Have upgraded to the Premium plus plan after testing the Premium plan

Freepik – Great Ai photo and video generator Credit System can be improved.

Rating: 4 star Have potential for 5 star

I like there products and they are very user friendly. I have now upgraded to the Premium plus after testing it on the premium program.

It is great for photos and videos. I use my own photos of different people to place them in different scenes.

To make Videos from just a photo is possible and makes great results when you get it right.
The videos takes more credit to generate and you should keep it to a minimum, if not you will use your credit fast.

Their AI tools usually take 5+ attempts to get a decent result. Then comes the editing and upscaling—each step costs extra credits. Failed images still use up credits.
The program have a hard time showing 1 to 1 products you uploaded,
Sample:I had to make a photo for some PR of a bag but the logo on the bag was not looking correctly after many attempts and credits I had to give up. The backgrounds created was fine but I had to use Photoshop in the end to place the bag on the background.

Support have improved and now gives faster support and useful replies. I have lately been very happy with the support. Especially after som tek problems that was solved in the end.

Summary:
I recommend Premium Plus for getting the best quality and great amount of credit if you like generating a lot of AI photos and videos.
Freepik has 5 star potential but the credit model still punishes creative users. Hopefully they will have a Premium Gold in the future with free credit, to solve this issue.

Get it it-test it, in any version and you will generate some great videos, photos and have a laugh at the same time but you will sometimes pull you hair out in frustration that it will not get it correct but that is Ai in 2025, this will surely improve.

They keep bloating the service with AI trash

They keep bloating the service with unnecessary AI features and constantly change what’s included in your subscription. It's impossible to find good images now between all the AI garbage. It feels like you’re paying more for less every time.

Don't pay for my work

It's been many months since I started contributing to Freepik through their website Flaticon. Haven't seen a dime, although I have more than enough funds ready to be payed, according ind to my dashboard analytics. Sent countless emails to no avail. Customer support simply does not solve the issue.
I hope they fix this and pay me for my work. This is unethical and downright theft.

Disappointed by Submission Limit – Not Friendly to New Contributors

I was excited to contribute to Freepik, but unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. The platform requires a minimum of 150 resources to even submit a portfolio for review, with a cap of 200. For someone starting out or focusing on quality over quantity, this is a frustrating and discouraging barrier.

It feels like Freepik prioritizes volume over creativity and originality. This "free pick" model is not contributor-friendly, especially for designers or illustrators who carefully craft each item. Instead of encouraging high-quality submissions, it puts pressure on creators to mass-produce content just to meet the minimum.

I hope Freepik reconsiders this policy and creates a more supportive and inclusive environment for new contributors.

There customer support is trash..



There customer support is trash... I've faced an issue with their mockup editor tools, And i mail them about it and it's been 3 days didn't have any update on this. All they have to say is we move your case forward to this or that. And that's it they didn't focus on solving a case.

Lost My Subscription and Missed the Deal – A Disappointing Experience with Freepik

I contacted Freepik’s support team before subscribing to ask about any available discounts on the Premium+ plan. I was only offered a 20% discount, so I subscribed to the regular Premium plan.

Just a few days later, a **50% discount** appeared for new Premium+ subscribers. When I tried to upgrade, I expected they would deduct the amount I had already paid — but I was asked to **pay the full price (€143.64)** again, with no consideration for my recent payment.

In other words, to get the Premium+ plan, I would have to **pay almost twice**, ending up with barely any real discount.
I asked myself honestly: *If they were in my position, would they accept this?*

I reached out to support multiple times, explaining my situation clearly and politely, but I was completely ignored — no reply, no resolution, no fairness.

In addition to this frustrating experience, I’ve also faced other issues with the platform:

- **AI tokens run out too quickly** due to the high cost per use versus the limited balance provided.
- **Subscription pricing has become excessively high** compared to the actual value delivered.
- **Customer support is no longer flexible or fair** as it used to be — they simply don’t engage when things get inconvenient.

I lost the value of my subscription and missed a better deal that I could’ve taken if I had been treated with more transparency and fairness.
A disappointing and unbalanced experience overall.

One of the best companies out there

I've never had such a good experience with a company as I have with Freepik. First of all, their AI features are one of the best ones out there but their mockups and images are also of very good quality. The customer service makes it even better. They reply to your questions, help you out and are super friendly. I already suggested them to several companies and content creators I know. So 5 star review it is!!

I forgot about my ongoing subscription, and got charged unexpectedly. Obviously this is completely my fault, yet I emailed the FreePik team and they replied to my email within literally 5 minutes and refunded the purchase.

I bought the AI Plan, got 7K credits and i tried making a video, and then it seems like it used 2K of my credits.. like what the heck. I wanted to use character creator and it cost 5500 credits (5,5k).. what for business is this 🙄
