Reception staff were so accommodating and friendly. Fern did my procedure and was incredibly professional and lovely. Would highly recommend the clinic!!

Despite severe back pain I had been dismissed by nhs GP (see our physio), nhs physio (wouldn’t examine me, said was fibro flare up and would only refer me to pain clinic telephone service), orthopaedic consultant (mri clear, probably nerve, it will probably improve, discharged me), and private spinal specialist orthopaedic surgeon (mri clear, said it was muscular, discharged me despite my request for further assessment).
Raffaela and Trini have worked so hard to get to the bottom of the pain, and not dismissing my experiences. They have used so many different techniques, and today when I saw Raffaela and she managed to replicate the pain I experience and so identify the cause, I could have cried with relief.
I am now getting the right help I need, seeing the right consultant next week, and most importantly to me - I now know what I can and can’t do safely while the is injury is recovering.
My conditions aren’t straight forward, and often don’t follow text books. But these two physios are so experienced, qualified, and so interested in what they do, that they can somehow figure me out!

I have been treated by Maud Prost at Freedom Care clinic in Leeds. When I first attended I was in terrible pain and two other physios had been unable to help. She was able to find the source of the pain, recommended exercises and help to ease my discomfort. The communication outside of my visits is excellent and even though my condition is improving, it helps knowing I can see her should I relapse.
Maud makes my visits enjoyable - such a lovely and welcoming health care practitioner. I would highly recommend Maud at Freedom Care Clinics.

I’ve been seeing Maud at Freedom Care Clinic since last year and from my very first appointment she made me feel completely at ease. I was quite anxious initially, but her lovely, calm approach really reassured me.

Maud has helped me so much with my ankylosing spondylitis and other rheumatoid issues. She always listens carefully, takes the time to understand how I’m feeling and makes sure every concern is addressed.

After each treatment, I notice a real positive change and a significant improvement in my pain.

I’ve seen a massive improvement in my mobility and continue to have regular sessions because the benefits are so clear.

Maud is incredibly understanding, knowledgeable and clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. The clinic itself is also fantastic, all the staff are friendly, professional and welcoming, which makes every visit a positive experience.

Sam is very attentive, shockwave 4 treatments worked very well with a shoulder problem that I had struggled with for over twelve months.

Would definitely recommend.

This business operates with shocking disregard for patient safety and medical ethics. I am sharing my experience because they actively delete every negative review to mislead the public—don't let their fake 5-star rating fool you.

1. The Clinical Harm and Negligence
I visited Chloé Balay for treatment and woke up the next day with a massive lump in my neck. Clinically, this was a large hematoma (a collection of blood). While the swelling eventually went down, the treatment caused permanent and irreversible scar tissue damage, medically termed fibrosis.
I'm not even 30, but this visible damage has left my neck skin loose and saggy, an outcome I now need surgery or chemical injections to potentially fix.

Here’s where the breach of the duty of care occurred:

Failure to Stop: Even after I told Ms. Balay about the permanent fibrosis, she avoided accountability and continued performing neck adjustments on the injured area. Any responsible practitioner would have immediately stopped touching that part of my body.

No Internal Escalation: I notified the Clinic's reception that I had to cancel appointments due to the neck issue requiring a GP visit. This critical information did not trigger any internal patient safety investigation.

2. The Broken Promise: Informed Consent
When I signed their paperwork, I gave my consent based on the risks they disclosed. However, the serious side effect I experienced—permanent scar tissue damage (fibrosis)—was not mentioned anywhere in the consent form. This is a fundamental failure to obtain adequate informed consent. I was denied the right to make a fully informed decision about my own health because they didn't disclose this material risk.

3. Dishonest Business Practices and Cover-Up
The Clinic’s response to my injury has been abysmal and deceitful:

Refusal to Investigate: They have completely refused to investigate the clinical issue or the harm caused.

The Lie: When I posted my previous review, the Clinic claimed they had 'no idea' about my issues—a demonstrable lie, as their staff knew.

Review Suppression: This is a key part of their business model. They report and delete negative reviews on every platform (Google, Trustpilot). My previous 2 reviews were promptly removed shortly after the owner, Rod Gillingham, asked me to 'reconsider' them.

Financial Incentives: They actively ask people to post positive reviews with financial incentive, which is a highly unethical way to manipulate their rating and mislead potential patients.

I sincerely regret ever visiting these people. I am now pursuing legal action to get justice for the damage they have caused and the ongoing pain that has persisted for over a year.

Please, for your own health and safety, steer clear of this clinic. They prioritize profit and a perfect online score over patient well-being and professional integrity.

Very friendly staff! Treatment for sciatica was very good, actually amazed how good it was. Will be returning for more treatment.

My partner Sandra had been suffering from bad neck pain and diagnosed with bursitis of the hip, she had lots of physiotherapy that seemed to to do very little so decided to try Acupuncture at the Leeds freedom care clinic.
Mar De la Cruz was her practitioner and what a difference she made, very sympathetic to her pain and condition, explained everything putting her at ease, very professional,
The acupuncture treatment she administered made an almost instant difference lowering her pain levels greatly, I have to be honest I was skeptical about the treatment to start with but after just one session she was so glad she went, Mar was great and I would highly recommend the treatment and Mar she is brilliant, after just 3 sessions sandra is feeling so much better.

I recently attended the Leeds clinic. Fern was not only super professional and did a fantastic job on my LCN toenails but such a lovely friendly knowledgeable young lady.

I couldn’t recommend more! I went to the Manchester Clinic for the 1 hour deep tissue massage and it was honestly the best massage I’ve had. Franchesca is amazing. She is so professional and passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about giving you the best treatment and experience, she finds those knots and areas of tension and straight away just sorts it all out. She makes the session really personalised too and is so nice. I’ll definitely be back, and will spread the word! So glad to have found a place like this. Thank you so much!

I have seen Francesca Palmeiri twice for a thorough deep tissue massage. Francesca is highly professional and on each occasion I found the massage to be enormously relaxing and the beneficial effects lasts for several days. It is an excellent way to relieve stress and aches and pains. I shall definitely be making future appointments to see Francesca. I would also add she has a very engaging personality.

It was my first time to get my Neck treatment & been relieved after cracking it left side & right side, but the therapist was not able to pull & crack my neck upwards.
The neck massage warmup was also great.

I went to freedom care clinic for an Osteopath , I would highly recommend them and there services, Maud was very polite and explained each step along the way , wish I had gone sooner .

Deep tissue massage with Francesca was excellent. She carried out a full assessment before starting the treatment and also approached the treatment with a lot of care and thought. She also assessed how I felt after the treatment so that we can flex the approach going forward if necessary. Will definitely be having further treatments with Francesca.

I recently visited Lois for a sports massage on my calves and they have never felt better! I am now able to run with no calf pain and they feel much less tight! Lois was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and I would highly recommend her! Thanks again Lois.
