident call centres, so I’m guessing they sell your mobile number.
For me a lesson learned and at least I only lost $164, others loose thousands.

dhgate is an absolute rip off...the guys will pretend to send your items to a whole different state then...............when you dispute it they act all stupid and tell you it has been delivered or that you should pick it up...............do not ever buy from them they are thieves and liars....................better to throw your money right down the toilet directly.......................lord.....................do not do it

the worst ever, the website has a lot of scammers. do not trust them. fake tracking numbers, send you empty packages. DHgate customer service is the worst. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Fake tracking number and no response from seller. DHgate claims if seller doesnt respond to dispute in 5 days your refund will be processed the 6th day. Lies! If you leave a negative review they respond to it appearing that they are concerned and want to help you get resolve your issue but its just for show! Scam website!! Order 3228802309. i will remove negative reviews if I get refunded promptly!

if I could leave zero stars I will. Ordered 2 lithium battery packs, seller gave a fake tracking number and is now not responding. I requested a refund and nothing. I'm out of $589.00. Seller had good ratings and over 200 sales. Don't do business with China.

Order 3211738258: this order was never shipped by a seller that doesn’t exist anymore in their website, meaning Scammer!!! So now DHgate still pending my refund unnecessarily. I’ve been chatting to their customer service online Team almost everyday and they already made several reports about this refund but their refund team in Beijing never responded so I still don’t know when they will give me my refund. I even Emailed their customer Service team who never replied. I message DH gate In their website but all went futile. MAYBE THEY DONT HAVE PLAN TO GIVE THIS REFUND because this was completed on July 2nd but never processed that’s why up to now I’m still chasing it.To think that my refund is straightforward and yet they are still pending it without valid reason. Common DH gate, wake up, improve your refund system so a customer like me will not waste so much time chasing a straightforward refund. It’s Overdue your time frame!!!😩. I can say that DH gate is the worst website I ever used in buying items so Beware people🙄🙄🙄... Buy to their sellers who have good feedback or you will be like me who will be chasing refund. Or better buy in a reputable website like eBay,Amazon etc.not to DH gate. GIVE BACK MY REFUND.

Out of 30 items I’ve received 9. I’ve been mostly successful with getting my money back but some I’m still working on some. There’s alot of scams, fake tracking numbers etc..
You HAVE to do research on the seller before buying and even that’s not guaranteed!

Ordered my item, got sent a tracking number but now when I go into the app there is no order history and no way to contact the seller, won’t be buying from here again I’m pretty sure I have been scammed.

I’ve waited 3 months for my order but it never arrived so I opened a dispute with dh gate, another 2 weeks and they just say wait wait wait?,
I’ve open a case for a charge back with my credit card company to recover the money.

Received notice that my shipment was delivered to the wrong City and State. Tried reaching out to the seller and now the store does not exist! They send fake tracking numbers and hope the order clears payment before you notice.
