Slight hiccup with something that was not actually included in the quote, but that was successfully sorted. The hotel in Zanzibar put in the quote looks lovely, & we’re going to it. Perhaps we could have been offered more choice though? I’m sure if we asked, Tricia would have done so, but as time was short for us to make our booking we didn’t ask. Looking forward to our Safari & Zanzibar trip

Contacted Freedom Desinations on a Monday, and outlined what we were interested in as a package for an African safari.
We had been trying in vain for many weeks to get quotes for such a trip from another, high street Travel Agent. Freedom got back to me within 24 hours with a quote. Very responsive throughout, and I was happy to go ahead with a booking with them.

I am a worrier so arranging a holiday of this magnitude for me was something I dreaded.
Freedom Destinations were there to arrange everything and I must say that they did an excellent job.
The team listened to my wants and put together a wonderful experience for me and my wife.
I worried about luggage as we had stop over at a couple of places where our luggage moved to different planes
Went smooth as silk
I worried about collections at airports
No need as drivers were waiting to collect us.
First hotel in Singapore (The Paradox Merchant Court) was amazing.
Second Hotel in Kuala Lumpur (The Stripes) was so nice and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
Third place was a Beach resort called Berjaya and we upgraded to a bungalow on stilts and half board (well worth the upgrade)
We did all the tourist thing in all three destinations ( most included in the holiday price) and me and my wife agree that there isn’t a single word to describe how amazing this trip was.
Freedom Destinations did exceptionally well on putting this package together and we’re always a phone call away if I needed any help or information on the package.
The tour guides were great and a special thanks goes out to our guide in Singapore called Jingles. She was amazing. A font of knowledge and great sense of humour. Not only sticking to talking about the sights we were seeing but also giving a lot of information about life in Singapore.
Just to round this rather long review off and sum it up,

Service at hotels couldn’t be better.
If you go the The Paradox then look for Cindy at the reception. She is a font of Knowledge. Also the breakfast at this hotel is the best I have ever seen or had. It takes ages to walk around and choose what you want. Huge buffet breakfast and by huge I mean massive.

Made an enquiry about a holiday late one evening the next day I spoke to amber and with her expertise and guidance me and my partner had booked the holiday with ambers help that we wanted, excellent service provided.

We used freedom destinations back in 2017 for a month long trip and the whole process was seamless and stress free. They were exceptionally good in meeting our needs, in that we were travelling with 3 children, one of which is autistic. We had a fantastic holiday which was in large, down to them. Everything was covered from flights, hotels/ apartments, transfers, vehicle hire and all that comes with that and much more.

Fast forward to now and we have used them again. Our initial trip for 7 weeks that they helped plan, in a lot of detail, was shelved due to being refused the leave me and my husband needed from work so we went back to the drawing board and Caroline, armed with info around what we wanted, took less than 24 hours to come up with a holiday incorporating all that we wanted whilst also considering our daughters needs. No stress, no fuss, just as seamless as the previous booking. We are now beyond excited for our upcoming trip and whilst it isn’t what we had initially planned and much shorter, it’s every bit as marvellous.

The thing with this company is that they have people who cover specific countries. They have been to them, traveled all around them and so are great at giving recommendations. They equally, will advise against something if they don’t think it suits what you need - that kind of customer service may not be what people want but personally I value it. Anyone can say yes, this is great or that’s lovely but to say actually, I really think you ought to reconsider that plan/ aspect etc for whatever reason is something else. It shows they treat you as individuals, not just another client on a conveyor belt of clients. They want you to have the holiday you want, they won’t just sell you any old crap holiday because it’s easier. They invest their time and their expertise.

They are clear with all relevant information you need as well as pricing. They get some cracking early bird prices too.
Add to this, they are very fast at responding to calls and emails - try getting that from Expedia and similar companies. The consultant who plans/ books and oversees your trip is the same person from start to finish which makes things so much easier. They are good at what they do. I can still remember the name of our consultant from 2017 - that’s how good they are and what great lasting impressions they leave.

I would absolutely recommend this company. In fact, I have done twice in the last week, both of whom are very keen to start their freedom destination journey.

We have used freedom destinations for Australia, North America and Mexico. We will be returning to them in 2029 to book the original 7 week trip we planned when leave won’t be an issue. That will be for Singapore, Bali, Australia, New Zealand and hopefully LA.

If you haven’t used this company, I highly encourage you to do so!

Only at the booking stage so far, but Megan has been fantastic planning a detailed and complicated multi centre and multi tour trip to Australia touching all four coasts and spanning 38 days.

Nothing was too much trouble with several small re planning processes and Megan's suggestions and upgrades all look superb - she really made the process simple to follow and stress free.
