Great experience, Ben in the office was very helpful and on removal day four guys turned up which I was glad to see as there were big items of furniture to move and two small flights of steps at the front of the Property. We were still left with a container load of stuff in the U.K. to get moved over to France later. Despite calculating the volume of goods which we estimated at just under 60 cube it’s difficult to estimate awkward sized items so it’s just one of those things. They certainly had the lorry packed to perfection. Items were wrapped and padded between them so great care was taken as they loaded the lorry. They work like a team of worker bees very fast and efficient. On delivery to France just two of the original team arrived, Lee and Paul and they worked fast and efficiently and still had time to be friendly and super helpful. Everything arrived in good order and great care was taken in stacking everything properly. We were very impressed with the service provided and have used Franklins twice now so would have no problem in highly recommending them

Experienced a brilliant service from the Franklin’s removal team today. Arrived on time, professional throughout and provided excellent customer service. Special thanks to Carl, Jamie, Paddy & Kieron for making a challenging and complex house move so enjoyable.

This was not the simplest of logistical operations, however Jamie and Zak never lost their sense of humour, and Bev in the office did a stellar job pulling everything together! Will certainly use again for the next stage.

The team that undertook both sides of the move were efficient, friendly and professional. My partner took the overseas collection and I dealt with the Uk side. I think the team in the UK were called Dave and Jake (apologies if I got them wrong). Despite it raining heavily and having to walk up a lot of outdoor steps, they were smiling, chatty and really respectful of the house and the items. My partner forgot to get the QR code for the French side but I believe they were also excellent. Highly recommend Franklins and their team.

Everything went as well as it could have. Collection was quick and easy. Zach and Paul unloaded everything in like 10min at my place in Germany.
I shipped some important computer gear that even had a glass panel which was well taken care of. Also by far the best quote out of like 6 moving services I was in touch with.

Right from the start everything went smoothly. Bev in the office is fantastic dealing with anything that arises. Paul Tarbuck and Paul Heath arrived in France for my move back to the UK. They were excellent and very fast at loading, even managing my pride and joy classic car. I would highly recommend the company to anyone.

Jamie F. Jamie G and Lewis were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They moved the heaviest freezer known to man and were absolute legends. I cannot praise them highly enough. Franklins moved me 25 years ago..they were fab then...and are still fab...thank you...

The most enormous thanks to Franklins who have just completed our house move from the Midlands to London. We cannot fault this company, they have been fantastic and have helped make the gruelling process of moving as smooth and easy as possible. Many thanks to Bev in the office for her patience and reassurance during our numerous date changes in the months prior to our move. Additionally, a very special thanks go to our movers, the wonderful Lewis and Karl, who were the most superb team (dream team!) - they have offered us support, humour and have worked so incredibly hard over the past few days and have taken such great care of our belongings throughout the process. Nothing was too big to ask and they couldn’t have been more friendly and professional. An exceptional service from start to finish and we will be sure to use Franklins again in the future. They came highly recommended to us and we wont hesitate to highly recommend them going forward. Wonderful family business - you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for everything!

Great experience from start of emptying our previous home to helping us move in to our new one. Lewis, Kieran, Jamie and Michael have just left after a long day of hard work - nothing was too much trouble and they took great care of our furniture and homes.

We don’t normally leave reviews, however, we are making an exception due the fabulous experience we have had with Franklins removals. Bev has made the whole process of moving from the UK to France such a straight forward process. The pick up drivers in the UK were great and even managed to dismantle our oversized bed. Jamie and Daz have just dropped off our belongings to our new home in France and again were professional, timely and speedy with the boxes. They even put our bed back together! We would absolutely recommend anyone moving abroad contacts Bev and the team at Franklins. You won’t be disappointed.

I've used Franklins a number of times to transport household items from the UK to my house in France. Each time they have been extremely professional and friendly. Thank you Jamie and Daz for the excellent service.

We don’t normally write reviews but we felt Franklin needed a 5 star mention due to its complete professionalism from star to finish. We always do our own moves but because we were moving from the UK to France and faced with the complicated customs requirements and having a full house of very heavy furniture, we decided to go with a company. Right from the start, Bev provided us with clear, step by step instructions of how to complete and collect the information required for customs. The delivery guys arrived at our house in the UK when they said they would with 3 guys. We are naturally a little nervous of delivery personnel has they can sometimes not be very careful with walls and your furniture. This was quite the contrary, these guys were slick and ultra respectful. Our French house is in a mountain resort where the roads are definitely a little narrower and more complicated especially for a large 60 M3 truck, but they had no problem getting to us. Paul and Daz, the delivery guys in France really do however need a special mention. They were super hard working and careful and very exhausted at the end because our furniture was so heavy and lots of it. All in all, if you are considering a cross boarder move, don’t look any further, well done Franklin for making this as hassle free as possible.

A fantastic service from start to finish! We have moved back to the UK from France. Bev who organised the move was really helpful and on hand to answer any questions we had along the way, especially around customs issues.
Karl and Jamie were the guys with the huge van. Very friendly and efficient! They worked extremely hard to make sure everything got onto the van and took great care with our property, despite it raining.
Decent, honest, hard working and professional employees can be hard to come by these days.
They are a credit to the company.
Overall a thoroughly professional service who we would not hesitate to recommend!
