Has anyone had any contact with Frecycle - Richard Chapple recently? Is the company still going or have they done a runner? Is there a way to contact them through the EIS people?

Written by the company

Frecycle offers an app-based service that collects recyclables and waste material directly from the consumer. Using our app, people call Frecycle riders to collect their waste and our riders then sort their waste to ensure it is recycled properly. Customers receive a summary of their waste and are rewarded for their recycling with tokens. These tokens can be redeemed for eco-friendly products on our marketplace which are delivered back to them via our riders. They can also redeem these points with our partners like Amazon and Apple as e-vouchers.

Group Contact

Like many others I've been caught out by JM or GC, Cybex and Frecycle, but I have noticed that Charters & May and Cybex are no longer on this platform, if indeed they were, if the same happens to this Frecycle page we will all lose a forum.
A couple of people below have shared email address and I believe we should all make contact, it will then be secure and we can all pass information out of sight of persons that have stole our savings.
Thoughts??

Frecycle Scam…

I am an investor with Frecycle who bought shares thru the EIS scheme in 2022. Nobody seems to be responding on the numbers provided. Is anybody aware on what has happened to this company and do we have any hope of getting our money back?

Total scam

Total scam - very convincing pitch by Charter and May but totally crooked - 100% of everyone's money will never be recovered which obviously includes my own

Frecycle EIS scam

I have also been scammed here by Bobby Hughes of Charter and May and then Allen and Atherton, and would like to get together with other shareholders to work out any possible way forward. I am afraid that it will be a very long process following the authorities investigations. I will not put contact details here but if there is a group, please let me know.

Definitely a scam guys

Definitely a scam guys, try contacting your bank to get the money back (it worked for me) plus there are a few links to Op Cassidy in the reviews, this is a legitimate police operation and they will send you updates (I’ve not had one recently though). Good luck!

Fraudulent Allen Atherton and Charter & May are…

Allen Atherton and Charter & May are fraudulent companies that invite investors to sign up to shares in companies purported to belong to HMRC'S EIS scheme. We hired an investigator firm to investigate these fraudsters who claim to have offices in London premium locations. They also issued a London Stock Exchange unregulated announcement last year about FreCycle's purported IPO which was clearly FALSE. They have been reported to the UK Financial Conduct Authority, but beware if they have your details they will likely sell them and use them so you get targeted by fraudsters again, despite the fact that they are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Unfortunately last year there were many positive reviews on TrustPilot which we also flagged...

Also scammed

How can I get my money back? Like other here I ‘invested’ via Joseph Marks and Charter and May who became Allen and whoever! If anyone knows how to sort these clowns out and stand a chance of getting cash back then I’d love to hear about it. Also took money off me for Cybex Security too. Please contact me at amichalskiuk, it’s a yahoo address with com at the end. if you know how to start an action against Marks or whatever his real name is and the directors of these two companies. Trustpilot won’t allow me to add an actual address here.

I am an investor in Frecycle but it’s looking like I’ve been scammed as they seem to have disappeared. The phone lines are no longer in use and emails are not replied to.
I was told that the company was accepting an offer and that all the share holders were getting packs to sign and either accept the offer or not. Unfortunately nothing has materialised. I hope all the share holder’s get together and find away to get our money back and find out what’s happened.

No news from this company

There is no news from this company and nobody responds to your call. I invested money in this company through Charter and May. Then Allen and Atherton came in. Looks very strange. I hope something comes up soon.

Frecycle communication

My friend is invested here and it is very strange. He has had several glossy investor packs keeping him updated on progress. The last one said they were not floating on the stock market (24th April 23) as planned as they had sold the company, the sale would be complete in Jan 24. since then he’s had nothing or heard nothing, this was back in September. He’s had numerous calls and has spoken to people eventually, when he expressed his concerns he was told everything is still going ahead but the sale of the company is delayed due to the final price per share being agreed. The website being removed is a massive red flag as this is how they do their business. As mentioned previously it’s bazaar if it was a scam why would they bother with all the contact, somethings just don’t add up. Good luck all I hope it works out.
