Your domain and account will shut down…

Your domain and account will shut down all of sudden one day and they will not provide any help. Prepare for that, don't do serious job with any of their services. Once you started to get more visitors, our account will be removed without any notification.

These guys are fraud

These guys are fraud. They give you the domain for free and if another customer pays for it they just take it from you and sell it to other. They also close domains as fraud just to make you pay for it. So the domains are not free. I recomend NOT to trust them and keep registering serious domains.

Lied about having the cheapest domains

Freenom are dodgy, just get a domain from namecheap.
Freenom shuts down domains without notification or reason. The customer support sucks.
Namecheap prioritises customer satisfaction over anything.
Additionally, Freenom say "cost price domains cannot be found cheaper elsewhere"
I compared Freenom to namecheap.
jffjfjid8rrjrvifururuuuv8rps.xyz was AU$0.65

On freenom it was US$5

Dont ignore bad reviews - AVOID!

As a professional, I usually ignore bad reviews and try things out for myself. That was a mistake. Freenom is 100% the worst. If you care anything about your domains, do not use them. If you're just playing around and want to experiment, great. They will not reply to your support tickets if you have a problem. If they do, it will be them asking you to keep waiting. Then after a few months of waiting, you ask for a refund. What happens? They cancel your domains and mark them as fraud! They never reply to your ticket either.
I've been buying domains since 2001. This is the worst experience I've ever had BY FAR. I promise you.... YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DOMAINS EVENTUALLY. Just be prepared for that! Oh and their free domains are borrowed. If someone likes your domain, they can register it from them in 5 seconds. Boom, not yours anymore. AVOID FREENOM AT ALL COSTS

Suspends domains without warning or reason

Suspends domains without warning or reason.

They don't provide support for either free nor paying customers. I've moved all of my domains away from them, and I would recommend you do the same. I use Cloudflare, but I am also confident in Namecheap. Both companies prioritize customer satisfaction over anything.

horrible

horrible. I had a great website up for 3 months, I tried logging into my account and couldn't. I did literally everything to contact them, I called and that is the only way you can get in contact with them. It took 5 phone calls for them to tell me they closed my account because of quality issues. They then proceeded to redirect the domain to a damn porn site. NEVER USE FREENOM.... Is there any way at all we can take down the company. it is horrible!!!!!!!!

It's horrible

It's horrible! absolutely horrible, I have a Minecraft server, and I wanted to make a website for it, I use Wix, and I hate the domain. I used Freenom to change it, I got a free domain to test it, IT DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE IT! I'm so glad I didn't buy a domain, don't use this, look at the other comments for more information.
