This programme is simply not fit for purpose.
After spending almost 20 mins giving comprehensive prompts the result was ‘sorry there was a problem’.
The AI chat was useless and simply said they were sorry I was charged but they couldn’t refund credits as the (non existent) video segments had been produced. NO THEY HAD NOT.
There are far better programmes which are easier to navigate and don’t waste your time as this one does.
Spending 20 minutes to be constantly told I need to ‘refresh page’ is absurd.

A month wont give you enough credit to get a video for a 5 min song....

Absolute scam. Gets to the final stages of putting a video together and keeps failing. Asking to retry as it’s draining your credits. Then says you don’t have enough to finish the video and to buy a boost pack. No way to contact them or complain. Avoid.

100% Scam expensive to buy credit, which are drained for getting practically nothing done. Then when something is created you’re spending more credits to correct it.

Is ok till now. They give you for free 500 credits though it is not enough to make a video.

One of my main recommendations is to never use the "AUTO" button on the AI ​​assistant when creating a video. The reason is that if you leave it on AUTO, the assistant won't ask you if you like the images it's using. So, if it creates a scene that doesn't match your music, you won't be able to fix it.

Another tip: If you plan to make longer music videos (3-5 minutes) and intend to create several per month, keep in mind that you can only do so with the PRO plan. The credit allowance of the other plans isn't enough to create longer videos.

For example, a 2:17 HD video with 42 scenes cost me around 2100 credits.

Funny how in a space of 1 day, a spate of 5 star reviews pop up (employees and paid reviewers?).
Honestly everyone, keep away from this company. You will be glad you saw this review. Your credits disappear like water flowing downhill. Customer service is awful. You will be stressed out with trying to get a refund. Avoid at all costs. Thought it needed saying again after already leaving a 1 star review.

Honestly FreeBeat is simple to operate with lovely and amazing results but the aspect of lip syncing is a challenge for me as an artist that will love to produce music videos. Aside lip syncing, Free Beat is cool.

The site is scam. It doesnt tell you cost of the project upfront and only after a purchase is the cost provided.

The cost exceeds cost of their monthly plan for a simple 3 min video. The cost vs credits are not explain are not based on duration.

It is a complete scam.
I was so excited at getting a "free 15 sec clip." It looked to be good quiakity so I went ahead and purchased a membership. I looked up how the credit system worked. Uploaded my song and photo and then.... it just took my credjts and gave me nothing. It will continuously kwwo charging you and use all of you credits and still say you need to buy more. I'm out $40 and wasted my time. I have sent multiple message to support and even got on their discord to get help, only to find this is a common occurance. I am now in the process of notifying my bank and plan to contact the BBB.

Would definitely not recommend these guys than several videos and some of them came out pretty cool but the problem that you have to deal with stealing your credits from you because of their faulty and obviously untested programs that don’t work several times I had glitches, but yet my credit credits were disappearing and getting nothing in return.

I subscribed to create music videos. I described what I wanted in the video & uploaded my original track. Furthermore, I continuously received error messages stating that some images had errors over and over again. Note that all the media images were completely created by AI. Not one was mine. I asked repeatedly to the AI agent which pictures had errors because I checked reach in the panel & it stated all scenes (images/videos) were successful. After abut 3–4 days, it finally went through. It was not perfect, but manageable. I had to remaster the audio and tweak several scenes. Yes, I did reach out to customer service & received no response.

I tried again for a shorter video, and it was such a struggle as it did not give what I wanted and finalized the video before I was done. Again, customer service did not reply after several messages via email and social media to address this and the fact that freebeat has no way to unsubscribe. I had to cancel my Chime card to get out of this. Interestingly enough, my credit union declined the charge. That's why I used my Chime card, but that should have been enough for me to NOT pay a subscription to this service, but the free trial was successful.

The concept is nice & simple, but it has too many glitches and limitations, then to top it all off, no customer service and as of this date, no way to cancel. In addition, they have the same kind of video imagery feel for every video you create.

By the way, I created another video today as I still have credits left, and had the same issues.

Videos generated are so dissimilar to what is prompted that it seems comprised of premade stock video patched together. Chat spools out verbose "updates" during protracted waits to create the impression that something unique is being generated. Meanwhile. credits run down just short just before generation is "complete" and you have to purchase more credits in bigger bundles. Video output is not really responsive to prompts, and commonly includes people changing between genders for no reason. Telling ai in chat it's wrong is just used as a pretext to require more credits to regenerate and still end up with the same ridiculous video.

It's designed to make money NOT good videos. I've been trying to cancel or find how to cancel the membership and you just can't find it! IT'S ILLEGAL PREDATORY BILLING

There is no indication of how much a single video clip will cost when you start. It just keeps asking for more money along the way. Customer service is a joke. Give it a miss.

One of the worst AI generators out there. Overly complicated credit system, bad AI and poor customer service. Avoid.
